Summer Begins

I am fearful of the start
and eager for it's end
but I know whatever happens
I can't avoid the inevitable
atlas summer begins

Take An Atlas

Take an atlas; open it,
Take my hand and point with it.
You’ve saved your trips to share with me
So take my hand; we’ll cross the sea.

Premium Member Poor Atlas

Whatever you've heard about the earth,
know that it has tremendous girth.
You cannot collapse or fold it,
and poor Atlas has to hold it.

Her Little Hand

her little hand
the birth anomaly I love
so easily
that I forget she has it
so always kiss it again

Round and Round

round and round
he goes on his tricycle
everywhere
a pleasure to watch and hear
(batteries thankfully not included)

Warrior Poet

No sweeter air then after the
penance of a piano note,
cascading chords and the fate of Atlas.
Tears of a warrior
How does one caress delicate

Daybreak

saying goodbye to you
gives me the power
to summon the dawn

hoisting the sun
like a little atlas
we never knew

i had such strength
i didn't cry that day
or the day after that

So It Is

So it is
Mounting tension
Camel’s back
Atlas
Crumbling stone
In the face of God
Clock melts
Slows
Stop

Pistons steam
Heat
Slowly
Powerful
Steel on steel
Grinding the air

So it is
You will not defeat me

Atlas

Nothing is set in stone
Feel the weight of the world
Pressed against your aching bones
Time is timeless
Life is priceless
Why bless the stress
Let it go
Bliss is simple
Just take the weight
Off those massive shoulders.

Premium Member Adulting Begins In December

birthday...
she’s all grown up,
with the weight of the world,
now on her shoulders — like Atlas.
stupendous the thought, of freedom to do,
everything you wanted to do.
sun and the moon sporting
smile, for it’s your
birthday

Jujitsu Tournament

Tigers of babylon draw tight
Power atlas at its brazen right
Strings and limbs, we can use these things

Explosive hips happen in flight
But all that grasps stays in sight
From shoulder to core declaration
On this mat we make a firm statement

Arrggghhhhh Audacious Aardvarks Attack Aimlessly

an apology approaches awesome ambience
adverse advances amass at altars
academically aroused arcades are absolved

astonishingly abrupt adverbs articulate arduously
atlas awakens all around
arrggghhhhh audacious aardvarks attack aimlessly

Atlas mused

the yoke we bear in time is space, the domain in which we view,
all that's done comes back again, because we chose it to.

when we look even deeper then, again we look some more,
what we thought the weight of the world is really its only door ...

A Day

A Day

Today I want to have a moment
To speak to the world to make my voice heard
Among other voices
Through entartianment
Through politics
Through pro test
I wanna be heard with all my might
Even if it is for one day
That I am heard
But atlas I'm heard

My Contst Pom

An artist rolls his brush full of vibrant color across a Canvas
A window to a distant world soon forms, a Catalog or Atlas.
A land of curious blooms, and candy floss
Odd bits of colorful stalk brim floating moss.
This land of flamboyant fun, and pinkish bananas.

Dustanya Diri

What is Jawi?
What is Rumi?
What is Sufi?
Who is Hamzah Fansuri?

We know Marco,
We know Atlas,
We know Amerigo,
But who is Al-Attas?

Sudah hilangkah jati diri?
Ibarat Laki tinggalkan Bini!
Lupakah hati bahasa sendiri?
Adat di jiwa bak karatnya kersani!

Feel

I sigh, like a tree in a cold, unrelenting breeze
I try, like aching Atlas to carry the weight of the world
I cry, like a solitary wolf howling for her lonely dark moon
I lie, like a masked man who can't look in the mirror.
I reply, like a flimsy facade trying to conceal any pain.

Nature a Form of Art

Life, life is a no Brainer
Why can't we get it at all?
Atlas nature at her best
No question to ask
The least of us think of her as a flower
While I think of her, as a man
With no plan, giving us her best shot
Results may very,
But nature, nature is a true form of art
