Deep Russian
A woman feels alive and kicking
Whenever she gets a good licking
Insert a tool
Just like a mule
And who cares if the clock is ticking?...

Tiny Tiny Feet
Tiny tiny feet
Bound by a millennium and
1966
Swirling in candy-apple red flags fettered, unfurled
Gilded stars glittering in their midst.
How many celestial moons will pass until
Mr. Mao comes down to break up the
Combo and pronounce,
“God is alive, really kicking and has a
Grey grey beard”?...

The past
Recreating the mid seventies
With the Delfonics
Alive and Kicking
Snafu and String Driven Thing
Bedsitter land imagined
on the suburbia lengthwise
red duvets changed frequently

It seems so damn unfair
to live in the past
and today
the songs don't have rhythm
tattooed bards
by the wayside
so waif like
sing out their DNA

Not To Let Go
Bitten many times
Never harmed
Always on top
Alas
I, me and myself stand tall.

What is a man if not a man
Not isolated
Abandoned
Forlorn
But alive and kicking
For life is a meaning
To be emotionally happy
Without insinuations
Harm
And stabbing in the back!

I'm alive
Waiting sincerely
For some peace of mind without harm.

Alas
I me and myself stand tall....

Alive Again
Beauty is a dangerous phoenix
Never teaching its vital lesson
Yet when you had enough of its tricks
It shows you a new, red, dawn

Beauty is very much alive and kicking
Waking you up from your sorrow
Beating at you with its wing
Only to be a shot by Cupid’s arrow

Beauty is a brass pendulum,
Coming and going, without much feeling
A monotonous rhythm soothing you numb
Until you take shelter beneath its red wing...

I Want
With things I want
yet cannot have
my life is shot through.
It is the wanting and not having
which instils much of their value.
Dreams, ideals and wishes
tumble like crystal feathers;
falling, smashing, fragmenting and dissolving;
yet what they leave in their wake
is the asphalt dust of life evolving
into something licked by tongues of fire,
alive and kicking, black and blue,
these things I want
yet cannot have
mean less than nothing
if I cannot have you....

Bring It On
Love in a vortex, tempest savaged;
Slammed to euphoria, broken, ravaged;
Breathing volcanic, incinerated;
Rocketing skyward, motivated;
Lodged in a crevice, trapped, imprisoned;
Bestowed on the blinded, sight envisioned;
Carved on a headstone, legend hammered;
Roared from the rooftop, cacophony clamoured;
Ripped on the railings, torn and tattered;
Buried with honour, illusions shattered;
Sweet resurrection, finger licking;
Bring it on down, alive and kicking......
