I walk into the darkness,
my Father holds my hand
Naked in Him barefooted
I see with my spiritual eye, dimension spirit realm
I hear with my ears, heavenly things
I touch with my soul, abundantly beings
Angels sing I can hear them calling
I walk not afraid, I am with my heavenly host
I walk not with a stranger, but with Jesus Christ
Elohim gives direction, pause, accentuation,
and even interruption

"There is strength in silence."
Anthony Douglas Williams
Nothing heard.
Such a deafening hush
can frighten some people.
Quiet has its intrinsic goodness.
Consider careless musicians
who ignore the rests in music.
Nothing said.
Ask a Quaker,
to explain the settled silence
which they practice in worship.
Listening for the still, small voice
can be a fruitful time of self-examination.
Nothing needed
except the curious word, Selah.
Selah is an expression often found
in the Psalms of King David.
Why is it used and what does it mean -
pause to ponder.

A Maskil by Anil
Themes that span every emotion
Schemes and plans of enemies
No rhyme but every reason
To thank Creator God for victories
Lord Thy Love bathed us for generations
Lord Thou, ever faithful, so merciful
Lord, without Thee, hate and humiliations
Would be our cup. Worship God Eternal
(Selah! A musical term, or pause)
We praise Him dawn & dusk, First Cause

A
place you want to be is heaven
A
space you want to inhabit
Now
In retrospect
Whom Am I to contest, to resist
Just need a kiss from the Father
And yes
He will bother
To put that inkling... in your heart
But it's ultimately is your choice
Just listen to the soft, small quiet voice
Now
In retrospect
If I would just, resist the devil
he SHALL flee from me
Ignore the loud voice deny it
Listen to the quiet voice
Selah
Peace
AMEN

Be still and know
God’s Spirit shows
us where to go
Selah. Be still and know.
We talk too much
Spirit, nonesuch,
leads with soft touch
when we’re talking too much.
God is still near
when we can’t hear
lost in our fear
have faith, God is still near.
Peace be still, words
from my Shepherd
my heart was stirred
Peace, be still, all I heard.
God's still small voice
hearing? our choice,
Selah. Rejoice
heeding God's still small voice.

I reflect on my current 'reality' & how I have thought in my past day's
Indeed how many times I reasoned on your existence.' Or lack of it?
Or gave you a Dimension I could at least comprehend.'
How alike was I in all this as is all mankind?
Time.. Tangibility, how self deluded can we be? is a hundred years forever?
Yet this small space.' I.. We have denoted as 'reality' as a time of portent even'
Thuough this was only because it was in 'my' lifetimes span,
Have not others gone through the same passage, in lifes transient chapter?
How alike in our miscomprension we can be.'
For it is written, you make my days as a 'handsbreadth'
Again it says you view a thousand years as a watch that passes in the night,
For a thousand years is like a day, and a day is like a thousand years to You,
Also in all this, all the conjecture all the 'science' do not these actions.. This
Expenditure of our precious time, reinforce the very truth of your existence.?
For whoever built themselves castle walls, if it were not to keep someone out?
Whoever has not mustered their arguments before going into the courtroom?

It’s late August, and there are some hot days yet ahead. The heating system of the earth has gotten the word. It is time to start down shifting to lower temperatures. Such orders are clearly understood by Mr. Summer. He has to share the climate stage with Miss Autumn.
Standing ready for their commanding orders are the weeds and the seeds.
Flowers and trees are listening, as are beautiful birds and honey bees.
Ants and squirrels gather and store their harvest, but continue to feed.
Nature’s bells slowly ring as summer’s Season begins to recline and recede.
I whisper a prayer about our many creeds, selfish deeds, and our greed.
May we pause and calm ourselves like the creatures and trees of nature.
May we fine tune our hearts and open our ears to hear that clarion sound.
May we respond to Creation’s King, and experience a ‘Selah Season’*

SELAH
As the sharp rays
of sunlight slowly sliced
through the tarring tinted clouds,
I wiped away the web
of darkness of night;
broke off a piece of time
and used it to scrape away
the corrosion of apathy
from the heart of my mind
and resuscitated eroded emotions.
Today I will open
dusty luggage of creativity
and pull out wrinkled war worn words;
etch ebony emotions of long lived life
onto the refined pulp of trees
And weave soul stirring songs;
mould scented flowers
of peace, love and justice; as
I feel the breath of God
warming my serene sweet soul
while feathering the nest
of my precious, poetic pregnant mind.
Selah.

Let all the music stop.
Silence all the joyful noises.
Meditate upon His word
As the singers lift their voices.
Dancers hold your movements.
Musicians cease your playing.
Let us sing God's praise together
And think of what we are saying.
