Lovely letter introduction, very romantic poem, Maureen. Romantic Warrior here, always knew you were a secret romantic at heart. Your last line ... my one and only is such a beautiful romantic line. It also happens to be one of the greatest jazz songs ever, "My One and Only Love." Splendid haiku. Pure poetry, dear. Love and smiles always.

Thanks Jan :) I figured an albatross would have an exceedingly long time to compose a love letter for his mate and too short a time to deliver it, a Haiku seemed apt ;)
