Reviving Greatness

With fiery resolve, we stand our ground
Together we’ll rise, in unity, profound

Premium Member Help Me Reviving The Dreams

The Dreams…
That human beings pursue Freedom and Happiness
That men share all of Mother Nature’s resources
That all religions and faiths practice Compassion
That land and sea disregard the boundaries
That men’s skins recoat in the Blue Earth’s color
That we can tell alien visitors: We are Earthman!

Premium Member Following Arrows Backwards

Back I go retracing steps.
Against the tide I must tread,
Following the arrows down in reverse.
Each arrow head points back to moments gone,
To a time before the dawn of days past.

The footprints I must retread
Lead backwards on the path trod.
Heel to toe carefully placed in reverse,
To echo the way I felt at each step.
To unravel the memories woven.

Rewinding your life's design,
Sopping up past tears you shed,
Muting the cries with rags and sound proofing,
Pulling back from embraces hugs and kisses.
Is the toughest part of these retraces.

With each step, a tale unfurls,
Of joys and sorrows retold,
Where songs I knew, old and new are unsung.
I walk through gardens which were once in bloom,
Where flowers long since withered, met their doom,

This journey back to the past,
Rejigs it, to could have been!

Premium Member Reviving Words

Bringing life to the written word
Such a paradox it may be
Can I use tricks to chase the world?
Bringing life to the written word
a path from despair to buzzword
It will make your soul sing with glee
Bringing life to the written word
Such a paradox it may be

Beauty Reviving

Always surviving
His Glory remaining
Always explaining
My life map
Left intact
In order to show
On where we must go
Respect of his pearl
He gifted this little girl
He saw that I kept
Never allowed me to forget
For he said with answer
Beyond your wonders
Your heart shall shine
It pierced through time
Heard your prayers
For this I answered
I give thanks to your wonder
On which you pondered
Respect given to your Elders
Honored your Mother
Created her heart-shaped feathers
Our Father love recalls
You have honored us all

Reviving Refreshments At Week's End

smiling
so glad to be home
sixteen hours on my feet straight
no breaks....no air....no water
you kiss me home

laughing
so glad to see you
eighty-six hours total just completed
no days off....hardly any sleep....nowhere near enough time
i kiss you home

exhaling
two weeks until major trip number two
taken away by the instantaneous imagery
no preparing....no alarm clock....no rushing
we kiss each other home

Premium Member Fog Reviving

Awaking to painful swollen hands, feet, and legs
Thoughts fill head of what to prepare for breakfast_some eggs?

Go to prepare me some coffee to sit on porch
Just few minutes to linger in God's love before sun scorch

Wonderful foggy morn glad I am not driving
Thick fog could cut with knife for me fog reviving

A golden sun sends beams radiating through fog
Doves coo for a long while other birds chip_no crickets_frogs

Slowly reality sets in my morn begins
Some breakfast has to be prepared life's tasks start once again

Thank you for a time on the porch of peace quiet
To jot down few thoughts before the days noise unquiet

Something called poulter's measure
12/14 syllables per line in rhyming couplets
Inspired by Francine's contest not an entry
