Defeating Tyranny
This is how to overthrow tyranny:
elections by a free people who care
peaceful transfer of power
alternative media outlets to counter brainwashing
decreasing the size of government
ridding a society of mandates by unelected officials
stopping demonization of average citizens
halting massive monetary corruption
short of divine intervention
this is how it is done
it is difficult~ many obstacles to freedom exist
that will try to maintain power:
a biased dishonest media
a bloated bureaucracy
an oligarchy of the defeated who want to retain power
unconstitutional judicial power
Nazi style thugs who like to commit violence
it is a tough row to hoe
no guarantees that it will work but
if enough people care it might work

I feel for the abused Chinese Korean Japanese..'
In twenty twenty, the vision was skewed altered
By some loaded news' as the bbc and itv and sky
Did the bidding, from on high.' They reported of much?
Mainly fear and death and as such.' they whipped into a frenzy
Did not comport sensibly, rather ran stories on a spitting
Causing a killing ' that claim though un-proven' fed through
The people like leven; most poision-ed.' So fellow humans
Suffered, against them curses were uttered.' Then violence
Unseemly unleashed.' Such a shame there was seen.'
I ask why such was the theme.? I hope much better is
Engendered, And should these media outlets be held?
Sequesterd.? There should be a redress.! I'm proposing
To combat false information, that should not be the least.'
Instead on truth may we feast.)
For He ministers, and will here govern precious?
(Yeshua) most welcome' He alone is the best!!

I am reporting from Normandy,
where a cheese war has started
between two hospitality business tycoons,
for acquiring the ownership of a shipload
of Brie and Comembert soft and creamy cheese,
heavily consumed popularly in their two outlets,
Wine and Cheese Tavern and Charcuterue Shack.
As the cheese ship arrived,
the owners of these dining holes tried
to negotiate the price with the Captain, but failed,
for both the parties offered increasing competitive bids.
So, the indecisive Captain suggested
they fight out the possession issue
in the cheese war, going on now for two months,
and seems not to end, for no one is winning.
The eventual owner might be getting
a shipload of rotten French delicacy.

My wallet is a good friend of mine.
It was a bifold one when I purchased it. (but now...many folds developed)
Once it used to be brown and elegant
But gradually metamorphosed and faded.
Now it looks older than I am.
It has acquired many new attributes.
Frayed at the edges, broken stitching,
Failed zippers and worn-out leather
Of course, they add antique look to it.
I have forgotten exactly when I bought it.
But I always keep it with me when I go out.
I have my own sentiments about it.
It has witnessed ups and downs in my life.
It’s an ardent follower of Shakespeare’s advice,
“Neither a borrower nor a lender be.”
Thank God! It hasn’t ever gone empty.
My pretty lady is very intelligent
When she finds my wallet with chubby cheeks,
She presents her list of interests and wants.
The young guys never bother about wallets.
With e-payments they manage at the outlets.
When I take my old companion out to pay the charges,
My kids make fun of him and say, ‘A rich man in rags.’
My wallet - My loving companion!

I get my updates on the news
From certain magazines
And papers, which are quite in sync
With how my mindset leans.
Of course, their editorials
Make so much sense to me
That I can’t understand
How anyone could disagree.
However, there are outlets
For the news which do not jibe
With my beliefs, endorsing those
To whom I don’t subscribe.
I neither read nor listen to
These views, which I oppose
And likewise, they’ve no interest
In what my side might propose.
All those preaching to the choir
Know that time and time again,
They would trade the chance of open minds
To hear one more “Amen!”

Keys of a Locked Life
quarantine questions
washy world wilts on waiting
confusion chaos
keys of locked strife life
staying inside my soul drifts
swirls in such sadness
outlets are opaque
my soul slips as a balloon
reaching my sky mind
cloudiness covers
thoughts teasing as wild wind words
they escape with rain
poetry blooms buds
twisting through time and teeth thorns
flowers for freedom
as poems grow gold
my escape is expression
for my spirit sings

Little champs! Little champs! All we are!
Free from all! Free from all! All we are!
Better not instill your gorgeous dreams
Sweeter are our own valorous dreams
Free from all! Free from all! All we are!
Stop sharing your disputes and debates
Wannabe free from all splits and straits
Free from all! Free from all! All we are!
We aren't outlets for your cold frictions
But the soft blooms without inflictions
Free from all! Free from all! All we are!
Let your concern not create constraints
Allow us to dance with no complaints
Free from all! Free from all! All we are!

Build them wider, taller
let us reach for the sky
when we run out of bird's
we'll clip angels on the fly
90,000 lb. sperm whale
wandering, searching for
his misplaced tail...
but elite global outlets will
never fail....only us commoners
stuck in the dark, our vehicles
needing, only one gear~ Park!

Glitter bear found something marvelous in the snow.
It was a find that few other bears would ever know.
It was a string of colored lights and they sure did glow.
He planted them in the woods, waiting for them to grow.
They will not do any good there an older bear said.
If you cover up the ditch, they will all end up dead.
You must take them to the cave of my brother Ned.
He will show you how to keep them lit next to your bed.
Glitter bear had never seen outlets or electricity before.
He was amazed when he saw the lit-up lights next to Ned’s door.
How do you get them to twinkle so gloriously big and bright?
To show you how gorgeous they get, you had better stay the night.

I once wrote Op-Eds for a regional daily paper
Until the new publisher thought me too liberal
He preferred to publish a sensational caper
Than alternative views, well-expressed, literal,
God forbid the public be encouraged to think
Or have the opportunity to read opposing views,
Which is primarily why many local papers stink
Filled, as they are, with advertisements and old news!
After a stint of eight years writing to a deadline,
Producing prodigious amounts of sound opinion
Although I have writing outlets and I feel fine,
The publisher has moved up to a lower dominion.

Requirements, or strictures, often stifle creativity
Thus, I tend to avoid forms with strict syllable count,
I appreciate a suggested topic, but I may not feel it,
And the message of any poem should be paramount.
Best expressed in the poet’s unique choice of phrases
Its origins are necessarily found in the poet’s psyche,
Blossoming with rhythm reads with robust originality
Prepared themes often cripple the poet’s authenticity.
The great poets of yesteryear allowed clear departures
Which accounts for the proliferation of poetry forms,
Today, our mutations of the long-accepted sonnets,
Variations on old French formats, are accepted norms.
So, none of the aforementioned are revealing secrets,
But giving credence to the diversity of poetic outlets.

Suppose I tell you all my innermost secrets
Lay my soul bear before you without fear,
Will you respect what confidence merits
Consider the trust I placed in you as dear?
Knowing I have shared with you my hurt
Suppose I tell you all my innermost secrets,
Having come to you for needed comfort
A favored friendship among all my outlets.
Nothing is so sacred as sharing our regrets,
As laying bear our most personal intimacies
Suppose I tell you all my innermost secrets
We have always conversed with such ease.
Will you think me less for unveiling my soul
Not seeking for how your mind interprets,
But wanting our comradeship to be whole
Suppose I tell you all my innermost secrets.

Just as beauty comes in all shapes and sizes,
creativity comes in many forms and outlets.
Just as beauty can be found in all places,
creativity can be found in many processes.
Just as beauty is what you see in everything,
creativity is what proves you can make just about anything.

Amber Heard's dog stepped on me
and I'm just a little biddle bee
So I stung his foot with my stinger
and gave that dog an awful ringer
Wouldn't you know my story was told
by many news outlets searching for gold
But I'm just a bee looking to be free
please don't overjudge me

No path is limited, to one mold
fits all journeys – no footsteps a
lineal trail followed or forged~our individual
universes a swirl of infinite mazes, each one
the Father and Mother of
its own invention...we evolve into
our own accidental and willed offspring....
there are no outlets...
even the runoffs, ever further
in....
