No Current too Vast to outmatch the Fires of Faith
Running On Water the Mantra on this Light Crusade,
No Mountain too Steep if you truly believe
the Magic of creation shines within Everything
Your words hurt more then ice cold fists
I don't see how you could have missed
Your words of spite, I know not against me
You take it on on the ones you love
Like a boxer with a barbwire glove
The words you use hurt more then ever
I can't see why you want us together
Maybe one day you could see
I'm not good enough for you, and your words outmatch me
It hurts my heart and breaks my soul
If only someday you'd believe what I had told
I loved you the day I say your face
And I will till I am forgotten and old
Though the words you hit me with
I know I am a dolt
The words you throw in my face feels like a lightning bolt
Your words will do as much as they feel
I know the way you treat me
Is undirected, because I feel your empathy
When you throw the final punch
Aim for my heart, and try to forgive me
Once upon a time,
some ants lived happily together in their nest.
Birds, rabbits, frogs, and beetles
admired and envied their harmonic way of living.
One day, a wasp invaded their space;
it forced itself into their home,
with its dark, scary sting and body.
All the ants ran away for their lives,
except for one tiny ant - he stood
right in front of the wasp's sting!
The wasp was irritated and amazed
by this young insect's courage.
"Do you know you are no match for me?!"
the wasp scorned the young ant.
The ant was unshaken and unmoved!
"Together we can outmatch you!" the
ant shouted.
The rest of the ants felt the burning
courage from the young ant’s voice,
and rose up in arms to fight the wasp;
to fight for their home
to fight for their freedom.
The wasp’s sting was no match for thousands of ants.
He was carried and thrown into a bird’s nest,
where he became the birds’ meal.
The young ant, from then on,
became a hero. He was knighted by the Queen Ant,
and from then on he was called Sir Victor.
I first saw sensuality on her face;
Sweet, red lips, bedroom eyes,
And a smooth, flawless face.
It was the most beautiful face that I had
Ever seen; the horizon as the sun sets
Or a sky bursting with meteor showers
Couldn’t outmatch it.
Tears in my eyes was my response
To this master art; I couldn’t bear
My emotions seeing Gaia in front of me;
Her beauty revealing her infinite divinity.
