Billboard
Speedy Bill was often apprehended
For driving faster than recommended.
He paid officers no heed
Even increased his speed.
Now he’s on a wall decidedly distended....

Should Be Apprehended
Should Be Apprehended

Never likes things and wants them amended
Is a criminal who should be apprehended
Simple life is weird yet still complicated
And considered to be highly constipated
One day into hell he will have descended.

What Trump Intended
What Trump Intended

Many things Trump has intended
Wants to have Hillary apprehended
Should loose his job like Billy Bush
Talking about a Woman's touché
Everyone seem to have offended.

Premium Member Justice for the Birds
A crow, a raven, a grackle, birds so dark,
were apprehended in the park.
They stood in a line-up. They were caught.
Which was the grackle? Which was not?

Locked up, they were - a bad assumption.
What they need is not redemption.
They just need another trial,
A guilty snow-white dove, meanwhile,
sits in the sun and wears a smile....

Painful paradox
Heavily guarded heart,
wearily navigating life.
Like a fugitive,
invariably primed,
for that final day,
to be discovered,
apprehended,
imprisoned eternally.
Snapping shut like a bear trap,
only able to be opened,
by the strongest of love.
The kind of which,
only transpire in dreams.
If you dare,
to let your heart free.
The most painful paradox....

Apocalypse Rising
Dead echoes the night
A thud welcoming thunder
Vampire ghost lurking in sight
Wails like chains cut in asunder.

It is rising, my blood pressure
As each soul soiled beneath
Profusely blood spray without measure
Lost in frenzy struggle for breath.

Terrors of horrors insignia
Looming in the refuge of death
Apprehended future signal
To comprehend a seeing sight strength....

Together Our Hearts Suspended
These halcyon days seem fleeting
As our blue blood begins heating
Lie to ourselves, we've pretended
Together our hearts suspended

Both dive deeper in denial
Our thoughts we try to reconcile
For these sad souls are now mended
Together our hearts suspended

At first I was ducking for cover
But then, your grace I discover
My love you have apprehended
Together our hearts suspended...

I Fumble
Scuffling in the depths of the ghetto
Plagued by trouble
Lost in an isolated humanity
Gambling with my life playing in stubble

I fumble

A promise of vengeance
For my non-deliverance
Reality is my craziness
Apprehended by my silliness

I crumble

Desolation following me to oblivion
Self-destruction swallowed into this situation
Delusional from the inhalation

I stumble...

Bottomless Pit
Hurled at the speed of light
Into a black hole
Into the fierce vaccum
Tumbling, twirling, twisting
Falling for a thousand years
With an unchained melody
Until the Reign ends
Then apprehended suddenly
Jerked up at that same speed
By that chain- feet first
With that same unbroken
Primal scream
In fearsome terror
Surrounded by darkness
Dense enough to feel
More horrific than his own...

The Knife of Judgment
Oh why do you judge me before I speak?
Why - for my skin?
For my language?
My name is…
The judgment is quicker than a bullet.
Millions of thoughts and knowledge apprehended.
Yet one comes to mind.
Why is life so harsh!
Why is everyone so short sighted?
Am I to be in my own kind for all life?
Am I different?
You don’t make eye contact with me.
For what you hear.
Rise above.
Rise like the phoenix.
Join me in a union....

Language Stillest
Language Stillest

I gazed
I saw
The little rose petal
Red, violet, blue, pink, white
Colours hazed
Flying by the lip of the bridge

Put my palm
to own it
Zoom! It shuns
just an inch away.
Follow it again
the millionth time
can’t hold it still.

The fragrance tells
The warmth! Belonging!
Warmth is
Language stillest
Unsopken but
Wholly apprehended

Sweet rose be mine,
I pray.

Premium Member Purple Handed
Listen to poem:
He tried to clutch hold of
and grasp the grapes on the vines,
ripe and hued purple.

But his clasp was broken
as he was forced to inhale
the insecticide spray
ejected by overhead drone.

It was triggered by his motion,
to glide and soar
over the vineyard
dumping its toxic spray.

With a gasp and loud call out for help
he was apprehended, and
caught purple handed....

Premium Member Antonio Thinks Cesario Is Sebastian
The law authorities apprehended a man named Antonio. I have never met him before as he is someone I don't know. He contends that a while ago, he gave me some money. Now he wants it back to pay for bail that would set him free. Antonio kept calling me "Sebastian"; this seemed like an oddity. This action suddenly got my mind to be thinking. Is it possible my brother survived the ship sinking? Based on the play "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare.

The Face of Time
Her hands, they apprehended me
Her face, they tensed and locked
She really had me oh so good
When she went and took my…clock
Yes, clock I said, because of time
She stole it all from me
If I don’t get it back real soon
I may be history
Without knowing what time it is
I can never again be sure
Of time and how to spend it
I may be “nevermore”
Oh my word, please fix my clock
Then bring back all good
And we can watch the hands then spin
Just as we often should...

Through the Mist
Through the mist meandering
The years forgotten come
Like a lonely river wondering
Into a bay frozen and numb

In the winter's chilly blowing
In the bright and frigid sun
In the hearts unended longing
We are not cured or done

But the thought is not apprehended
Until you remember me
And our vows again are blended
Into love's felicity.

By the quiet morning marble gleaming
Where seasons go and come again
My hope on its silence leaning
Carry the panacea of pain....
