Concepts I thought were imperative as a teen
Uncalled for, superfluous items often unseen
A mansion, movie star status and lots of money
Not nearly as important as being called mommy and honey
I died on surgeons table
Before surgeons knife sliced my chest
Before anesthesia put me to rest
I died in imagination as hopes die in fable
Vivid thoughts ran amok
Which new abode I will go, if I die
What new way I will live, if I survive
Mind clueless, thoughts at dead end fork
Malfunctioning Valve plucked out
New Heart Valve transplanted
Ribs cut, Heart put on ventilator
Surgery over, operation table light put out
With dangling drips, in ICU, I was shifted
Resurrection hopes shifted to ticks of monitor
A row of shops left abandoned
People fled to towns
Wooden planks left out of place
Slits and holes penetrated through
Small ferns growing wild
Deep inside hollow and dark
A home shifted
A broken shop remained
Everything has fell asleep
Except the glory of the past
The history of the past
The bustling life of the past
And the mourning of the passersby
A sunken face on all sides pale,
As the owner’s head keep supporting a pail,
Then, to the also saddled younger,
He flung a suffocating order:
That he his own suppressive load take over,
And if he so wished bear it forever,
But must not any bitter tale,
Dare to their daddy tell,
About a sudden disgraceful inability,
Or a shifted responsibility,
As all hearers would judge it disguised hostility,
And to him ascribe lesser agility.
Something shifted, in invisible space
Happening fortuitous, by Gods grace
Magnetic pulse from our palms transmitted
Energy divine, never abated
Outpouring gently, at an easy pace
Vibrant with bliss, its origin we trace
To the cave of our heart, our home, our base
Small miracles thus, mindfully detected
Something shifted
Enlivened by bliss divine, face to face
Tranquil and content, no puzzles to lace
With thoughts rested, nothing to be bisected
Silence holds the key; who’d have suspected
Infinite becomes, consciousness wheelbase
Something shifted

Youth Fled Away, Time Has Shifted
Youth fled away, time has shifted
that cumbersome dark veil lifted
With more Light, my eyes can now see
that lost lad hiding within me.
Years bring wisdom if one lets it
so pay heed, do not forget it
Temptation says, let us do that
for risking is where cool is at.
Yet what else can human life be
than to live and learn, you and me
Life has errors, both great and small
because of greed, we want it all.
If so blessed, one is set right
finding truth's gift, renewed sight
Upon learning, we should scale back
our daring Fate when we attack!
Youth fled away, time has shifted
that cumbersome dark veil lifted
With more Light, my eyes can now see
that lost lad hiding within me.

Simple Rhyme, ( Time And Its Learning Curve)
Note: A bit of wisdom, youth too oft risks all because they have yet to ever take a great and harmful fall. Sad thing is sometimes that great fall does more than just harm-- sometimes it ends their life. Time's learning curve makes room for such eliminations, so use more caution, less jumping in without thinking. Think long and hard and look before you leap...
