When lilly kisses rose
and lilly I did know
and trees I thought
grew very deep
and lived
within the forest.
And green
the hay is sweet
and brown
dry moss cries
why.
And lillies white
remind the sky
blue cotton
clouds they swirl.
There grew the two.
so dear
most thought.
Short breath
two centered
scents.
And how
before
them both
I stood
once near
their hearts
too far.
And when
I know
how
roses grow
and pressed
so hard
was I.
And cups
of milk
I loaned to
them
cinnamon
and spice.
Sugar sweets
they made
from them
and
now to know
both why.
While
lilly bridged
sweet roses
bank as
water rushes
by.
if
love
be
this
white cloud
rose
that
open
and
close
i
shall
cleave
thy
heart
for
thee
this
white
cloud rose
By Poet "Great memories are the best kind to have but some memories bring a waterfall of tears."
all little girls like to play dress up
mom had great hats, bags and pearls
her pretty white pearl necklace was long
around my neck
hitting my knees
her floppy hats were very colorful
the big red one almost covered my face
bringing out my pink rose blush tiny cheeks
I loved her big colorful bags
some with straps some with metal chains
playing for hours made me all grown up
at the time I did not know value
of this costume pretty white pearl necklace
a few dollars when new
years later I found them
new she only paid a few dollars
now all these years later I found them
where she left them sitting in an old box
the precious jewels I played with for hours
now with meaning more than if they were real pearls
In halls where silence cloaked the dread,
You raised a voice, though fear had spread.
With leaflets fluttering like doves in flight,
You lit a candle in the night.
Not with guns, nor iron might,
But truth and courage, fierce and bright.
A rose in winter, pure and still,
Defying hate with steadfast will.
Your words, like whispers through the air,
Asked hearts to feel, to act, to care.
Against a storm of brutal lies,
You stood with clear and open eyes.
Though gallows claimed your final breath,
You did not bow, not even in death.
Your petals fell, but not in vain—
They bloom where conscience dares remain.
White Rose of Germany, proud and free,
You taught what strength and soul must be.
A bloom of hope in darkest hour—
Forever grace, forever power.
"Something with inner beauty will
live forever, like the scent of a rose."

While walking in the forest I came upon wild roses growing,
they were in a variety of colors red, white, yellow, and purplish;
their stems so prickly but their petals a fulcrum of lovely scents,
O, there was a sweetness in every folded petal.
Each scent unique, the heart of the rose, the foundation, center;
the petal glistens, glimmers, sending its scent into the air.
Within me the heart of the rose is my soul, beautiful and sweet,
people tell me I am beautiful but it is the outside that they see;
it is what lies within shining through, it is kindness, and gentleness,
O, it is the sweetness to every person met in life.
This kind of beauty is like a saturated wild rose growing,
to be touched, loved, admired, and told you smell so good.
And when I turned... she had walked away
Searching the multitudes,, beyond the garden gate
A beam of heavenly light lit her face
As she bent over to smell the wafting scent
Of one white rose of love
Grief never leaves you; memories keep loved ones close to your heart .
Quote by poet.
John and his young wife Maria had been apart for a year now,
but every week he'd drive across town just to speak with her.
On the passenger seat was a white rose, Maria’s favourite flower.
Their garden was adorned with them; they resembled a carpet of snow,
and in a gentle breeze in summertime you could smell their sweet scent.
He passed the sandy beach and remembered the walks they used to do,
and the time when he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him.
She answered straight away, and tears of joy streamed down her face.
He'd always tear up when he remembered when she said "Yes, yes, yes".
That was three years ago but now it seemed like it was only yesterday.
They'd often talk of starting a family and were in the process of moving
to a bigger house, but sadly it wasn't to be, and John decided to stay.
He slowed down and drove down the fir tree lined avenue and parked up.
Then he got out and picking up the rose placed it carefully on her headstone.
Feet on land
Heart in clouds
Head lost in memories
I play tunes of regrets on my saxophone
And the nectar of love remains a craving
Pleas sent to the skies for an immortal existence
Laden with the warm gaze of my muse
As he shall play for me, songs meant to wake me up
From the slumber that he imposed upon me
Feet on land
Heart in clouds
Head dancing between the two worlds
Imagination and reality play dangerously
Games meant for lovers solely
A white rose,
I seek to be tainted red
Coloured with hues of passion
So deep that their stories shall be recounted of in secret!
ecstatic midst them
ballet beauties white roses
summer snow in june
A rose as it grows has no cute little nose
Has no voice that can drive a man wild
Has no eyes to ensnare any man who looks there
Has no cheeks that might flush if he smiled
No saunter, no wiggle, no fun little giggle
No sharp and intelligent mind
No power to make any timid man wriggle
No humour, no shapely behind ;-)
No way to say yes to a white wedding dress
No way to agree to be mine
No way can a rose hold a candle to you
Though a rose can be rather divine
So a rose can coerce many men into verse
For a rose has its own beauty too
Yet a rose that you chose for your bouquet or hair
Shall take mere second billing to you
White rose blooms, a snowy heirloom,
tender flesh with a golden tinge.
‘Pon coneflower iron, with groom
‘Neath trellis, a harlequin binge.
Tender flesh, with a golden tinge,
Those pearly blossoms help her chill.
‘Neath trellis, a harlequin binge.
Her Summer buds, dressed to thrill.
Those pearly blossoms help her chill.
‘Pon coneflower iron, with groom,
Her Summer buds, dressed to thrill.
White rose blooms, a snowy heirloom.
One White Rose
I place a white rose at the edge of eternity
with emerald wisps and baby breath dreams
as I gaze into your hazel eyes
I take a breath of eternity
Come come with me now take my hand
through misty rain
we'll dance a dance of honesty
and live anew each day
we'll run an endless mile of hope
and build a bridge of dreams
I love my sweet love
You mean everything to me..

Etched glass surrounds a vase of antiquity
with purple crystal shards and golden emerald trees
Placed in a loving pose
One white rose of harmony
softy sways to and fro
In a loving mystery
I love my sweet love
You mean everything to me

The white roses that stemmed in her heart blossomed in her eyes
I give you a white rose,
Because my intentions are as pure.
I give you a white rose,
Because your heart is as innocent.
I give you a white rose,
Because I am at peace when with you.
I give you a white rose,
Because no matter what you have been through....
You are still as beautiful.
In the Eyes of a Lover:
A crimson bloom, soft as a sigh,
A whispered vow that will not die.
Each petal holds the warmth of you,
A kiss in red, in velvet hue.
In the Eyes of a Friend:
Golden roses, bright and true,
A bond unshaken, ever new.
Through thorns and storms, they stand so tall,
A love that never fears the fall.
In the Eyes of Celebration:
White roses grace the joyful air,
Marking moments rich and rare.
Wrapped in laughter, light, and cheer,
A fragrant wish for those held dear.
In the Eyes of the Soul:
A single bloom in morning’s glow,
A silent prayer the heart may know.
Its petals fold, then rise again,
A sign of life that never ends.
