Monocrostic (Birthday of May Tonogbanua)
Inspired by the Gospel song, “Precious Lord, Take My hand,”
by Thomas A. Dorsey
Prerequisite to Peter’s leadership
On the boat, on the sea,
Jesus walks next to me.
It was calm on rough seas as Christ’s feet
tests our faith, opens eyes.
Not a ghost, no disguise.
Refrain: This your rock, O my Lord, you lead me
“Can I come, can we talk,”
I ask Him as He walks.
He says, “Come,” walk to me; wow my feet
on surface, I receive,
still the wind does perceive.
Refrain: This your rock, O my Lord, you lead me
The persist of pied waves
scared me straight, I’m not brave.
As I sink, I cry out to the Lord.
“Help me, please!” A strong grasp.
“Thank you, Lord,” as I gasp.
Refrain: This your rock, O my Lord, you lead me
Safe and sound, as we rock
in the boat; we’re His flock.
Our shepherd brought our boat straight to shore.
We’re in awe of His works.
There’s no doubt, there are perks.
Refrain: This your rock, O my Lord, you lead me
Still warm hands, unsettling.
Christ’s whipping, deafening.
Deny Him? How could I! How I weep.
He forgives readily,
As Christ loves steadily.
Refrain: This your rock, O my Lord, you lead me
In
order
to ascend,
ego must die
but are we ready
to extinguish desires
and all our aspirations
related to habits nurtured
by this body-mind apparatus,
which we deludedly assume is us?
It is clear the fault line is ignorance,
knowing not the truth of our being,
eternal love and light and bliss,
it would be prudent to pause,
shifting from head to heart,
in time stretched silence,
that thoughts rested,
our soul shines
in heart’s
core.
Infatuation the prerequisite for love
It's a bonus toward love it self
A point toward TRUE LOVE partly LUST
It's ON THE PATH OF PASSION you need
To prove your love
If not, it's your doom.
Infatuation, some say isn't true love
It should be tamed nourished
Nurtured and explored
Let it flourish
All so joyous much jubilation
Puppy love often it is uttered
Infatuation the getting
To know you daze
If one isn't cautious it may cause
Some bitterness and bruising
Yes infatuation when it expires
But TRUE LOVE? A hopeful heart's desire
There's your boon.
Infatuation into love jubilation
I placed your burden heart;
On my heavy chest;
I placed my finger, on your velvet lips;
Hushing you this I insist;
Come darling do impart;
Impart with me enthrall intervene this part;
Distance is the one that won't share love;

A woman threw away a future that was very bright.
She murdered to join a gang and that wasn't right.
Killing somebody is the prerequisite of joining that violent gang.
She took a gun to an innocent man's house and "Bang!"
She was a talented artist, people thought she'd become a Disney Animator.
But this is a very evil woman, she's meaner than an alligator.
Killing to join a gang is terrible and a very stupid thing to do.
I wish that this hadn't really happened but sadly, it's true.
She decided to take her bright future and throw it away.
She was brought to justice and is being made to pay.

Hers for home shopping
