It Rained

It rained this morning...
but I am not surprised
myself arising a bit
on the cloudy side -- 

by the afternoon
my mind a blaze
of clear activity -- 

the sun was high
and bright -- 

to the contrary,
the day before
I arose quite chipper --

yet it rained all day
such a windy, soggy 
dripper

It rained the night I met him there.
The wind blew hard and the rain soaked my hair.

Your first touch awakened in me
A longing, a lotus

The Day It Rained Penguins

It was September 16th, 1898, the day it rained penguins.
There was a magician in town; he arrived in a hot air balloon.
Who does he think he is? We asked ourselves, but we were intrigued.

When the Sky Rained Nectar

As the scurrying clouds clashed and broke
Sparks of light cut instant pathways
Thunder stamped across the darkening sky
Like an enraged beast, violently hurt

Witnessing this accident of a collision,
The sky’s bosom heaved in suppressed pain
In her sunken eyes, tears flooded unawares 
And fell, drop by drop in deep dismay

The cacophonous wind joined in a waltz

When the Summer Rained

Hot air causes me to sweat 
Stress causes me to cry 
There’s nowhere to hide from my emotions
But I still try
Food hates me 
Weight loss deteriorates me
They ask me what’s wrong but I have no answer
Confusion and anger cloud my judgement 
I want to move forward but I have no legs

After It Rained

Soon after the sky had shed her liquid sorrow
When dark clouds quickly vanished 
It turned immaculate, spotlessly blue.
As the cosmic hiss subsided
And the wind withdrew to its unknown hideout,
There was a hush- the hush that follows,
As the priest concludes his spirited sermon.


In that quiet, when dream and life coalesced
I saw the leaves trembling in the

the raindrops  commit suicide  on the window
as if they wanted to wash the goodbye signs
with the blood of the water,

It Rained and Rained

Now politicians play word game.
Saying climate change is to blame,
Implying Nature's got it wrong
And that they were right all along.
So these great powers must impress
And claim they can cure the mess.
For they will play the salesman game 
And lie that they are not to blame.

Because It Rained I Went Out To Drink the Storm

Rained,
but it didn't become dark...
The birds fled from the sky,
the heat turned cold, the world clear
grayed out...
Me on my side of the world,
I didn't become upset...
Sans umbrella, the way I delight myself
 i opened the doors of the world
 i and went out to drink the storm...!

The Last Time it Rained

How can say 
you don’t remember
The last time 
The scent of moisture 
	Teased the scenes 

With hope from heaven falling
From the sky
Drenching as it quenches 

The dry smoldering fires
From on high

Fulfilling the desires from
Deep within the trenches 
That will bleed in the need
Of filling with rain

Mark the missed days

Rained Out

A hazelnut breeze awakens us
To another day in the show no one signed up for
From an accidental scream
Or selfish architects of love

Rained out
Silver skies that block the sun
Do others cry when the shine reappears
To break a perfect aesthetic of gloom?

Rained out
The cancellation of a party no one wanted
Light of pocket and of mind
To forever repeat

It Rained Whole Night

It rained whole night
Hurling little drops
Towards my window …………………

Alone she walks
Avoiding bed tea
On sandy lawn

Her feet,
Squeezing wet grass
Spring out water
On marks they leave.
A reflux snuff
Dries wet nose 
As water on foot mark
Disappear at once

Oh. Now I remember
Last night I came home,
Then the sky was dark

Terror Rained

The day my life went 'hatter' mad
          When carnage of the saddest sad
               Rained down hell from high above
