An added blessing of kids in home school
Not being subjected to these damned fools...

A QUICKIE

At last resorting to trickery
faking orgasms so stickily
that the bed sheets adhered
to her bush, and his beard
pleased it was over so quickily.

The Human Race
The Human Race

Carry on down your path
Walking your care free mile.
Mindlessly adhered to modern lanes,
A blind infestation to its own life.
Stuck in the now,
Stuck in the, me.
A cold shoulder to its very existence.
Carry on down your path,
A head on crash with yourself....

Sos of the Heart
SOS of unmeant needs
subliminal messages
overtly stated
meant to be
strictly adhered to
by all who saw the
emotional morse code
a continues distress single
set out for all to witness
but only those who possessed
the hearts secret decoder ring
could decipher the message...

No Truth, Importance Or Love
The truth spoken but not adhered to
Ignored to pursue things just for you

Importance left behind in the dust
Seed left to raise due to lust

Nothing learned from a repeated sequel
Love from your kids, there’s nothing equal

Love is tricky but can be viewed like this
Impossible without liking or interest...

The Drunkard's Loss
The Drunkard’s Loss
Dr. James E. Martin
©August, 2013

“I don’ts got no money”,
The hillbilly said.
“If I hads some money,
I’d be elsewhere instead.”

A question arose
About the loss of his dough.
“I should have adhered
To drinking more slow!”

He finally came around,
And discovered anew,
He should never be found,
With that drunken crew....

Sticky Winter Limerick
She dressed in a snow suit of red and blue
Snow drifts surround her…oh what can she do
A snow man offered choc chips
Kissed her snow covered hot lips
Their snow lips adhered…hope love will ensue

Premium Member To a Diabolical Moment
A moment
to catch a breath and sigh;
A moment
to pause and shout a cheer;
A moment
to just smile and cry;
A moment
to welcome the healing tear;
Yet, it remains a moment
that’s not without lingering fear.

While the symbolism of racist bigotry
may have disappeared;
So many of its ghostly practices
still remain adhered.
So, don’t forget that flag’s history;
but remember its legendary praxis....

Holy Scars
A kiss left among the stars
Longed for me
My precious maze
Windows shut
I felt your gaze
Wave have raised your blissful shore
Seeing the world as you knew before
God you lifted
For you persisted
Ready to defend
All worthy friends
Honored by plea
You watered my tree
Taste of delicatessen
A worthy life lesson
Lost treasuries
You forgave all riveries
Adhered to confess
To whom all that have been blessed...

The Morrigan
Ancient goddess, greatly feared
Maiden, Mother, and Crone all adhered
Independence, strength and fertility near
The Morrigan, The Morrigan

Through the dark and fog she treads
To the misty river's edge
To wash the clothes and the threads
Of those, not yet, but destined dead
The Morrigan, The Morrigan

With piercing fiery-angered cries
Over the battlefields she flies
Gathering skulls and hoisting them high
The Morrigan, The Morrigan...

The Mob
Hunters become hunted
The hunted become lost
Hearts get clouded
In a permanent frost

Rules are rules
Rules to be adhered
Thoughts put to standby
Hearts to be cleared

Pleas on deaf ears
Integrity dissolved
All hands now stained
Intelligence devolved

A river of anger rages
Non against the flow
'Kill them, Gut them'
Hypocrisy at its best
Justice a forgotten quest
Judgment passed on rumour
Evil breeds…
A black cancerous tumour...

Premium Member Time Is Determined
The time is spinning away as I watch.
I marvel at her determination.
Six ten, six eighteen, six twenty-three, six thirty-six.
What is it like to live without time?
Without a schedule? Without a calendar?
Without a routine? Without this man-created-craziness?
A concept so foreign, I cannot fathom the possibility
Of what could happen if time was not adhered to.
If time was not respected or given any thought at all.
Would we squander it or savor it?
That is the question I ask....
