Rebekah

loudest was the music from her parties
loudest was her audacity
to come in a town
and challenge the town’s rules
stole neighbor’s dog
and sent a clear message

her degraded reputation
and unnoticed kindness
got her a tag of mad woman
never scared of bringing change
Now a role model
For women in her age

My Dearest Mabel

My dearest Mabel
was the human personification
of what her first name stood for:
"Beautiful" and "Lovable"
She was a nurturing mother
grandmother, teacher and woman of God

She was the perfect help mate
for my great grandfather
She was to him
what Eve was to Adam
what Sarah was to Abraham
what Rebekah was to Isaac
and what Ruth was to Boaz
She was the embodiment
of the virtuous women characterized
by King Solomon in Proverbs 31
and the Apostle Paul in Titus 2

Today, we honor you
as Acklins's favorite daughter
and our family's brightest star
Until that Glad Reunion Day
we bid you a sweet and pleasant sleep

Heaven Whispers Her Name

HEAVEN WHISPERS HER NAME

My days of the past
Comes to fore at last
Fulfilling desires of the heart?
The start of a known new path
Promise to keep a gem
I'll make her my emblem.
My Wisdom Sesay seasoning;
Skin glistering, voice blistering,
While I'm listening,
Whistling to the sound jingling.
Your whole thought's underneath my heart
And just like that...
We are gloriously gone,
Media world will be stun.
A journey into ourselves is on,
Voracious Voluminous appetites,
Overtly Overfeeding tonight,
Heaven whispers in my ears, thrice,
Flashing Genesis 24:15 in my eyes,
Visions sporadically visionize my Rebekah,
Televise my movie, pictures so spectacular,
Heavens whispers in my ears - Wizzy
Then my breathing becomes pacy
Though the weak night gets lazy
But reality I am facing,
My heartbeat sporadically racing,
The happiness of artificial waves,
Numb and insane in my dark caves,
Replaced by the green lights...
That bade me come over to new height,
Together in quickening of release
To leave this weary heart to easeful peace.

Beloved Bosomly Bestie

BELOVED BOSOMLY BESTIE

Swift & Sweet Salone-Titi as the Washington West Wind,
Frenzy, fearsome & fair stallion,
Your loving heart heals a battalion,
Tho a victim of veracious voluptuous vociferous bum,
But many wish they replicate you, tho different for some,
Wisdom is not only your name but your act,
You tower even far above imagination and fact,
Your tenderness is like kisses from a dear,
No better feeling I can get than having you near,
No fear in your love
Cos your cheer is enough,
I shed ink and punch screen because I miss you,
Hope my words top your cup to the full.
My DIVINEly REBEKAH & one in a millie DELPHINA,
The passion in me that burns & drips like liquid fire,
Now I'm fulfilled to call thee wifey,
Because the butter has been spread o'er the bread nicely.
Beloved bosomly bestie,
Swift & Sweet Salone-titi as the Washington West Wind.

So Shall We All Be

We the holy people,
the chosen children of God
Our glorious destiny
was graciously written long ago,
thankfully,
on the crimson cross of Calvary

We the righteous seed,
the select Elect
offspring of Adam and Eve
Our spiritual bloodline Branch
was set apart,
because we believed in God
with all our heart

We the byword people,
who have no faith in Man,
our prayers are just —
For we be the children of Abraham

From Noah to Lot,
we’ve had our vexed tears
mixed in the flood rain
Our Sarah and Rebekah barren cries,
God had not forgot ...
For we the children of the holy prophets
Alleluia rejoiced
when the Messiah came

Now His precious blood
is upon the door of our hearts
As the Holy Redeemer of every conceivable sin,
passed over our shame ...
the path to freedom came
on an Exodus caravan

As were we all,
so shall we all be
As the parents were put in bondage,
so shall the children be set free

I'M Sorry

"I'm Sorry"

Details

"Just put pen to paper and write" I told myself
But it's just not that simple
It's hard,
Then harder

There are no words to describe this emotional whirlwind erupting in the soul
Ever so delicately, but even so destructive

There are no words to describe how others feel

If only I knew
If only you knew

Everything is just so melancholy
If only I knew
Vision is so very blurry
If only you knew

I guess what I'm trying to say is...

Premium MemberThe Perfect Gift

God was never in search of perfect people to fill the Messianic line. Abraham conspired with his wife Sarah to lie, out of fear for his life.
Abraham's son Isaac conspired with his wife Rebekah to lie, out of fear for his life. Abraham's Grandson Jacob cheated his brother Esau out of his birth right.
Abraham's daughter-in-law Rebekah, taught her son Jacob how to cheat.
Rebekah's brother Laben, deceived Jacob concerning the marriage of his daughter, Rachel. Abaham's Great Grandson Judah, impregnated his daughter-in-law Tamar. Abraham's decendant Salmon, six generations later, married a prostitute. Abraham's decendant David, ten generations later, committed adultery and murder. Abraham's decendant Solomon, eleven generations later, had seven hundred wives. Abraham's decendant Jesus Christ, in the 42nd generation, was born good and perfect. God is presently in search of people who will accept the perfect gift of His son Jesus Christ. May we, through our love, share with others this greatest of all gifts. Merry Christmas.

Lovely Elementary School

Playground

Running around the playground,
Oh how I wish I could stick around.
Ouch I just fell on the ground,
Oh how I love the sound.

Science

Dissecting frogs,
Checking out different kinds of logs.
There's even jars with baby hogs,
I've even learned about different kinds of bogs.

Art

I like painting lots of flowers,
Maybe for a whole hour.
Once I even drew the Eiffel Tower,
And even a shower.

Math

Math sometimes gives me trouble,
So I go to my teacher on the double.
We work together in our own little bubble,
And she pulls me safely out of the rubble.

Fun In the Sun

Going to the creek,
Jumping off the peak.

Sitting around the campfire,
Eating s'mores and getting tired.

Going to the beaches,
And picking off leaches.

Tir Na Nog

Little people on the hill,
Dancing 'neath the moonlight.

Bid me come with them, I will,
Run and run 'til out of sight.

Tir Na Nog, Tir Na Nog,
Under every moore and bog.

Land of the young,
Of whom we've often sung.

To a land of fairies old,
To a land of dance and song.

Where I will never 'er feel cold,
Nor the night will 'er feel long.

This is a lullaby my sister, Rebekah, and I wrote together.

The Harvester

Out of the lone evening of overgrowth
I come arms laden with stalks
That have dry leaves and no fruit.
My harvest of memory is woeful
And dilapidated,
Besides history's recondite shadows
Keep tripping my speech
There are gaping holes in the past
And in the reconstruction of any vision.
One can only start anew:
The first gospel of my alterity.
Something in the harvest though
Forbids me to leave anything familiar behind.

                       ii
I had no day to harvest
The night was here before my birth
The worms ate already leaves and fruits
Yet the season calls for its ritual
And are strangers in this habitual.
I say a man must know before he can dream
But dreams like Babel came down
Against the silence of the earth
And we tongue was left no voice to cry
In the language that God would know
Was ours before the trampling of the snow.
O Rebekah, Rebekah
Wet the dry stalks with your tears,
It is the smokescreen you desire
I get more insurance if it was fire.

Premium MemberYou See the Inside of Me, Amy

My likes and dislikes you are about to read
I loathe racism and conglomerate greed

Being in the middle mix, when there's a Sandra Dee
Always promoting themselves, hey look at me

The mistreatment of family, neighbours and friends
As hopefully their intelligence bucks this trend

Our treatment of earth's gems, her animals and plants
Succumb to never as the big companies rant

But inside of me there are many things that I love
They are so close to my heart that they fit like a glove

Firstly my children, three boys and a girl
Andrew, Steven, Rebekah and Liam - they are my world

Secondly there is, my music and art
But the sounds are the first as my arts to restart

The third are the seasons of beauty I await every year
Especially the spring, when buds and fruits appear

Nature delights our vision and captures our minds
It's the reason we react, to beauty and grind

So Amy Green, the above is my say
It's basically me on any given day
