crawling words
slithering
waiting for something
questions without answers
in the zone of twilight rerror
Oh No!
erring inhumanly
gaslighting
becoming gas
volcanic eruption
savage rays
in the breezy trees
insanely iconic
epic hunt
beyond reason
a dangerous game
a masked requiem for a virulent era
a robotic rumination
fleeing...
raging rubble
deliverance...?

Florida recycles Summer heat,
a slower version of a hot beat;
Fall’s still smoking;
Leaves crack and dull to brown
skipping the colors of Autumn;
Southern sky’s daunting;
September’s a soft shadow
with hollowed flames to follow;
Serotonin’s falling;
Freckled skin still a bit warm,
season has no time to transform;
Sunburn’s resurfacing.

Later this month I'll be seventy-three.
Thus this gift of longevity.
I seldom feel old and am told I don't look it
but that one-way ticket, I have pre-booked it.
The fear of dying doesn't rattle me, only if it comes
with suffering and misery.
Most people would prefer to just "go" in their
sleep, while they peacefully lay there counting some sheep,
or in the arms of someone that they love when the angels
descend to take them above.
From ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
I'll be taking all body parts, even those that show rust..
It's up to God to recycle me so please release my ashes
under a strong oak tree.

. Christmas cheer
Presents unwrapped
on floor,
lying askew
as Christmas tree blinks
Silver, gold,
red, green
promises,
laughter.
What of those
with no tree
a gift of worn shoes,
old doll, recycled dress.
care,
and share Christmas day.

The grown-ups did not feel, we thought,
We, students, never with them fought;
We recycled wastes, yet,
Out of these got cribs set;
We have, truly, a new fact taught...!

Percolating, who we, I’m just relating
Relaying the conveying of alarming apex
Son’s getting hotter, sending flares, scorching heirs
The roof is on fire, but folks serving gas in meme
Unleaded or maybe I’m just fed up in believing the lies
Telling me mines don’t matter, from cats living fatter
Digging deeper than the greeting of slaps of five
Laid down a line, reverberating sublime, wind chimes
Chasing dog-gone familiars to frailty in comforting confines
Same ole, same old, just ain’t that old, as far as we go
No more, I know more, looking at a latch off unlocked doors
Mirrors from ceiling to floors, stylishly prefaced or just pre-fab
Looking glass, shatters from just one blinking, 2b thinking in turn
Thoughts never random, so I hand them pieces of rind to define
Seasoned for taste, or just aroma, smelling like wake up all baked up
Reeling off feelings, fleeting yesterdays, recalled to question or lesson
All in the daze, our revolution could never just be a faze, even nowadays
So watch out and peep the come around in what’s happening again…..

TIME issues:
1. Whenever I am short on time, I eat my watch, and always have seconds to spare.
2. Why do I still buy old clocks and collectible watches in a cellphone age? I love keeping time.

She sent a pair of floral plaques,
to me, and pretty though they were,
I wasn't thrilled at all because
they were the ones I'd sent to her...

She recycled the flowers as they lay in their beds.
She recycled the gown in which she once wed.
She recycled her food so that others were fed.
She recycled her tires once they lost their tread.
She recycled those thoughts that were stuck in her head
and she wove them in words as they rapidly spread.
They tore thru tendons and sank in sinews, forming a
tincture of rhythm and blues.

I slept: upon my side, the dreams that came were of you so far away.
I wept: two tiny tears rose from my eye, passed warm across my nose and snaked coldly to my other eye, till on the fresh linen they softly lay.
I swept: them into an airtight box concealed beneath my pillow - where
I kept: them - and on a nearby sign I wrote " To passers-by- if you are looking to revive your spirit - please drink your fill, but you must
Accept: that one contains the beautiful memories of a love so strong - and the other is full of sorrow and pain - the two are
Clept: Happiness and Sadness and must be drunk together and together they will serve you well".

Recycled Dragons
Today I built a castle
with an empty cardboard box.
I built a moat around it
with books and building blocks.
Then I crawled inside and waited
for a dragon to appear
‘cause I’m a knight in shining armor!
There is nothing that I fear!
With a little imagination
and a pencil as my aide
I will slay the mighty dragon
and I will not be afraid!
All at once a ferocious dragon
by the name of “This Side Up”
blew red, hot flames right at me,
nearly burned my castle up!
So I grabbed my sword and shield
when that monster showed his face!
I seized him by his nostrils
and I started to erase!
At last I was a hero
so I tore the castle down
and threw the dragon in the box
and recycled him up town!

My heart has accepted every piece of furniture
you have brought in and hoarded, polished and stored,
for show or hidden in the attic of cerebral storage.
Cobwebs draped the entrances I walked through
without wincing, chasing extinguishing light…
gold tarnishing possibilities that I found invaluable.

Recycled News And Postings
In these days of What's app and its prevalent use...
Recycled News and postings are all too often received...
The truth of the matter is in the incessant urge to share...
The latest info and message the minute one is received...
Not to worry, all postings in social media are for long time....
Once in a while, the same news comes alive again online...
Readers are the best judges, to read, hoard or delete...
News or info to be shared is for everyone's benefits....
So keep 'em coming in, all will be better informed and entertained...
Not seeing evil does not mean evil is non-existent out there...
Not hearing evil does not mean all is good and heavenly out there...
Not doing evil does not mean we are all angelic everywhere....
Not speaking evil does not mean we should be angels on earth here....
Hence, keep 'em coming, messages, news snippets, photos or video clips....
Life in this social media age is so much interesting with all these postings...
Keep 'em coming, keep 'em coming...
