Reachable Constellations

I waver at the star teeth
of my own invention,
accreting webs of wild light
where night trades
cold for dark
sidereal heat.

I am not here for mundane marvels—
I am here to manifest my most 
daring fantasies into reachable 
constellations,

grasping at the ungraspable—
drawing unfathomables to fruition.

Searching

Searching 
Searching for a place
Where I belong
Where hope is alive
Where feelings of disappointment fade away to no longer reachable distances
The longing of belonging is in the mirror
Faith flows through the air 
The memories and dreams ringing don't stop in my ear
My heart racing whenever you are near
For you remind me of who I once was 
Before i lost myself 
Longing for love from all the wrong places
Left alone to pick up the pieces of a shattered heart that broke itself 
From accepting the unacceptable 
The longing to belong was always in the mirror  .Time stood still the moment I found myself again.
Finding  that hope  faith & love from within.

Doing Things That Are Good

Things that make us unhappy: 
Angry, sad, and miserable
These things prevent us 
From moving forward
Leaving them out of life 
Is called freedom
Happiness is reachable
If you done away with
Negative vibes
Life is beautiful
If you discard bad influences
And focus on doing things that are good.

The Blue Sea And The Field Of Greens

There are two contrasting things I see
Amazingly convey grace and beauty
That is the blue sea and the field of greens
These are two opposite mix feeling for me
The blue sea feels me danger but is necessary
For a source of living and adventure
The field of greens propose romantic chills
Meet variation of colors that meets the eyes
The field of greens gives peace abundance itself
Since its reachable and achievable per se
The blue sea is unpredictable but with a warning
The bravest is the winner who safely returned
The adventure of life is the crucial stage
While there's tranquility in the land base
No assurance of life is being safe
Though both gives a mix feeling of emotions
They are part and parcel of human life.

RESPECTFUL

It is teachable 
Yet it cannot be found 
The sequences
It is reachable 
Yet it cannot be established 
The formulation
Happiness,

Release those feelings 
As they would not be needed 
It has come
Release that pain
As it would not be endured
It has gone
Freedom,

It is productive 
Yet it cannot be used
The morals
It is constructive 
Yet it cannot be created 
The values
Happiness

Ambitious Dreams

Dream the ambitious dreams of romantic young!
Their visions of life have just begun.
Encourage their future road.
Reassure their load,
reachable
rung.
Teachable,
achievable code,
in a continuous mode
to reap rewards of what they’ve begun.

Hungry Lamb

Thorns-filled bush
Leaves are edible, yet
They aren't reachable. 
Placing the forelegs
On the slippery trunk
Slipping off
Supporting again
Slipping
Supporting
Though it took a long
Achieves its goal of
Attaining
At least 
A few leaves

The disease called shy

You have my voice that sings
My eye’s that love to see
My heart beating when it believes
My hand writing poetry of what should be
My steps walking boldly thinking of thee

My minds consumption of 
vast amounts of time 
My work that tries providing
Any attention that I can find

A victim of love
Happily and sadly am I 
I am like Samson 
Believing every lie
Being like Romeo
I’d surely die

What a substance is love
As reachable as the sky
With fears and rejection
That might cause my demise

My childish suffering
This disease called shy
Yet monotheistic my soul
Itself cries
Day after day this feeling
Will not die
Only one half of what
God says am I

What Is It Part Vi

What Is It Part VI

In dementia we only the past lies clear.
What was is reachable; what is, is ghostly.
We see the universe the same way,
Its great shimmering cloud spreads so far over space and time
We see everything as it was, not as it is;
Most of it exists for the motes in the far long ago.

So if this so diffuse, so ephemeral cloud
Has thoughts born of the lightning flashes 
Going off in the countless tiny motes within it,
Separated by great gulfs of time and space,
What manner of thoughts can they be?
Does it spend eternity wondering What It Is?

Opportunity

In the obscurity of the dismal opaque night,
across the dark landscape of formidable plight,
I need to take the ordained journey for me still left,
for I have promises waiting out there to be kept.

The whispering wind of time passes me by, and I hear
it tells me this journey has no reachable end near.
I’m lost in the wilderness far away from home empty,
feel the crumbling heart writhing in the grip of agony.
 
At the fringe of sanguinity the fleeting forlorn moment
illumines within me the inner heavenly light resplendent,
and I see the new sunrise of the splendorous dawn,
with the rays of hope radiating from the hued horizon.  

I perceive with delight the divine radiant glow 
shine on the eroding stream’s melancholic dark flow
I cross, leave behind the shadows of strife with impunity,
find the path to the sanctum of life’s desired opportunity.

Somewhere, Anywhere

Let's go somewhere really far
Not reachable by train or car
Only via plane or ship
Let's go away, let's take a trip

Just you and I without a phone
We'll leave all those type things at home
In each other's company
What happens there we'll have to see

But I predict some lovely nights
Of romance where we'll reach new heights
Of ecstasy while mindful of 
The bottom line, of which is love

To fill whatever loneliness
We each may have with soft caress
And tell each other many things
And listen to each other's dreams

And I will hold you in my arms
And whisper of your many charms
And rock you 'til you fall asleep
And kiss you softly on the cheek

And when you wake I'll be right there
Looking at your face so fair
I'll tell you that I love you, then
I'll tell it to you once again

Daywalkers

‘Yellow day dreams 
are strong like day walkers.’

Manifested in the dark with closed eyes.But is that really where they flourish? Remembered with the smell of coffee it’s like a sign for a train with a new destination.Crossing a sort of imaginary line between illogical and possible you inhale again. Breathing in everything from your restless pillow.  Now the blurry concept begins to flesh itself out into the tangible. Achievable. Reachable. The vision with the light on is much more clear. Around the corner wins are closer now than they may have appeared.  

Gold Sun amplifies
a wish caught by stars at night;
Serotonin boost.

Love Song

Your smile, like a gilded flower blooming in the spring
Bright and golden sunshine, bringing everything

To life again...

This life of mine since knowing you has never been the same
And tattoed on my very heart in love ink is your name

Your name will never fade away, it's still there burning bright
I'll call on it to comfort me on lonely, sleepless nights

I love you so, my love will last into eternity
To grasp the depth and volume, count infinity

Impossible, it's not a sum that's reachable by man
But open wide my arms and heart and in that finite span

Exists enough mirific love, the kind I have for you
Without it all my heart than does is function and make do

Forgiveness Is a Dance

Forgiveness feels like a lonely dance 
What to do when drama’s veils go down 
Hands must be dropped in repentance
To be free, only I can slip off this gown

Unforgiven I acted as an unimpeachable
I wore out the hands of others justified 
Without palms, forgiveness is reachable
Empty scarlet letters is tossed aside

Forgiveness grants a place uninhabited
Two steps back, the next step is always new
By the grace of God I’m deemed talented
He turns the fullness of shame into dew

Forgiveness is a seed receiving the light
I resist trusting soil, water, and sun 
The empty space above is where it’s right
Hiding dormant, nowhere for me to outrun

Forgiveness feels rawer than useless raging
No more a martyr's dance, just pure suffering

Mountain House

Alone with our love on a quiet retreat
In a mountain lake cabin, no one else there to greet
Reachable only by an airplane on floats
Hidden from view in a place so remote
That only one chair could be brought to the door
Together we're on it experiencing more
Sharing a moment of corporal bliss 
That started with hugging and one little kiss
My hair is a handle for you to hold on
Unstyled and wild all control is now gone
While you there my dear are a porcelain doll
Held in my arms, of you I'm enthralled
The day turns to night then the night turns to day
