A Fisherman's Doubt
From a low, wind-swept bridge almost color beige,
I toss my fishing cane made in Anchorage,
hoping to catch some fish soon...
as I scorch in the hot noon;
if I failed again, it would increase my rage!...

Still, the Liquor Washes My Heart
mind
the port
anchorage
many love boats
discharge hard drinking
drunkard for traveler
many times who came in heart
but no time I caged the unknown
in me still, I wash heart by the love

no more ice flows
The polar bear stared into the water
Were there no more ice flows?
He saw a giant one, but it looked fragile.
Would he fall into the sea if he tried it?
Anchorage used to have plenty of places for polar bears.
Not anymore, many of his friends and relatives were gone
Floating away into the abyss of the depths of the sea....

Day and Night
DAY AND NIGHT
In winter, our northern days are almost banished
The night is like a big black cat at bay
The daylight sky has almost vanished
The day’s a timid grey mouse afraid to play

I Captained the Ship I Called My Own ~ark of Storm~
Ark of storm
A ship i called my own
A pride anew was born
I sail to a place i call home
I alone captained the ship
Through every destination and voyage
Make way for this mighty ark
Make way for a Royale anchorage
This ark of a thousand man
Within our territory we defend
With a sword in our hands
We fight till the very end......

I do not know?
Love's Abysmal Eyes
One dip into your eyes
And my itches get soothed
Just one dip
And I realize that in your depth,
Lies my anchorage!
Since when has one mere little dip
Been enough?
I shall thirst for more
And I shall grip you,
Claw at you,
So that your heart turns into an abyss
Into which I shall jump
Merely
To lose myself
From the drylands that I have been
Rooted on since the day I birthed!...

Crimson Sunset
The crimson sunset in the blushing bay,
a lone bird spreads wings on serene sky
to reach the clumps of cloud not so high
on color burst horizon of the drowning day.
The sailing soul finds bliss in anchorage divine
while the cadence of rippling water enshrines
the crimson sunset in the blushing bay.

Attraction and Aversion
Assigning labels, good or bad to thought,
misses the point about cause and effect,
arising in ether, as desires brought,
manifest here and now, what we detect,
each wave in its right, divinely perfect.
Likes or dislikes, to portions of our dream,
an anchorage to images that so stream,
stemming from ego association;
trying to seize a specific sunbeam,
our attachment thus cause of stagnation.

A Life Afloat
Our moveable house painted castle and rose, not a life we would have chose.Eighteen fifties harsh and mean, coal cargo so nothing stays clean.Doff your cap, touch your forelock every two mile at the gatekeeper's lock.
Clothes dry on a washing line strung, home for a time whilst the toddlers were young. As their number increased and grew ,places to sleep all too few.Family life impossibly hard so back we went to a tied cottage in Anchorage yard....

Sailing To New Home
Azure sea serene,
reflection of cyan sky.
In shadow of cotton clouds
the lone sailor drifts
away from his anchorage,
essence of life left on shore.
South wind on the sail
blows through abode abandoned.
Curtain of soul soars like cloud,
mind’s pages turn birds.
Life will sail past horizon
to unknown shore, to new home.

Death
DEATH.
For Time and Death and mortal pain
Give wounds that will not heal again.
Emily Bronte
From the land of the night
The death has spread its wings
Marking eyes cold & lips starved
Hope gone under goaded stray
Sensitive heart being bled grey.
An anchorage in diseased body
Withering like the autumnal plant
Decayed air under cover of mourning
Rusty dust stretching in stifled bay
Inky night spreading shadows of lay....

Penguins Mishap Is Honorable
Penguin was embarrassed because he had fallen through the ice.
He had not done it only one time, he had done it thrice.
Anchorage Alaskan penguins cheered and yelled “one more time!”
He became a hero of sorts, so he felt a bit more sublime.
Now on a roll, he decided to try to break the ice.
He jumped on it hard, but it was as solid as blackjack dice.
He tried again, and the other penguins cheered him on.
Not embarrassed now, he began skating on the pond....

The Golden Words
To have a successful marriage
It is vital to know four golden words
It’ll forever be your anchorage
To use, ‘Whatever you say dear’
When an argument heats up suddenly
Calmly whisper the golden words
It is sure bring the temperature down
When anger brings frigidity
Snuggle close and shower butterfly kisses
Gently whispering in his ears
The forever golden words
Rain or shine, sickness or health
These amazing words enchantingly
Allows you to live your life your way...
