The evanescent canvas, colors slowly fade
but fading in the sun, the moon is not afraid.
transient are the footprints etched in sand
with time and tide, meets the sea and land.
autumn leaves wither in dusklit winter shade
in sweet fake words, trust is often betrayed
hazy clouds of fading love , always dismayed
a dull painting dimmed, none can understand
the evanescent canvas
hiding in shadows, grief is not displayed
in dried tears, faint conversations made,
in a candlelight dinner with roses in hand
petals shriveled in book, stories unplanned.

unleashing a torrent in heart of June.
he yearned for tulips he had never seen
till their eyes met that summer afternoon
sapphire mystic eyes, her tanned soft red cheek
lambent lights sweetened a mango sorbet
pastel illusion too frozen to speak
nightingale songs tuned a dance anyway.
footsteps faded looking for silver streams
in desert of thoughts, world of make-believe
shimmering a mirage painted in dreams
a heart warming story, pure love they weave.
In gold braided tresses, her vibrant flame
of summer love shades, he could never tame.

Blurry eyes enticed, in aureole golden water
an allure of distance, shimmering a mirage.

Too late to trap that errant tongue
That slipped those words...
And just so, an evil deed was done
Now smiling ruefully
To sell your saline tears so dear
That rolling past collecting debts
To siberian mines or the
Ever constant sea
Now bile is oozing from a punctured heart
Sliver moon shimmering a path
To cross this ocean of regret
Standing on the doubting shore
Wind kept hair and both feet wet
Only unfit words coming back to me and worry
And floating miserably a rolled up note
Humble bottle Im so sorry
Holding you inside one fragile beautiful flower blossoming dream
Sweet you are my love painting words breathtaking within all wishes
Silvery streak of moonlight shimmering a star
only now I read between the lines trailing thoughts
How can you ask someone to stop loving without care
an impossible task even for the hardest of hearts
If I were the last person on this planet sunshine through clouds
that's how it draws to me you're asking me not to love you
Misery likes company cuts deeper than a knife wounds beauty
never was the answer to love in our friendships face
