Religious writer Kirkegaard
making a living was just too hard
so decided to philosophise
with a learned Christian treatise
if you can capture the moment
and all its salient points
remember all the details
and recollect what happened when the dust settled
in a way that’ll keep people reading
until the very last full stop
then you should try putting it down on paper
go on - be a devil - write a poem.
it doesn’t have to philosophise
materialise or realise as a treatise
all it has to do is be readable
and relatable
no need for it to be a manifesto
or capable of making flowers grow
just so long as most of the people
understand most of the words most of the time.
if something emphatically moves you
be it a wedding, death or birth
then let the experience flow right out of you
if it changed your outlook, if it were worth
go on, write it down and some
and if it’s good, handsome
don’t keep the words stuck inside
let them take you on a ride.
shine on and shout out
if it’s a word don’t ever doubt
in years to come when you look, reflect
and remember someone with deep respect
you’ll be grateful the words came out to play
and who cares if some went astray
if you’ve got it, flaunt it
and if it’s too quiet, shout it!

My eyes are a part of me
Without my eyes, I could not see.
It would be hard to philosophise
If I were blind in both eyes
Decisions would be hard to make
Others opinions I would not take
Without being able to look
At a newspaper or a book
The news is not always the truth you see
Some people with seeing eyes
Sadly survive by telling lies
The grass is greener on the other side,
So sit on the fence and watch them collide,
The geese fly south to a kinder climate,
As we philosophise to find our fate.
Many say religion shall save your soul,
And this is fine if you wish to be whole,
I'll drift into the mystery unknown,
Planting all my seeds but keep some unsown.
While reap I shall from above and below,
Never knowing truly which way to go,
Keeping my eye on the prize, so to speak,
Remain a gentle man, one of the meek.
Continue down my path till my demise,
Hoping one day I shall call myself wise.
(Ten syllables per line)
Who am I
In the mists of reputable world
That holds no guarantee to no
one
Who am I in the dunes of
flowing seas
That roars with vitality
Yet with furious waves
Washing out what it considers
weak
Who am I in the tenacious
world
That holds no qualities
I dare to ask
I dare to wonder
And I dare to understand
Where my misfortunes are
learned
As flammable agitations
I remain to hypothesise
And philosophise
I remain to remain an
individual
I am with no pleasures to
change
I am who I am because of what
I am.
COPLA VEINTICINCO : This Bad Guy World
One thing is to look for the cause
Another to suffer the effects
Ours the result
No excuse can philosophise
Turn suffering into defects
That’s an insult
Nature then cannot be perfect
No use looking up to heaven
Ours is the fault
Bad Guys misbehave and infect
World built on sweat of brethren:
Oceans of salt

Philosophical
Philosophical what does that mean?
Calm in the face of difficulties unseen
Maybe I should philosophise
Discuss in a philosophical manner, what a surprise…
Philosophy, the study of the meaning of life and knowledge on life’s outlook
Nah, not into that I’d rather read a good book
Haven’t got time to philosophise or speak philosophy
Just got time to throw some words out for you to read with me.
Feeling a little glum the weather is depressing
But does the rain really wet you, if no ones out there dressing?
Did the tree make a noise when it fell in down in the wood
Who cares I wasn’t there so it doesn’t do me any good.
Worrying about this or that if you are not around to hear it
Life’s to short my good friend lets live it a little bit
Tress may fall and rain may tumble, but life still goes on
So no more philosophy for the day, it's time I did get on
