Strangers In The Night

In the dark of night at sea- 
like old ships, they pass.
One goes East, the other West;
strangers in the night.

At that moment, when they meet,
they stand equally.
Then continue on their paths-
till they pass again.

Sky gazing

the evening spreads its veil
we await the rising of the moon
~ getting ready to count stars

nightmares blooming in color
like a midnight fire
casting its embers into
tomorrow's dawning

with a blood red sun burning
into the new day
the shadows of doom refuse
to die in the Light

Half a Minute

Weighing up peace, love, and rage
wait a half-minute
you lose all the momentum
losing lines on stage

To you, I'm a fleeting breath
half a minute's worth
when you are my endless sky
casting a shadow

It's a cry for attention
it's as loud as loud can be

no histories were unveiled,
only shared glances

wind sighed through gaunt tree branches
in each other’s eyes
a shared moment, communion
of sacred journeys

Old Sins Cast Long Shadows

As the Moon rises in the east
barely showing its face above the horizon
the Penumbral Eclipse takes form
heralding the full weight of the time
a new Shadow was about to be cast over me.
Dark has cloaked my deeds up until now.
The Blood Moon enchants with its splendour
and ultimately the reflected light from the Sun 
is embraced by

With gentleness she makes no demands,
she gives her request with angelic serenity,
born with magic in her voice 
she knows she will not be denied.

does she realize or is she innocent?

you really have no choice
but to give

A warp in the fabric of time

a life so quickly passes
one blink and we can barely comprehend
~ the cycle in perpetual motion

I cross my heart and hope to die,
A childhood pact between you and I.
A sacred X, a secret sign,
Promising your heart would stay with mine.

We sealed our words with a silent grace,
A mirrored promise on each other's face.
One soul, two bodies, a perfect whole,
Bound by a truth that fed my soul.
