SONNET OF REMORSEFUL

Hear me, blonde tressed bonnie-lassie!
Kill me not by thine raunchy eyes.

Never could ye imprison me
By thy voluptuous coax

Thou can't get blood out of a stone
Akin to it, tranquility from my heart

I'll never get drowned to your fathomless sea of love
As I fell in love with nature

Rose, indeed, art thou be depicted by bards
Lacks they, to ponder spine thee beneath it

Trust I on a hissing snake
Than an enticing Circe

Virile juvenile may thou admire
Realize they not in thy love quagmire.

Premium Membershe seemed remorseful

she seemed remorseful
the jury declared her innocent
having no idea she had killed three other men
in three other states
under three other names
she is prepared to do it again

My Father Hates Me

I am not complaining.
Not that you would hear me
Even if I did.

But;
My father hates me.

I am not a story teller,
And I am no poet.
You can be sure of what I tell you.

Passionately,
My father hates me.

One winter night he burned my blanket
With the stub of his cigar.
He was not remorseful.

Because,
My father hates me.

One Christmas he gifted me a calendar of the previous year
Because he thought it had beautiful flowers.
To this day I appreciate it.

But it changes not that
My father hates me.

One day when I turned eighteen
He thought I was old enough
So he chased me from home.

What father?
My father hates me.

Regardless,
He says his love for me is beyond words.
I know he could take a bullet for me.

But,
My father hates me.

Remorseful Wars

I don’t mind the hurt you put me through
I’ve been through the waves of emotion
Too many times and I’m through with you
Can’t stand the commotion of the ocean

I got to break free and let go
I got to do it for your sake alone
Collect my tears in your jar
I’ve been down this road before

How far is your love from me?
How far is your love, my darling?

Thoughts Like These

I remember when you had more time
to spend on worrying about me
One day, you told me you were tired
Tired of waiting for me to come back to life.
After you left,
I had never felt so alone.
Although, I can’t really blame you at all.
It took me this long to realize
that we all have thoughts like these, once in a while.

The last time we spoke,
you asked me, “What the hell is the matter?”
I told you, “I was bitten by a vampire”.
“That explains a lot,
You’ve been dead to me, for quite a while”

I can’t say, I blame you
I would have walked away, too.
There’s a place, where people like me belong
So long as I am there,
you won’t be bothered by me.
It took me this long to realize
that we all have thoughts like these, once in a while.

Remorseful I Grieve

I was there for the sweet spots,
  you for all other times

I basked in its glory,
while your sun cast the shine

I avoided attachment,
  as you rooted our tree

And in sorrowful guilt
 —remorseful I grieve

Remorseful Delight

When God at first made man,
With adjustment of variant plan.
"O Come " said he,beyond the orb.
That all creativity be not fall.

Then he summoned the dust,
For an improptu gathering of trust.
"Soil,by my palm arise",he' said.
AnD in succession gAve a token of his
breath.

Now the breath he gave had been rent:
Some for his glory, some make him wept.
"Shouldn't i have given him my breath" he
remonstrated:
For few regard but many disregarded.

Then he looked awhile toward the fulfilment
of his plan:
'2 minutes to his return',he heave a sigh.

A Remorseful Life

Thorns piercing through my heart while it's burning. Vines flowing out of my soul, and I look to the sky. Hallelujah, I'm alive. Hallelujah I'm whole.

Smoke of cigarettes flame out into the open. Feelings of charm and warmth pass across my lungs. I see twelve or more dwarfs marching in rows. One of them stepped on my toes.

Planes flying into the fog, and women being rapped in the alleys. The life we lead are lies, planned out like puppets from another dimension.

Time can't save us. We save time to save us. The sun goes down, and everything is quiet. Birds chirping, and the wind blowing white snowflakes onto my face.

Walking passed the church. Blood on White. Everything's a fight. We rise to the golden gates and we look upon the spirits.

The leaders and missions fail. It's not the end of this tale, when soon there will be more blood shed. Anger and hatred have no room. Live the life you are born to lead, or you will just be another blood on white.

A Remorseful Queen

Blessed is the lamb led to the slaughter
      -Eager smiles, cold visage
-I give truth to your mirage
      -You have a golden ticket
-You have a chance to make your way
-A windowless room, I leave you there to pray
Worker ant is disposable
      -The doors are fastened shut
      -A lock you'll never cut
-The queen reeks of profit margins
      -The triangle is ablaze
      -Your endless numbered days
Surrender your huddled masses yearning to breathe free
      -Give me your tired
      -Perishable by fire
-Illiterates can’t read the fine print
      -Give me your poor
      -too dead to keep score

And I will pretend
The queen who is my friend
Had no idea why the front doors were locked
And the room had no windows

And I will defend
To uncertain ends
There but for the grace of God goes Me
In empathy for the worker, and the queen

Remorseful

My regrets
Haunting me
Burning so deep
Tears cannot heal me.

Unfair
For him
My tourniquet
Please save me.
