Analogies
There are analogies
well hidden
in the trees
behind golden leaves

The barest breeze
reveals them
to those that take
the time to wander-

Life is meant to ponder....

Wonder About Trump
I am beginning to wonder about Trump. Every candidate
should have to take the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality
Inventory (MMPI), Wechsler Bellevue, Stanford Benet,
Miller Analogies and Kuder Interest Test. This would prove
just how normal each one of the candidates are.

Trump Tried To Tentalize
Trump Tried To Tentalize

They told me that Trump tried to tantalize,
And to us it never had been a big surprise;
Some say OCD,
It had to be;
His brains and personality should analyze.

MMPI, Miller Analogies, Kuder Interest,
Wechsler Bellevue and Stanford Benet.
He should be given these tests.

I'm not sure
if nature's spiritual voices,
if Earth's cultural wealth-songs and health-dances,
are merely subjectively interesting
nutritional creolizing metaphors,
or if all ecological analogies
are necessarily and objectively interesting,
or perhaps even both,
secular-sacred co-arising

Analogies
"Analogies"
Rachel Heffington
Like a truffle without chocolate
Like an apple without peel,
Like a mouth without a smile
Like a letter without seal,
Like a ring without a diamond
Like a watch without the time,
Like a fountain without water
Is a poem without rhyme.

(And no, I don't *entirely* agree with my own words up there, as I've read
some un-rhyming poetry I have really enjoyed. Rhyming verse is my favorite, though. :)...

America
Have you seen america?
Have you seen the eyes of America?
Have you seen through the eyes of America?
Or the Americans?
Outside it’s America
Yeah outside it’s America
And inside
It’s hell
the americans are inside
Well if this is hell
Then hell is freezing cold
Well if this is hell
Then all those analogies—
about hell freezing over—
well they’ve already been fulfilled
yes outside it’s America
it doesn’t snow in America
except on wedding days...
