Forest dreams as tender as a whisper
soft spoken wishes in the penumbra of night
Divinely assembled beneath a scried heaven
we live, we breathe, we follow...

The evening plants begin to respire
and the trees close up for the evening retreat.
We sit and meditate while the dusk settles in,
the candles burn surrounding us with light !
Woodland scents permeate the humid air
black orchid with notes of black truffle,
patchouli, and vanilla, rum-soaked in black.

We are never lost when we find ourselves
centered as a Buddha in the thick of light
Tibetan flutes and magical newts by the lake
each breath we take is an intake of peace
we are semi-aquatic beings in the wildlife

Forest reveries as vivid as lucid dreams of old
we stay green and pend, until we turn to gold.

Hedged In

They are under the hedge, the elderly,
the silver whiskered. Threadbare possums,
frail chipmunks. The feeble,
squeezed into narrow parts of the day.

Her apartment is hedged in.
Her telephone is a blank land line.
The television is deaf.

A groundhog comes out to gaze at the sunset,
some myopic sniffing, then shuffles back
with that stout old man rolling gait of his.

She forages in her living space,
from a window she blinks at the moon,
only yesterday it slipped from her purse.
Her hands hang soft and blue.
Pills pend under a bedroom lamp.

The hedged in
listen to the small, contained movements
of their elder days.
They will abide here
knitting the hours together
until the long forgetting.

No matter his crimes, he's

Through all the court systems and
charges that pend, and racial
slurs that should offend, Humpy's
Maga might may win in the end..

We Will Not Keep Quiet

We will never keep quiet,
Even in the middle of the jungle,
Left alone with the unknown,
We will make the unknown known
Swim in the pool of realism,
And sing the song of spasm
For we will not keep quiet.

Why will you think your dealings,
Are right and mine wrong? Why?
How you kill and give reasons,
Breaks the delicate bone of posterity,
When will my colleague cling to,
To pend the wand of the yard,
Then, let’s wake up from this,
Lazy and perfunctory sleep,
And slumber around to settle,
The settlement of the time,
For We will not keep quiet.

We shall tell the world the truth,
How you gang and mob to pull,
My whole stern body naked,
How you tame to barren my effort,
How you swerve and swear to spy
And stop me from the table’s fame
But I will not keep quiet.

We must not keep quiet,
But tell the world your dealings
Without hidden vile wry in awry
In whole and naked of the soul,
To end the strike pending,
And to rescue the generation
Yet, unborn, to avert the wrath,
Of time and queue behind time
And say things as they are,
Why we will not keep quiet.

Saving Time

Begin at the end
I need no surprise
Reaction to pend
You’ll see in my eyes
How I can contend

Backward we go
Rewind the show
The worst for last
The best so fast

Mad method
Mostly means
More minutes

Saving
Craving

Time.

Soul Point of View

I wonder how long I’ll watch you
Even though you is really me
Waiting for some light to walk through

Perhaps I’ll see something heavenly
Or return as a form upgraded
I thought I’d feel blissful and free

But I feel more akin to jaded
Like leaving your shell cast aside
Is relinquishing what I created

Where this other self chose to abide
Wondering if this begins the end
Unsure where I live, now that I’ve died

Maybe it’s yet to be, status to pend
Or in time suppose I dissipate
If time is no more for me to lend

So I’ll wait here in a hazy state
End up there or fade away here
Or if it’s not quite too late
My tangible eyes will open, before I disappear
