A Simple Solution
The world is full of woe
Always has, and always will
So it’s incumbent on us
To find a way through.
A simple solution is to find a dog
Dogs generally give far more than they take
And as such are a source of solace
As well as a good example to follow.
Specifically find a pug
They were made for laps and pleasant walks
For endless hours of gentle napping
And years of bottomless giving.
The world is full of woe
It always has, and always will
But that doesn’t mean we can’t find a moat
To keep the woe at bay.
And that moat requires a team
Designed to not only survive, but thrive
Family and friends,
And at least a loyal canine or two.

Pigs are happy oinkers that don't wear wigs
Pugs on the other hand, confer
and humorously un-burr ;
One thing they got in common with pigs
they both don't smoke cigs.
and they both don't do gigs

My pug Shelby
My bossy little diva
So much personality
In such a little dog
Always up for cuddles
Ate everything in sight
Didn’t necessarily have to be food either
Answered to many names
But mostly to Chubbers
Loved to sing
Protected me from the evil stuffed toys
Loved wearing costumes
Could snore the siding off the house
My silly little clown
My pug Nitro
My quiet, cuddly, mama’s boy
Keeper of the squeaky ball
My special wheelchair pug
Nothing could slow you down
Too proud for costumes
Always by my side
Protecting me from any animal on the tv
Gassy little puggie
Farting when you bark
Snuggling up tight with Shelby and I
To protect us from the dark
The house is silent now
Doesn’t feel like a home
I miss Chubbers and Nitro
I’ll meet you both at the rainbow bridge one day
To take you with me on our next leg of our journey
Attacked by pugs! What kind of pugs?
Puppy pugs, those horrid thugs!
They think our nose and lips are dugs!
They want to eat our ugly mugs!
Their poops like slugs upon the rugs
They chase the bugs and bite the corks
Out of mugs with mighty tugs and drink the drugs
Then dance to fancy music by the Fuggs.
pugs are so cute and friendly
with their little curly tails
and their cute little flat faces
and just the way they look at you
with thier little buggly eyes
and you can feel the love to
a faithful companion
to always be by your side
and hold when you are lonely
and even if your blue
those puggy little faces
just seem to get you through
they love to be spoiled
and treated as someone
and run outside in the sunshine
and they love to play
and they are good company
to keep throuhout the day
i will hold my puggy
each and every day through
and love her for eternity
just like were suppose to do
Dig if you will a hole
Of you and I engaged in a kiss
The dirt on your nose tickles me
Can you help me
Can you dig a hole
Dream if you can a backyard
A field of yellow in bloom
Pugs strike curious poses
They feel the pressure
The pressure of a doodie in tow
How can you just leave me squatting
Alone in a backyard that's so cold…so cold!
Maybe I'm just shedding
Maybe I'm just like my father, too old
Maybe you're just like my cousin
He's always outside…he's always outside!
Why do we doodie on each other
This is what it sounds like
When pugs cry
Rub if you will my stomach
Feel how my dinner trembles inside
You've got my legs spread eagle
Don't make me bite you
Even pugs have pride
How can you just leave me squatting
Alone in a backyard that's so cold…so cold!
Maybe I'm just shedding
Maybe I'm just like my father, too old
Maybe you're just like my cousin
He's always outside…he's always outside!
Why do we doodie on each other
This is what it sounds like
When pugs cry
Ooh, ooh, ooh, baby!
This is what it sounds like
When pugs cry
