Why am I sad
Saddy-sad-sad
Saddy-sad, saddy-sad
Saddy-sad-sad.

Why is life bad
Maddy-sad-bad
Maddy-sad, maddy-sad
Maddy-sad-bad.

An Absurdity

While waiting for my brainy date
My ignorant friend cried "Oh great!
Now everybody's dead!"
He so absurdly said,
Upon seeing Hamlet did berate.

Respect Absurdity

You think you got the point
The big picture
Certainly that gives you confidence.

But you cannot understand
The limit is unplanned
Respect absurdity.

Premium Member Those Wtf Moments

what is one to think
what is left to say
when one is stunned awestruck by the
absurd absurdity of the absurd

She was called the Lyin’ Tamer.
Absurdity would enflame her.
	She could spot a line
	way back from foot nine.
She’d decline and who could blame her?

Woke goes broke

A man got shunned from a haven
The host made rules that were craven.
Peers banned his prize joke
for fear of the woke
Proud noses were pecked by his raven.

Absurdity
tries and mostly
fails to
tear open the
grip of
linearity
of separation
as the
overwhelmingly
favorite perspective~
the perspective of
the suffering
seeker~~

Chimps can't see color like you and me Sadly, only in shades of grey do they see But paintings by chimps Buyers love the tints As for me, I can't stop giggling at the absurdity

The Freewill Myth

the absurdity
and memories
of endless
choices......
this
muddy angst
heaves
beneath
this nothingness
and
washes thru
my mind
like
some monstrous
freedom
clinging
to
the claws
of time

Surrealism Iv

Words are eating commas,
Phrases are eating the page
Pages are eating the parallel space
The end of Quantum Mechanic
Is reaching its absurdity
its maximum entropy
It is cold
I have to burn my journal.

Obituary

OBITUARY
I am writing my own obituary
To bury my soul into my own cemetery
Don't you feel the situation scary
Let's burn our hearts to cherish the absurdity

Bad Lighting and Bruises

You slapped my face; yet,
I'm still awaiting the sting,
bruised on the good side
I'll never show.

I choose to stand in bad lighting,
for this one act,
absurdity play.
If I wore makeup,
I'd swear it'd run.

Viscosity

VISCOSITY
The water inundates my soul of viscosity
They are promoting their atrocity
Don't you feel the bad omen of pseudo-reality
Let's talk about the absurdity

I go from the other side of absurdity
To realize the velocity of reality
Don't you want to encounter the conspiracy
The cosmos is spinning in conformity

The idea that our founding fathers intended anyone over 18 to possess enough firepower to destroy the entire continental army of 1776 is absurd, arrogate and dangerous.

Life's Angles

Absurdity undisputedly does ambush our quest for jollity
But so,too,do glamour and the euphoria that attend our world
Clashes with a world that spurns to surrender meaning
Dating the perverse option may curtail, yet
Every cloud has a silver lining.

Will we soon do away with all our currency The way things are going it's almost a certainty Debit cards have taken over What happens playing poker Do they throw in their debit cards, the heights of absurdity © Jack Ellison 2016

Cry

CRY
When I try to listen to the silence, I hear your cry
Then I paint the hope of universe and hear the voice of the sky
Life is absurdity and nothing you can fry
Let's run the kite and we will love to fly

The Frogs

In the space between wall and door
The frogs grin
Paper death masks and spindly, clutching fingers
Jarring trespassers with their menacing absurdity

On the doorstep
The verge of confession, keyhole whispers
I stroke the tiny corpses
Defiance taut against my fingertips

I shall never die

If my love was allowed to exist

I shouldn't be left alone with the absurdity of my thoughts
I had this feeling today that I wanted nothing more than to be a flower pressed between your pages
I want you to crush me.....
Until all the air and light around me ceases to exist and there is nothing but you
My world, only you

Outside

Born on the outside of the world
Everything seems so strange
Never felt like I belonged
Success is the only thing that keeps me tethered to the absurdity
The pain of fading consiousness in the last lap is the only reality
Everything else is trapped in another world... Don't know where don't know why don't know how
