refreshes heart and soul again.

Refreshed by rain the lilies bloom 
and scent the air with rich perfume.

In blooming colour so divine
they share their joy and brightly shine.

I'll say goodbye to winter's pain.

Haphazard amid woods, lawns
Sand brine planks: 
runes of nature's 
colossal force, 
brawn.

A vast- avast! the harbored cry
Spiral'd sinews of vapor vaporize
The huddled helpless. Its mocking eye
Rise behemoth, 
Unmerciful, rise

Wind: 
The battering terror, no defense.
Tidal surge: 
Salacious mermaid beached.

One's life regained no recompense.
A safe and further shore unreached....

A Subterranean grip

Alas a woman's mass appears in this Word Trip

She cries for Ahab to head ashore "Give the creature the slip"!

Avast a wide mast unfurls across the ship 

The Captain's cries for the harpoon are drowned out by the cracked whip 

The wondrous size of the White Whale appears from the drip 

The sheer weight of the beast causing the schooner to flip 

The showdown is on 

between Captain Ahab and Moby Dick...

In fragile hands and soft lingering eyes. 
a supple smile burning as if a star 
for one who gazes through lenses. 
A galaxy of colors swirling and throbbing 
with electrical pulses beating blood 
through a maze of veins. 
Travel through hedges of high and low 
and run in circles before you know 
you are lost, lost within a heart. 
Secretive and full. 
Hopeful and despair filled. 
A contradiction of rigid gentleness. 
A beauty lost within closed eyes....
