The Tug That Roars Within Me

My biggest weakness is my desire for obsession
My want to be fully engulfed in my aeipathy for another person
To give them all of me
And more, all I want to be
To gladly abandon any other potential
To blind myself
To neglect anything else that needs my attention

To forsake my goals and any progress I've made toward them
For the sake of being consumed by the feeling of being in love
To hold tight to someone long after they are gone.
To fixate on an idea
I do this to my detriment

I remain stagnant in a moment long past
And feel it still, as real as it once had been
My disposition to sacrifice the current moment is my undoing
I abandon the things that need tending to
I die to all future moments
I could easily live the rest of life as a court jester
Playing the role of Romeo on the stage of my own mind

Speak For Yourself

We wish
We could watch
Ourselves
Happen.

Do you
Think
We can?

Expectations

I guess I expect
Those Exceptional
Best of the Best
OR just let it Go
Passing the Test
That's Incredible
The Last to just Rest
Past Invincible
Has to Impress
In Visual
Ask with no less
Dependable
No nag or no pest
Recommendable
Classiest yet
Impeccable
Don't ask but just gets
So Sensible...
Yet the facts will show
That it's Impractical
To expect the Rest
To be so Flexible
Acrobatical
Intensive mode
So Radical
My intent should go
So Compatible
Sensational
My paddle rows
My engine goes
Infallible
Pretending though
I needed to know
Till I leave it & Go

Self Knowledge

I'm so dramatically afraid
                  of recognize me deep inside
to the point of not being able to
not further being my fairly friend truly...

Premium Member Self Knowledge

I am the earth, the star and the sky,
The water, the cloud and the air,
I am the universe and everything in it,
The beings that were and would be,
I am not the body with a name,
Nor the ego that came with it,
I am not the photograph on the wall,
That will remain after me,
I am not the slave of time,
Nor the master of fate,
I am as much of you as you are of me,
For you and I are brief expressions of eternity!

Poetry of Self-Knowledge

For reading poetry so much
and so many poets, I am not right
if what I write is mine,
         or them ...

          My mouth is a sensitive,
          speaks up in silence...
          There are speaking mouths.
         without brain ... there are
          mouths that talk beyond
         that the speech itself ...
         Crazy mouth

          I love myself,
         I admire ... however.
         I'm not a narcissist ...
I realize that I'm not ugly,
         nor pretty ... but
         surely I am, fantastically
          live

         My mother was
         my first room
         crib and address ...
         After that, I came to
          the world...

         This body of mine,
         I borrowed it
         in a settlement
         supermarket
         from another nursery
          world

Formless

When I peer through the windows of my eyes,
so desperately I want to know who I am.
What is the cause of my being?

At times I feel formless and empty,
a collection of memories. Maybe,
no more than arising from an idea.
Here existing in this moment with you.

Life bursts into being out of the timeless pool of the void,
the uncreated, like bubbles - bursting into life,
time and time again.

Disillusioned self-empowered battling ego's, all suffering,
and, all pass through time and space.
Is it society that guides the individual,
Or the power of some ubiquitous force?

The Focus Song

If You Know Thyself
then you know the world

Motivated by madness
and driven by desire,
dive into the pool of passion
and swim deep as you can.

If You Know Thyself
then you know the world

The window of life
has many views,
always respect reality
It’s really really real.

If You Know Thyself
then you know the world

Learning something new
everyday is powerful,
be steadfast In your ability
to conquer challenges.

If You Know thyself
then you know the world

And when we know the world, we know us

Self Knowledge

Self knowledge..

Is the ultimate prize..

Where your masterpiece..

Of life abides..

Self Knowledge

Who do you really know?
Are you a true believer of self knowledge?
Who can you really trust in a world consumed by disloyalty?
Who do you really know in a world ravaged by confusion?
Do I know you?
Can I trust you?
Do you know you?
Can you trust yourself?
