Premium Member Pandoras Monkey

Pandora had her a monkey;
She kept it on a short chain.
It came down with pox;
She slammed shut her box,
And hoped not to see it again.

Some bad boys who wouldn’t wear socks
Were messing with Pandora’s box.
They got down, they got funky,
They let out the monkey,
And now there are pandemic talks.

Pandoras Box

PANDORA’S BOX

A dull tarnished box was found out amongst the rubbish.
No one knew how it had got there; it could have been lost or stolen,
but an old tramp came across it.
On a cold night he found it while looking for something to eat.
He went down an alley and opened the box up.
Inside was lined with gold; in the gold a young girl’s face was reflected.
She said I’ll give you three wishes.
The tramp’s first wish was for some food, which appeared in front of him
as if by magic.
His second wish was to be happy and his mood changed in the blink of an eye.
His third wish was to be with his dead wife; in a second he was in heaven
by her side, to be in a place of love for all eternity.

PANDORAS BOX

To have the power of the gods doesn’t mean you should play God
Some things are better left the way they are; don’t wake the sleeping dog
He wanted a body evidence and dug into a murder case that murdered him
The Judge said that the case should have been left to be since the chances are slim.

The day incessantly keeps creeping into the night
The creatures of the night are tired of having surprise daylight
This is halting their business; they sought on a planned surprise attack
The day ignorantly creeped in as usual; darkness swallowed its light like a shark.

Blood is thicker than water
The ingrate bastard thought knowing his biological father could make life better
He persistently sought to know that he disregarded his ever known father
Could life be so horror? The man whose daughter he raped is his biological father.

Some things are better left undone than ever done
Man feels that concerning himself with what concerns him is never enough
He got too busy with another man’s matter; enough got more than enough
He opened the Pandora’s Box; it was far too late to blame himself for attempting.

Pandoras Box

Do you always get burned
When you play with fire?
Must you always
Extinguish your desire?

Not to open Pandora’s box
Yet gave the key for me unlock.

You cleaver fox
This box unlock.

For in its contents
I did find
Such confusion for my mind
For out come poring
Contradict emotion flowing

Knew you well
Resist could not
Not to open Pandora’s box

Gave the key
Now take it back
This temptation
I shall free
Free I shall
You from me

For swear I do
And oath forged forth
This desire
extinguish not ignite.
With water held
High in hand
Pouring onto what
Burns within.

Burns under my skin
Revealed too thin
Weakness overcome
Deliverance from.
From this cleaver fox
Custodian Pandora’s box.

Held within content
dreams of nights embrace
Filled and emptiness
Dreams of loves illusion
Lost in passion confusion
Dreams to reality
Never to make
For both to know
To much at stake.

Pandoras Lament

Presents of beauty, music, and persuasion, given to her and more.
A woman most earnestly desired, the first completely created by lore.
Now call her name of Pandora, which means “All gifted” forever.
Desired by Prometheus, but given to Epimetheus a brothers love to sever.
Only her curiosity set forth a chain that will remain until the end of never.
Remember, she was gave a jar, told not to open, for anything ever.
Alas she broke the seal, opened the jar, she felt that she was so clever.
Sending out such evil to which we may still be paying, with such a score.

Let this be a warning, to all who are gave such things, by a higher power.
Anguish and despair, will come to you, as it did her within her living hour.
Misled by her curiosity, she scurried to catch the contents she had exposed.
Eagerly she tried, but all had escaped, but one item that remained un-disposed.
Now we all must find, what she never let escape, from the jar that was gave.
Tell you what it was; you say so bold, hope for now and beyond the grave.
