In the evil
Festering dark shadow
Of September 11
Hope rises
Grows out of
Bone fragments
The building blocks
Of humanity
someone stole my heart
ok I left it unlocked
with the keys in it
GANDER NEWFOUNDLAND
38 PLANES HAD TO LAND
FOLKS GAVE A HELPING HAND
AFGHANISTAN, WHERE
CANADIAN TROOPS SERVED THERE
WE DID OUR FAIR SHARE
On 911,
The twin towers
Said, we cry out loud
For this blood,
We shed
Tears become flames
These deadly games
Haunted by,
The ghosts of men
Before, we truly die
My trainer said just one more
Now I'm stretched out on the floor
Helpless here flat on my back
Waiting for that heart attack
Someone dial 911
Now the end has just begun
I'm feeling weak as a pup
I don't think I'm getting up
Cuddled in complacency
Assuring herself nothing will change
She is content
Personified oak
Wrapped in warm bark
Warm reassuring branches
Perfect husband
Happy children
Wonderful life
911 happens
To her
Tearing her limb from limb
Where oh where have the great men gone
The ones who open the door and carry conversations
Who keep flowers coming for your report card of
How you are doing
Maybe they never were at all
Just a figment of imagination
A wanted thing dreamed up by lovely women
Soul matters
Driving in the Californian sun
Reaching out of your car laughing at pedestrians
River flowing clear as day
Sunlight shining
Amazing flow
Old times
Drugs
Cocaine
Mafia
Alone in the Cali sun
Diamond rings
Glowing night
Amazing women
Oooooo!
Diamonds!

She goes to work each and every day
Not knowing who she will save today
So proud I am of her
My Son is the lucky one
18 years she has been saving lives
Not once has she asked for a prize
What courage she has protecting our lives
I am so proud of her she is my 911
My Daughter In Law my 911
I tried to resist you
You're no good
for me
You're bad to the
core
I love you
I hate you
I don't know what I feel
When I’m around you
I don't know what
or who I am
What I feel for you
is powerful
And much bigger
and stronger than
me
So
Help!
Help!
Help!
911!

I have a neighbor who ties up 911
Complaining that a dog is barking
A person who is in dire need might not be able to get through
He might not be able to connect while they are still conscious
We have tried to explain this to her
But she is selfish, and does not put others first
Pete’s garbage can is still out.
There she goes to call 911.
Police approached his bathroom door
Guns drawn in dramatic fashion
In answer to his 911
Noting that his face was ashen
He told them that He locked the door
After waking to the racket
They said, "That was fast thinking sir,"
"To fight crime's, more in our bracket"
It turned out to be a Roomba
There was no thief to charge the crime
Although they had to write it down,
It got a nickel and a dime!
9/11/2001
A day of darkness
The sky is gray all around me
Ash falling down like snow
Sirens screaming
Frantically fumbling through the debris just to get free
People crying in the streets
Searching every face they meet
Heavy hearts with tear soaked eyes
A moment to think I’m alive
How can I help? What can I do?
Somehow we will make it through
Altogether is how we stand many years on this precious land.

The tragedy of loss we feel today
Will never forgotten; may never go away
Mothers,fathers,sonsand daughters
Their memories will never faulter
In our hearts forevermore
Heaven has surely opened it's door
Now angels in heaven they shall reign
Never knowing hurt or knowing pain
To live with Jesus forevermore
In heaven where they shall forever soar.

Some crooks are dumb as they come,
these thieves should get what they deserve
as they won't go so very far
now they're done taking a ride
in the stolen Police car...
with, 'To Protect & Serve
Dial 911,' printed on the side.
When the judge asked them, 'Why?'
and stressed, 'It's best if you confessed.'
The wiseguys both admitted,
while facing five to seven,
(have you guessed?)
'We thought it was a Porsche,
a Porsche 911.'
today i sit
in silence
beneath darkness
in remembrance
the sky
didn't get the memo
its thunderous roar
is echoing
across the hills
crumbling
my chain of thoughts
like buildings
lost
flashbacks
blinking
in fragmented
bolts of lights
like explosion
of mind
grounded shadows
falling down
all around
like lives
gone
its anger
lashing in streams
stinging like tears
against my face
perhaps
it’s just lashing out
in remembrance too
