Had chasing salacious not sparked her curious
Outcast student wouldn’t have bothered to goad
Beguile fellow fifteen year old, sordid suggested
Accompany her on dirty double date, get stoned
Recklessly rush into raunchy actions, clueless
     Temptation harvests travesty, tender suspended

Hidden in high laughing heart, slick chimera pelt
Adrenaline aces enamour or war around the corner
Ready to frolic, fight, backpacks bulge with bravado
Lurid drunk promenade, concrete jungle hunt fauna
Onyx drawn eyes harden dark, debauchery dealt
Transfers opioids, rapid ricochet carries cruel cargo

                         30th May
                They’ll never get cold

Premium MemberStory Land

Come with me now to story Land
Come rise and fall with our dear girl.
Pinch into her fishbowl powder
And grab a hold of her world.

Spread open the doors
In her chapel of fear,
And pray with us now,
As we beg God for forgiveness.
We paint the ceiling with our tears,
In spite of all our darkness.

Child of lovely
Lizards lounging.
And woman of
Wandering opioids binding;
Our novena begins
Disregarding,
Ladies in tuck and folding.

Push blame like dope sick junkies,
And manifest dank cellars flooding.
As together we plunder our bounties
On messengers in blight and poverty.

Please extend your arm and hand
We ask this in God's name.
Weak and failing in a moment,
To be washed in blood and tears.

Premium MemberFlorida Man 3

A Florida man bought a stool.
The seat? A bit hard on the jewels…
Now he takes pills to soften,
and he sits there less often;
this Florida man is no fool!

Actual headline: "Florida Man Thought He Stole Opioids, Got Laxatives Instead"
Obviously, a stretch here... :-)

Premium MemberRoot Decay

it hurt so much that she prised out the molar in despair

with a corner post missing pain oozed from wounded flesh

one cavity exchanged for another but rawness lay bare

she tried painkillers and sedatives then settled for hash

anguish hampered her feelings and she tore at her heart

until emotional turmoil pulsated in oblivion and voids

took a few more puffs from the reefer to make a start

to clean up her act but failed and reached out for opioids

dazed in a haze it appeared to work well for a short while

she pickaxed her mind and attempted to extract the root

of disorientation sorrow and evil but her mind remained vile

confused and drugged the remedy’s effects stayed rather moot

alcohol uppers and downers magic mushrooms and cocaine

followed her on the devastating road to full blown compulsion

whatever she tried she spread bedlam and became more insane

threw the drugs in the loo and looked back in fearful repulsion

2020

Gleaming gadgets galore...
Aquarius is speaking new lore.

Drive-thru getting longer
Hunger pains growing stronger

Pleasurable engagements and easing pain on fleek
Mindless stimuli and opioids we seek

Civil unrest amid quarantine
Masks coming off, no buffers between

Loud is getting louder
Apathy growing dour

Watermelons without seeds in abundance
DNA heisting and genetic gold cumbrance

My vision is crystal clear
2020: a year of fear

Mental Health
aka Crazy

The very topic is inclusive of the word,
that haunts our every step from birth;
until our last breath.

Fear has no power except that which we give it.
Knowing that we are all passing away,
every day of our lives;
leaves us closer to the tomorrow we are putting off.
It is here and at our door,
in front of us now.

Bucket lists and things to do.
Suddenly no paper to write them down.
No items yet attained now unattainable;
changes without notice.
Hearts skip,
tests come back wrong.
It matters not at all the rhyme or reason,
only that the season has changed.

Memory fades.
Loved ones with cancer.
Victim or caregiver...
the outcome of damage reflective only
in the ultimate loss of all that dreams meant.

Bipolar, skizo, opioids and mary j...
Desperate for a normality which never actually existed.
The truth of our continuation...
a relationship with God.
As only He;
is yesterday,
today,
and forever.

Premium MemberGreed

Being motivated by greed is like being addicted to opioids
greedy people are well aware their rapacious desire for wealth
or material possessions is ultimately destructive, yet they keep
wanting more, and more, and more, and more. Aggressively
coveting especially money and power; by whatever means
necessary. They're enslaved by it. They crave it so intensely
They're unable to go into remission. Anyone who believes that
"Greed is good" has drank The Gordon Gekko Kool-Aid. Its quite
The opposite; a slow-acting poison that tastes like honey

                                   Don't be a Gekko
                              Greed, akin to addiction
                                  It is bad, not good

The Visionary

The Visionary

Some say we will never fly in cars
Yet, someday we may live on Mars.

I predict when all the icebergs melt
It was because the hot sun we felt.

And then it's not a surprise
your eyes will see the water rise.

Our food supply will begin to wane
Too many people makes it easy to explain.

And because of all that
War will come – it's a matter of fact.

Of course opioids and chemical sprays
May kill us all before that day.

Let's not forget the loss of honey bees
Goodbye flowers and fruit trees.

And too much CO2 makes it hard to breathe
Maybe Mars is the place to be.

A Current News Spawn

I found a sphinx in my backyard
And a manatee turned up dead
I raised a flag, all went to one knee
A hissing package fell on my head!

I was harassed by a baby squirrel
My turkey got doubled up tariff
DNA linked me to a cold case crime
Now I have to talk to the sheriff!

A child prodigy gets to stay
I lost at chess, so now I'm gone
My pregnant wife's hooked on opioids
My life is a current news spawn!

Unspoken Truths

Towers stabbing tall into the sky,
Broadway plays that catch the eye,
finance’s center, here it lies…
Manhattan is a city that works
(but it’s filled with loud, self-important jerks).

Sun-bathed coat and silver screens,
glitz and glamour and action scenes,
the city of lights, the city of dreams…
You should come by and stay a while
(especially if a rapist or pedophile).

Maple-tappers working in spring,
hordes of tourists gone skiing,
small, quaint towns, so relaxing…
Green Mountains, pleasant to the eye
(this is where old hippies go to die).

Coal mines fueling this great land,
hollows, moonshine, and deer stands,
a place where work makes the man…
Where you can still find an old homestead,
(just ignore the opioids and meth heads).

Monuments tall, for heroes past,
Potomac waters, well-manicured grass,
elected folk of wisdom and class…
working hard for freedom and good,
(they’d put us all in camps, if they could).

The Way of the Damned

Sisyphus pushes his rock up hill
While Atlas bears his load.
Damned by the ire of capricious gods,
Forced down a toilsome road.

And so it is with the gods of thrill
Who trap and hold you fast
With opioids and images,
Perniciously unsurpassed!

Beware the promise of wealth or skill
Contained in a bottle brown.
Hold to the rod of simple truth
Lest you be taken down!

Premium MemberIll-Fated Model

There was a young man called Alec, who always dreamed to be a top model
Front cover of reknown worldwide magazines was his most ardent desire
Modeling men fashion apparel and clothes in the most prestigious runways
Until one day, the life of the promising model changed forever in minutes

Alec tried for first time unlawful sustances to calm down stressed nerves
Destroying the brilliant career and personal life, ending in a human rag
Deambulating and sleeping in the streets, after losing his immense wealth
Finding death, after an overdosage of opioids, ending in an unknown

Premium MemberRocky Road To Success

It is so true, no pain no gain indeed
take the risk to dive into your dream
take the guts in full to grow and breed
long is the pole from the pain to the cream
one, two and many more you need to feed
but they come so red and in a hot steam
from one mile, now a step more to succeed
a hand in wave, to all, easy it’ll seem
hot in the news and many tabloids
the pain goes away with the opioids
dead from trys but a new rise from colloids
even with weak eyes, the Gold you can find
one more jump and you hit the end’s behind
now is the time for life to be kind.
