I was a poor hardworking shepherd boy, Everyday I carried milk for a rich, On an unfamiliar hot summer day, I quenched my thirst with water from the pond, Which was beside a banyan tree on road, I rested for a while in the tree shade, Very soon I fell into a deep slumber, Suddenly I startled by the new scene, A bright lady of celestial beauty, She carried a child of light in her arms, And she greeted me with a lovely smile, She asked me some milk for her baby, I joyfully gave her some milk for her child, Smile spread over the face of the holy baby.

oh ...
let me ...
I thirst for you
like the desert for rain
the thoughts of your warm places
dance on my tongue like tangy candy
saturating my palate and
my imagination …
I have no reward without your plea
I am pliable clay in silence
but when your need moans my name
I am made steel, unceasing …
tell me what you want -
your crave and your cry are my only cares
desire has but to trickle off your
lips to make it so,
but please, make it so ...
for I am moonstruck and madness
until I partake of the sweet, tart ambrosia
that steams and stirs
deep inside ...
you.

It has been a long wait,
Longer but reached
The battle that enemy started
Was nailed perpendicularly
With our lovely Princess!
Long, long ago!
A dream was conventional
To quench the burning stick
Nicknamed national quizzes
But resources and timing
Kicked away our fantasy
Though struggled enough
But never fought abundantly
Here came the princess
Erisinta her name
And said Dad don’t worry!
Leave the battle on me
No army is needed
I can conquer all alone
And sent the enemy far
Quash him to death
And that is what she did
A Princess of the Royal Ng’abokwa
A single-digit score,
With lower points than all,
Leveled Chibe and Chinga
Our SPS vanity
This is the real fight,
That my soul dreamed of,
Come and celebrate,
It is our culture to party,
Start mbeta all the way
The best of our tribe dances
Bigha Chimono bigha!
For if you stop dancing
Stones and sand shall!
Glorify our God,
For he has side our fight
Don’t forget the rituals
That bound us with grace
Praise the Almighty!
For His mercy and blessings
Have showered our canopy

In the murky dusk,
Holding lit candle in mom's hand,
Ease less standing by my side;
Ready to move to an unknown place,
In pursuit of job;
Held my hand, gazed;
Hugged me, kissed my head;
Dripping tears from her eyes,
Dwindled flame of candle light;
I pulled my hanky of pocket,
Wiped her wet eyes to dry,
"No mama, no mom, no more tears,
Watch the quenching light of candle,
Dwindling zeal by your wet drops;
You are the only hope of mine,
Bring smile in your face,
Bless me, spur my mind,
So I stand strong
In this jittering moment;"
Smile in mom's face, said,
"Too far, too far you go from me,
I know in this scarce employment world,
No choice,
But look for finding lively source,
But remember,
You shall be the only shore
Of my lonely life;
Visit me each time when free from work;
You are, only you,
Shall be in me, my heart and mind;
Be happy, be affluent wherever you live,
The candle light shall never be quenched,
As long as I am alive;
Shall always live for you,
And always live with you,
Even after I die;

Love drenched,
Thirst quenched,
Heart clenched.
Desire sated,
Pain abated,
Feel elated.
Tearful fears,
Yearning sears,
Love endears.

Quenched was the dryness of earth
As the pure waters fell.

Look on me and laugh aloud, the one who blends into a crowd.
Be warned that I am capable, cold dead eyes unbreakable.
Shy young boy still lives inside, afraid to raise his hand and try. My breakout role I'll play a god, my shotgun kicked, their laughter stopped.
My vengeance quenched it hit the spot, my shadow seen my body drop.
The best of me left on the wall, no pride to lose before my fall.
Forgotten, shamed and left alone, his sadness shrinks his anger grows.
The rage boils up then finally blows, restrained no more he lets it go.
Trace blood drenched footsteps through the snows, come follow me down broken roads.
But watch your step don't get too close, for he's long gone that's just his ghost.

Caught in these thorns and thistles...
Yet... Delectable and delicious is your sweet breath...
I tire as I am on fire with thoughts of you...
Do you seek me as I seek you?
Ever quickly I thirst for more...
In a dreamlike state is where I am quenched...
Only by you... I am complete...
Unraveled chains plummet to the ground...
I am saved.... I rave...
Do you claim me as I claim you?
I yearn as I learn more...
Come back... With me to my dear sweet dream...
For in my dreams... is where I am quenched...

Quenched
Whenever I’m feeling quite blah,
I will not unwind at a spa.
I pour a cold beer.
My woes disappear;
And all I can utter is…..Aaaah!

With manly desire,
my flesh calls out for her,
longing to trace her curves,
like beads of sweat,
with trembling hands,
exposing her secrets,
with fingers,
lips,
tongue…
my manly desire
evoking within me,
a blazing, fierce fire,
which can only be quenched,
by diving into her womanly waters,
deep and luxurious,
sensual and warm,
I swim the sea of her,
lighted by her love,
through the night,
then, as daylight dawns,
refreshed and renewed,
I sigh a blissful sigh,
and remain within her peace,
letting her liquid love continue to
quench my thirst,
my longing,
my desire,
my fire,
as we fall into sleep,
together,
as one.

With heart drenched in love
They served our dear land
With talents dripping
From their eyes and speech
They spilled services.
These flaming dreams
Lost in blade's thirst
Were kits of hope
And great, their deeds.
Why the slay
With daggers?
For no cause
Crack brained
Hoodlums
Why?

I could see it off in the distance
it beckoned to me, an oasis for the parched
offering honey and the sweetest wine
a promise to fill for a lifetime
the closer I get the further off it seems
a haze that dissipates in the midst
never quite able to grasp, to taste
to finally drink until I'm quenched
the vagueness, the mental imagery
disappears, eluding me
