Blessed Be the Restorer of His Saints

Blessed be the Lord God Almighty,
Who delivereth His generals from the snares of the enemy.

In their great fall, He forsook them not,
But upheld them with His hand and called them once more.
He is the Shepherd who leaves not His own,
The Watchman who allows no harm to overtake His chosen.

Blessed be His Word;
Wise are all His precepts.

O marvelous King, full of mercy and power,
Thou rememberest the fallen and restorest the righteous.

For though the righteous fall, yet shall they rise again,
Because Thy love endureth forever.

Thank Thee, O Lord, for Thy everlasting kindness.
All glory be unto Thee
Who was, and is to come.
Amen.

Premium MemberIncarnation

Having been so long untouched,
I’d become a child beyond touch
and unclean.

So, when suffocatingly
roused from a nightmare of death
to unbreathable silence
in an oxygen tent, I cried

afraid of dying alone.

From somewhere
        (outside of all darkness)
you appeared
	(starched-pinafored and perfumed
	 a student nurse working nights
	 after classes)
bringer of light
restorer of air
redeemer.

At your spell, cool air whispered
around us, and you held me
despite my uncleanness
	(and I felt
		your heart
			       beating).

My tears eased a path for breath,
your fingers gentled my face,
and I fell back into sleep
at peace.

I have forgotten your name
but I remember your touch
and the silver nitrate stain
on your hand, a sky blue.

If I believe in Mercy
it’s only because of this:

You fearlessly touched one
whom others would not
and if God has a face
it is yours.

Premium MemberIn pure solitude, where the wilderness stretches

In pure solitude, where the wilderness stretches,
I find myself without the burden of worldly duties, just me and my thoughts,
Whispers rising like mist from a tranquil lake at dawn,
The intimate sources of the soul reveal their deep calling,
My response intertwines with the lives surrounding me, understanding,
That the earth is the great connector of existences, source and destination,
It, the healer and restorer, bringer of life from death,
Where illness turns into health, and old age into youth.
In this eternal dance of renewal, I feel part of a whole,
Listening to the stones as they tell their story in deep silence,
How the wind carries my memories on its unseen wings,
Every blade of grass sings the hymn of rebirth under the vast sky,
In this flow of endless thoughts, I contemplate the miracle of nature,
Which becomes my home and altar, and I, a silent witness,
Find my place in the cosmic symphony, losing and finding myself,
At the same time, part of the uninterrupted miracle of life.

First Love

You are my first love
my eternal Father and husband
whose love for me is as endless
the depths of the blue holes
and will never fade from me
into the trade winds

You are my first love
my eternal provider and comforter
whose presence I find my joy and delight
and the supplier
of all my heart's desires
whose lips are seasoned with grace

You are my first love
my eternal lover and king
always wooing me into your arms
the only occupant
of the throne in my heart
unwilling to settle for
being the footstool

You are my first love
my eternal protector and healer
who is the restorer
of my strength
the house of refuge
from my enemies
and the lifeguard from
my sea of inequities

Life Is An Adventure

Down long lonesome roads of life, I traveled
only resting when I've grown weak and weary
or stumbling on memory lanes, pea graveled
that cause my mournful eyes to become teary.

My life is a library of memorable adventures.
I look back on those that brought me sorrows,
notwithstanding the rough and rocky ventures,
I’ve always looked forward to brighter morrows.

Courage always serves me as a faith restorer.
Then I'm off on another journey in which I pretend
that I'm a brave adventurist, a vagabond explorer,
hoping to discover serenity around the next bend.

Life offers us many of those up-and-down times,
but I have reached the crest of the highest hills --
sat there, meditated, and wrote poetic rhymes,
about sorrow's depth and how happiness fulfills.

I've learned how to be both malleable and shrewd,
relying on my senses and what nature will provide.
Life can be felicitous, and if I have the right attitude
I will accept my optimism to be a trusted guide.

Premium MemberA Lilac Scented Breeze

The warm breath of Spring entered my dream as a lilac-scented breeze. And I awoke to a world of green, painted by the hand of a warm splendiferous sun. Color gets stealthily applied to the scene as daffodils, crocuses, and tulips suddenly begin popping out of the ground simultaneously. The sound of a Robin Redbreast serenading me from the limb of its favorite tree casts a spell on my lips that conjures a smile. Spring is the restorer of life, the architect of renewal, and the Hope of tomorrow. I love Her flamboyant style and gentle, refreshing touch. That is why Spring is my most favorite season of them all.

songbirds welcome spring
a season tethered to life...
green gowns suit her well

Premium MemberUnzip My Heart

Unzip my Heart
Could someone come and unzip my heart
And repair the many broken parts
The wheels that are no longer turning
Are missing the flame that's stopped burning.

I had a love that became sorrow
Once I knew our love had no morrow
My love still lingers, sad tears I weep
For the dream that’d render life complete.

Life danced along in harmonic bliss
I gave him my heart, he gave me his
It was passionate, fascination
We’d judged it would last life’s duration.

Came the day the liaison crumbled.
Rainbows tumbled and heaven rumbled
Something was wrong that neither could fix
And love flew off in a veil of mist.

So please do come along if you can
A heart restorer, woman or man
Maybe one day I’ll find my true love
When my heart’s mended and zipped back up.

A Father To the Fatherless

My shelter from the storm
My Fountain in the wilderness
My Refuge and my Rock

High King of love, God of all grace
You have become my hiding place

My ever faithful God
A Lover to the loveless
Defender of the weak
The Healer of all brokenness
Restorer of my dreams

High King of love, God of all grace
My Comfort and my Peace
My Substitute, my Sacrifice

My perfect, spotless Lamb
You have become all in all
My risen Lord, my Gift of life
My Saviour and my Friend

High King of love, God of all grace
Perfect in power, and strong to save
You're my God, my Glory

You have become my righteousness
A humble Father to the motherless
A kind Father to the fatherless
You're my saviour, unchangeable Father.

Eulogy To God

EULOGY TO GOD

The immortal Yahwah
The king of israel
The lamb of God
Ever living son of God
You are the first born of the dead
The bread of life
My solicitor in the law court
The good shapherd
King of glory
The spirit giver
The triumphnat king
The resurrection power
The prince of life
Who is the corner stone of the world.
The rod of moses
The almighty God
The rock of our salvation
You are the air that we breathe
Our helper in times of trouble
Restorer of all condition
The all powerful God
The consuming fire
The cloud behind his people
The am that I am
The shaking earthquake
The light of the world
The bright and morning star
The water of eternal life
The messiah and merciful God
The mediator, cousellor and supporter of the weak
The reflection of God's glory.
The lion of the tribe of judah.
The alpha and the Omega
The author and finishers of our faith
The wonderful counsellor
The prince of peace
The coming and ancient days
The root of David son of jesse,
The invisible God, unquestionable is your name
The immortal Yahwah, the lord of host.

Eternal

Glorious and beautiful
Omnipresent and omnipotent
Devine and loving
Opposition
Renounce
Deceiver of nations
Evil imposter
Vile and horrible
Insanity and madness
Liar from the beginning
Sent from heaven
As a man
Virtuous
Idealistic
Organised
Unselfish
Restorer of faith
The truth, way and the life
Hope and courage
Eternal and loving
Lamb of God
Omega and alpha
Restores with new life
Destroys the devils works
Justice for all
Exceedingly good
Sets free
Unconditional love
Speaks softly
Chains broken
Healer of all
Redeemer of all
Indescribable
Saves life’s
The King of Kings
