Alliterations Allure
The breath of Briance, I believe to be...
Life that my lungs listens to lovingly.

Like dawn upon the lawn, her yawn is drawn,
Surreal as fawn in sun that shadow swan.

She's the warm wind whose works heal wounds inside;
Drenched, pinched with french our tongue and lips collide...

make love to her mind before you engage her body

melt her with mellifluous metaphors
arouse her with amorous alliterations
romance her with rapturous rhymes
tempt her with tantalizing terzas
lure her in with loving lyrics
seduce her with sexy sonnets
pamper her with poetic praises

now, get ready for the night of your life...

Premium Member Pause My Poetry
You can bleed me blind,
execute my eyes,
victimize my vision,
immolate my imagery,
nullify my name,
suppress me into silence,
slaughter my soul,
execute my ego,
slay my spirit,
veil my verses,
poison my prose,
annihilate my alliterations,
ravage my rhymes,
waste my words,
vaporize my vocabulary,
halt my heartbeats,

but you will never
pause my poetry...

Form Is the Beauty of Poetry
Each poem has its own form
you can't Rhyme with concrete it sets up to fast
Lyric creates its own rhyme
Sonnet seems to be out of time

ABC is Acrostic in line
Bio always has something to say
And Blank verse no one can see
Alliterations is great for a cowboy

Double dactyl is okay for Dracula
Epic is to long and filled with history
Elegy is too serious
Limerick is to sour

Free Verse is the one for me it’s free...

Homophonic Phenomena
David J Walker

How freely dismissed
The simplest forms
That reason must take

	Mistaken
For roads
	Not taken

Or feigned to take

The vagabonds path
To madness and night

The phenomenon
	Of a homophone
left to its own
Devise

Hidden emendation
	Alterations
Of eruditious representations

Truth hidden within
alternative alliterations

which no cavalier palaver
 may define...

Firecrackers (Alliterations)
In a pick pack boom a wonderful light in the sky
Beaming gleaming screaming people out in the street
Watching the parade of light danced, glanced tranced
Happy sappy snappy to watch the firecrackers so beautifully
Amazing as it make the sky lively sparkly wonderfully
It shone in the dark out in the park making the mark
A sign of celebration in a cloud nine look so divine
Graces in the space a part of beauty to embrace

My Silence Is Screaming
my silence is screaming,
shouts of a thousand words
begging to be released from
a motionless playground of
metaphors on swings
caught in the air on high,
similes stuck on monkey bars,
personifications which cannot
get off suspended see saws,
as alliterations wait for their
turn to go down on slides
while the allegories are
immobile on merry-go-rounds,
my silence is screaming while
animation wants to take over the
frozen picture...

I Dont Know
they say inspiration is born from love
from the beauty around you
from the things you wish to have
the changes you wish to make
And the places you wish to go
that is truth
but deep inspiration
carrying weight and so many secrets
shielded by alliterations and metaphors
wrapped like an onion bulb
with so many and layers arranged atop each other
is born from pain
pain so deep, it requires an outlet
something to hold on to
a way to release
because it threatens to consume...

Meditative Alliterations On My Sleep Reality
MEDITATIVE ALLITERATIONS ON MY SLEEP REALITY

From the bed of many meditations
To the stare of a starry eyes,
Into the comforting realm of sound sleep.
Suddenly, I'm hanging out with frosh friend,

Miss Moyin mowing my morning memories.
Now tell me monotonously,
Is it deep dream voyage
Or awaken amusement into reality?

False Start
It sprang upon me,
a clawed metaphor
not anything real,
but a shaggy crypto-beast.
Hand picked alliterations
scatter like litter.

Then the seductive purr
the mannered modes, the manicured forms
those deftly obvious diphthongs
that like spoor, lead to more -
the unmistakable reek of
a force-fed poem

The first step they say is recognition,
the second step is to admit
a laryngeal contrivance.
The third step is to clean up
without complaint,
when it poops all over the page....
