Miles are between us,
still you can’t stop chattering;
Life is such a high
caught in this cumulus drift;
Altitude I can breathe in.

Billy Goat

There is an old goat named Billy
who finds the altitude chilly
and with insufficient grippage
to prevent downhill slippage
may fall off the mountain but will he?

Getting On In Your Career

After many years I am forced to conclude
It will almost certainly be your attitude
In the work place and not your aptitude
That will determine your ultimate altitude

The Moth

The light was so pretty, the light was so bright, the light was so tempting, especially at night. And then came the zap, the altitude drop. Whatever you’re after, do know where to stop!

A poppet swings upon a paradigm of flight. Cruising at an altitude below the starry night. Its wings made out of vines. Its seat reverberates in oak. A poppet’s pure airborne oxygen of sight. 3/14/2018

You Are Good Enough

You are good enough
Have a winning attitude
Possess a strong will
As you reach for the altitude
Always believe in yourself
Go forward with the time at hand
Show them that you have the fire
That my friends is the master plan

life is grand and beautiful
its feast lush and bountiful
the sun offers its caress
why be fearful of success

Why

the branches sway like arms
as they reach for the sky.
longing to go up into the atmosphere,
to go where the stars hit the sky,
to see a shining rainbow up there,
way up high.
wonder why it likes that altitude,
i wish i could know why.

Fading Flowers

The curtain of love
Has been drawn
Behind the closed stage
Of your eyelids
There is no light
To fondle the fading fondness
Your attitude
Has risen to another altitude
And our ship
Like a blind sheep
Has stumbled on an iceberg
Crushing our loving cargo

Art of Living

Look at the top not at bottom,

Show your attitude not gratitude,

Live as per our custom not for system,

Run towards altitude not for substitute,

Live life king size not at zero size,

Be costly not fancy,

Becomes ethical not critical.

Soar and Dive

Soar and Dive

Gliding in the tranquil skies
Effortlessly riding thermal lifts
Climbing high
and higher again
Karma’s calm
An ocean of peace.
Cloud whites obscure
Raindrops splash
Altitude falls
A bullet swoop
Alive, a life
None better exists.

A Moment's Notice

I took a step forward
and motion ensued
Another couple steps toward
True gratitude
My momentum gained
as did my altitude
Freedom attained
but of greater magnitude
Not merely uncontained
In a quaint interlude
But divinely unrestrained
And verily imbued

What of Aptitude

What of Aptitude?

                                        it is attitude
                             which aptly determines ones
                                     achieved altitude~

God's Way

I don't think
so I stink,
evil I didn't eschew
it I did chew,
God i took for granted
I became grounded,
had bad attitude
that brought low altitude,
I don't pray
so I was the devil's prey,
I got tired
and decided to be fired,
then I gave God a chance
He made me to dance.

Attitude Counts

To be good at what you do
you must have the wright attitude
If you put the effort in
you will go to the wright altitude

To have the skills for you to improve
you do the training that helps you move
It’s your mates who will take you afar
to show you the gate to make you a star

The Cold Tears of Clouds

At dusk one remembers
the bleak solitude
of sunless clouds and dark sea;
in mid-altitude
winds lash them and wheeze...
as trees are being drenched with
the cold tears of clouds.

Higher Planes

On metallic wings of hope,
violent noise propels man
through clouds of faith,
through the troposphere
and beyond
in accelerated exploration.

With every pound of thrust,
prayers gain altitude,
and the wonder
of universal forces
is magnified.

In time we'll know
if they've seen
the Eye of God.
