There was an albatross Jack Jack
He hung around Patricia's neck
When her husband came
A matter of shame
On her cheeks he began to peck
HILLSIDE And ALBATROSS A Haiku
cliffs black blue strata
hide grey in the undergrowth
albatross dying

Albatross
Albatross is a nice seabird,
He predicts when sea storm appears.
He doesn’t breathe a word
He promised the sea to keep for years.
The billows roll free
Upon the South Sea.
An albatross sleeps on the wing.
The tide rushes in,
A song’s on the wind--
A sea chantey mariners sing.
Form:
You are still my muse
Unwilling
Undeserving
You say
I am not your muse
Without a muse
All work is lost
Punish me
Hate me
Loathe me

Lady Albatross
Our love span long on the wing
My one and only

Composed for Viv Wigley's
"Love Letter"
Accepting the zeitgeist
Adapting to challenges
Avoiding all dangers
Amusing with the mate
Attending the young ones
Aspiring to fly far…
Ah! What an existence!
A hit tune off 'Rumours'
Artists are Fleetwood Mac
Amazing musicans!
Also a sea bird with
An enormous wing span
Airborne beauty in flight
Alternate name - Gooney
big rocks make 4 glisten of the eye,
will catch a lady bye n by ,
the dollar cost might make me cry,

Seabirds, like Albatross,
skim the waves of open
sea dipping down to nab
small fish then fly away.
Shall I be compared to
Shearwaters -- eating at
Smithy's Seafood Buffet?
Astounding high fliers
Ace gliders and divers
Artful, very skillful
Amazing large wing spans
Ashore only to breed
Awesome and majestic
A great bird of the sea.

Albatross
When in White House we
Came across a President,
Who was an albatross.
When we will see him,
Ourselves cross and say God save us
From the albatross.

I hunted down every Wandering Albatross for their wings
Fashioned for me a pair of wings and jumped from the tallest peak,
Besides my broken bones and all; God, I am fairly fine.
Birdie Trouble
So you think you’re going to hole me
Teed off well and on the green rolled me
Looked like hole in one
Then all hope was gone
When old albatross swooped and stole me
Regret is the luxury
Which we can ill afford
Of memory’s gilded albatross
Encrusted with jewels
Of sorrow and pain
Draped around our necks
To mock our joys
With guilt and shame.

ah yes your verse does surely flow,
put brain into neutral, go,
ask shakyspear, recite the words,
stop him when an earful heard,
tell the Albatross to go...
im comatose i know:)
thanks p. d.

the albatross of hope
has begun his descent
wings of regret
blocking warm sun
fragile dreamsaplings
doubled over in spindly lament
windswept harvest fields
empty, quiet
stagnant ponds of self-loathe
give no reflection
Trump Is An Albatross
(Worn around necks of supporters.)
For words whole church was at a loss;
He was beaten to death by big cross;
Wings outspread;
Wish were dead;
Some say that Trump is an albatross.

Mary and Joseph
Sit proudly
Expectant parents
To the miracle
Of nature.
A brave heart
against
Persecution
Born to soar
over adversity
In the dark days before extinction a bird soars
A free spirit
The albatross
Of all the birds there is a boss
The majestic Wandering Albatross
It can sleep mid-air on the wing you see
Never having to land on the deep briny sea
As to why you’d kill one, I’m at a loss
That majestic Wandering Albatross.
Fred ordered a side of albatross
Asked the waiter how much that would cost
Waiter said, “For you it’s free”
Fred smiled and said, “I’ll take three”
Hundred bucks sir ~ Overordering!
Think outside the box
Shed your shackles, chains and locks
Break through all the rocks
Stones will drag you down
To the depths until you drown
An albatrossed clown
Free your soul and mind
Be in one day at a time
And you will unwind
An Albatross Before
I hate to sound like an albatross,
But Libby does have hearing loss,
And criticizing will make her cross.
Another church experience. She
is roaming around church to see
where the sound is the best.

Another Trump Albatros
Trump has been albatross around our neck,
That is making us turn into a whole wreck;
Flaps both wings;
Stupid song sings,
And from party they do want him to defect.
(When all of my memory I will collect.)
Jim Horn
Humdrum encounters of aging:
I walk clouds in a vision of epiphany
glaring cavillingly at a world beneath me
peeling back scabs of failure
a negative spiralling albatross;
a wider perspective of clarity confronts
“life’s too short for this crap ”
