Saviors
See the thrashing
The panic
Hear the cries
The screams
Know their drowning
With no help
Instinct engages
I dive in head first
The thrashing calms
Panic subsides
Less crying
Screams change to whispers
Support gives purpose
I hold on tight
Promising not to let go
Now cast aside
Once they can swim again
Alone in the expanse
Realizing their support
Kept me afloat
I feel myself begin to sink
Slipping beneath

Needing Saviors
It is natural to hunger for a savior –
when spiritual, we turn to God; and when
feeling more literal, toward government,
our mates, extended families and pens –
Today, I write my better world; perhaps,
investing too much in image, in song,
and the music of my own voice:
Here, I am master, in the snow-white
beginning

Unexpected Saviors, Part Iv
...IV.
My vision began to flux oddly,
vomit came and went from my throat,
my balance shifted here and there,
once again, like I was on a boat.
And then I was back inside it,
looking out from that great machine,
my fellows looked on, I focused,
told myself this was not a dream.
They all pressed in, wanted to know
where I had gone

“We do not know how we missed them,”
he said, his voice becoming said.
“Hundreds of them, some big, some small...
the heavens all seemed to go mad.
“Some struck hard into the oceans,
and tsunamis scoured the coasts,
the ones hitting land threw up dust,
and that was what killed off the most.
“Just like back in the Cretaceous,
no sun meant the

We then walked back to a bunker,
a vast complex deep underground,
I stared at it all, astonished,
as the robots lead me on down.
We went to an old conference room,
and the lead robot met my eyes,
asked,”How did you survive out there?
It’s been decades since mankind died.”
I said,”Is that what happened here?
Did you rebel and kill us all?”

I.
I am a quantum physicist,
and my name is Hamilton Kerr,
I am cursed with having knowledge
of what is going to occur.
Yes, I am talking time travel,
see I worked on a DARPA-team,
our job: to foresee the future,
a strategists ultimate dream.
We were considered long-shots,
given little chance to succeed,
spent three years in obscurity,
with vibrating strings we did weave.
But out

My Saviors
I had a pad that was not vinyl clad
sad to say it was bad , would drive you mad
sold it in an ad for just a tad to some young lad
I was a dad, poorly clad, never felt glad
life was a fad, a four year grad, lost what I had
roamed like a nomad, pocket of

Heaven Wake There Rebirth In the Saviors Arms
HEAVEN WAKE THERE REBIRTH IN THE SAVIORS ARMS
Take me closer to heaven
When I'm wake
Allow me to live forever there
And not be sleep
Awake me in the morn
For I'll be reborn
Huddle in the breast of my Saviors arms

Mercy Our Saviors Birthday Coming
Prayers for this world said
they stand in honor of peace
as war looms ugly terror invades
twisted darkness plots and schemes
Turning it's back on love thy neighbor
godless afflictions of the deceivers tongue
my heart bleeds watching such evil deeds
them carried out calling God is one curse
In the abominations of what is done

When Saviors Sleep
Strength dwells unmeasured,
A symphony's hibernation,
A clandestine god of the will.
Awakened out of silenced slumber to humanities deepest breath.
As the baton rises, commanding a crescendo for such a time as this...
IN CHAOS ---
Pandemonium impales upon former unwavering tenor
With demands to become impenetrable stone
An immovable anchor
An army though alone
A force to be reckoned with
Inner strength
When

Social Service Saviors
on line for 8 long hours
nervous and at a loss
how are their logistics organized?
what madman could be the boss?
they call my name, and I arise
"Sit Down!-Nevermind!" they bark
much to my surprise
my case manager's furrowed brow
gives clue to how he does feel
something's amiss in social service land
we're here to apply for benefits
we're not here to steal
I've
