my mouth salivated upon sight of the delectable cream puff
I could almost taste the frothy sweet fillings and the flaky crusts
let us be alone I told the rest of them picking up a spoon

Premium MemberVictory and Defeat

Victory and defeat
have the same end -
they pass away.
Bitterness dissolves
as does the sweet taste
salivated in a triumphant win.
Joy shares the same mystery
with suffering when
confronted by a why.
Civilizations come and go -
kings, queens and politicians
become powder in the crevices
of time. Be kind -
all is a brief dream
playing out in the eternal
slumbers of the Divine.

Premium MemberFor Whom the Jelly Rolls

My tummy rebelled today
  Saying, 'No more dessert; no way'

    My eyes bugged out
    My tongue salivated

  Hours of frustration awaited ...

Revolution

beside the dirty wall there was a shadow,
the signs painted by some graffiti artist
made even less sense in the dark.
lying on the damp floor was the skinny dog.
stare into my bird's eye.
it seemed to say get out,
this hell is mine alone.
so I threw a piece of bread
that I had in my beak.
he salivated and snapped.
the next step was a caress with my wing.
was conquered.
so we made this kind of alliance.
now he follows me around town.
two savages without destiny.
but soon we will be three,
for the skittish cat meowed at us.
sure we will form legion,
let's occupy that hole in the hill,
coming down when hunger strikes,
then we will attack all the buffets,
scandalize the bourgeois,
co-opt the cockatiels,
the turtles and the badgers,
time to attack in pack,
this land will be ours again.

Premium MemberTaco Pizza Sold At Gas Station

Tasty newcomer, taco pizza is found only one place in our town
Once discovered, many of our teenagers ran there on Friday nights
Their tag-along-younger-brothers-and-sisters watched the cooks
Through a pass through window, which had them exaggerating efforts

We could smell them before they came out of the oven
Golden brown and piping hot. The cooks sprinkled them with cheeses,
And bits of freshly cut lettuce, tomatoes, and we salivated, waiting
Like dogs who had not been fed from Monday to Thursday

Our town is small; we were lucky to get one pizza parlor; we had two.
They both closed their doors, because the teens stopped going
They could not compete with the prizes at the gas station,
Which was also the only place we could purchase a taco pizza.

Premium MemberOoh You'Re My Lovely Love

First I saw you from afar;
My eyes burnt from your beauty;
Your imaged blazon like a star;
Within the blacken sight I choose thee;

You stood out so bless;
My heart beaten fast;
My eyes dilated;
My mouth salivated;

So a sweet chocolate delight;
Such a warm and sweet sugar you could be my wife;
Your love, lovely love, ooh oom I could just taste it!

Premium MemberWe Are Freed--

"Stop! I come before you in earnest heed
I stand before you assault I plead
I have forgiven you for your misdeeds
You are, I am, we are freed,
~Go before those who hate
Those pontus ones who think they looks great
You're selfish you abolish
You are, I am, we are free"
...And all I wanna be
Is in your grace
No longer slapped in the face
~Nay sayers
Keep your salivated spit in your mouth
Hypocrite
You are, I am, we are freed"

Premium MemberTime Out

There was a sheriff, mayor, and Marshall.
Lots of saloons, pleasure rooms, and corrals.
Ladies of ill repute, and coward men
who feared the dreadful 'Cowboys' back then.

Lots of gambling, plenty of alcohol.
This western town had live stage-shows for all.
Tombstone had it all except a pastor.
I became the pastor who brought order.
I, Pastor Paul, prevented a gunfight.
Violence never made anything right. Tombstone was not a place to raise a child
in that ragging territory gone wild.
Dreams of fortune salivated the air.
With selfless ideas, I came to share.

By God Trump Was Called

By God Trump Was Called

By God Trump for President was called;
God would put it  off and surely stalled;
Same old story;
Incriminatory;
With Trump's hot sins we were scalded.

Could tell by Trump's tempestious style;
For him wanted to make us walk a mile;
Trump a tortoise,
With rigor mortis;
For a camel who he did want to defile.

We were baffled by Trump's  many blunders;
Born with bone spurs never 90 day wonders;
Food  at  commisary,
Did cause dysentary;
He caused terrible spells we had been under.

With Trump's health he had a horrible time;
He had created missing links in each chime;
Me  release,
From police;
Committed crime when his ladder did climb.

Problems with Trump could be contributed,
To shady deals and not equally distributed;
So had salivated,
While we waited;
Nothing at all to church had he contributed.

Now that we are perturbed and preplexed,
What do you think Trump tried to do next;
Lack of full deck;
Complete wreck;
With him as President became very vexed.

Thirst Highly Elevated With Others

Thirst Highly Elevated With Others

My thirst had become  highly elevated;
Flow ceased  and I no longer salivated;
Oh why not;
Thirst got caught;
Drank case of coke God for me created.

Will be preying for Charleston train
collision survirors.

Alma Mater

where is my common denominator
vindicated solemn alma mater
the isolator reason is confiscated
coming on something major
disbursed and allocated
validated the troubles are agitated
violated im humble yet amputated
partly i waited, my terror was salivated
complicated paired efficiency allocative
my dreaming is killing me rot
screaming and thinking of stop
its hurting believe it or not
scorpions relieving the spot
what am I
pushing a heavy relevance
gushing all this emotion
danger my favorite element
lusty and thirsty decadent
wasnt my final precedent
cursing a current president
distracted from painful residence
i know thats no excuse
ignored  forms of abuse
maybe i was just used
where was i confused

Imprints

Abandoned dreams
are standing
neatly stacked
in the drawer

through darkness
accompanied by light
snakes slithered
and
by their stomach salivated all hope

leave them asleep

abandoned dreams are
calmly waiting
hands
to abuse them.

I Have Eaten of Love

Love set her table
before me
A tasty meal i
presumed to be
My heart salivated,
anxious
to taste loves
delicacy, delicious
I had heard it was
I was yet to see if
true or false

Soup served with
drink
sweet aroma dancing
in the air
bright drink giving
an inviting stare
I tasted and lo!
So sweet was the
food
and the drink was as
good

But behind the taste
was more of fire
than of salt
the soup was pepper
hot
and the drink a
flaming ginger
and the meat
scratching fingers
My heart danced to
the rhythm of pain
tears flowed like
rain
Of which i drank for
desert

Worth of An Icon

(For late Mrs Stella Obasanjo)

You are a paragon of beauty
Yes, a maiden of honour
Your steps are held true
In limelight of media

Your translucent fair skin
Held many an eye
Your strawberry-coloured lips
Captivated, salivated many hearts

An icon of substance
Of the Abebe breed
The worth of your simplicity?
In Aso villa lives.

You are a paragon of beauty
Yes, a maiden of honour...

The stronghold of that rock
The mother of all
Mother of few
The eyes of one,
All have eyes.

Tick-tock, tock-tick;
Your clock tocked at sixty
Sixty awesome years
Beautiful, inspiring ones

...your steps are held true
In limelight of nations.

One final TOCK shook Nigeria
Green-white-green
Lay still on the floor
Sixty seconds flat
Sixty awesome years

Dragging nothingness to your grave
O fair lady brave
Nothing did you crave
So much as perfect beauty.

Yes, a paragon of beauty
Truly a maiden of honour
Your steps are idolised
Sweet Obasanjo’s bride...
