The Habitual Offender

Again you repeated the blunder,
Oh! My dear habitual offender.
Don't think much and ponder,
Avoid to stay in such thunder.
Days turns into remainder,
But failed to recognize the sender.
The lost fragrance of the lavender,
Remember him, he was a mender.
He used to be an absolute defender,
Fierce approach and said no to surrender.
He was the sole and lone pretender,
But now deprived and a neglected contender.
He never cared for any prime reminder,
Please don't treat him as a habitual offender.

My Granddad can’t stay on the straight and narrow
Robs garden centres with his bow and arrow,
Police knew his scheming
So now he is screaming
Speeding downhill in a plastic wheelbarrow

As gramps in his wheelbarrow got lots of LOLs
The river impeded his getaway goals
When used as a boat
It just wouldn’t float
Since when did those wheelbarrows have drainage holes

He dragged out the barrow as fast as he could
Expecting somehow it could do him some good
He thought it made sense
To ask Fred the Fence
“Who launders wheelbarrows in this neighbourhood?”

He sold the wheelbarrow and tried to go straight
Then Grandad found weeds all round his garden gate
“Oh for goodness sake,
I need a new rake.”
Went shopping at ten ’cause the store closed at eight

He snuck through a window by breaking the pane
And made his way through to the garden tools lane
The alarm’s manic blast
Brought police really fast
He grabbed a wheelbarrow and set off again

Sinner Or An Offender

Sinner Or an Offender

Even if a sinner or an offender,
True love is sure to be tender;
Never avoid,
And enjoyed;
God is great with His splendor.

The Sex Offender

Mr Two step in the name of fame
I regret putting a foot onto your set
I should not of accept all the abuse and lies
That came with fame
Hearing your name only makes me upset and a shame
You know when we first met
I had to bend and sweat to pay off a debt
Lord, I regret putting a foot onto your set
You believed you were a vet
You treated me like your pet
You inflicted harm and threats
You even made dirty bets
Played R/B cassettes just to get horny and wet
Mr Two Step now whose upset
These bruises and scars one could never forget
You played a vicious game of roulette
I bet you will now learn to regret
Bringing me onto your set
It's your turn to bend and sweat don't be upset
Just pray and don't fret

Relections of An Offender

Reflections of an offender,
that’s way short of Eden’s splendor,
stares back at me from the pages,
of written light for all ages.

Try as I might to make changes,
I fall short and owe the wages,
due to the inherited sin,
dwelling in all of Adam’s kin.

But reflecting Love’s true image,
is what I see in the message,
paid for by the Son's sacrifice,
to free mankind of every vice.

I have a box with forgotten words
And punctuation seldom used
In this box are synonyms
And grammar I’ve abused

There are commas there and colons too
Apostrophes spilling out the top
But the one thing there that I’ve got most
Are unused periods to make a sentence stop

I have one friend this bugs the most
Says no periods make my poems fuzzy
So I’ve collected them all and present them now
To the wonderful Deborah Guzzi

To my poems written in the past
I know it’s an offense I’m repeating again
But, I assure you this won’t be the last

Repeat Offender

The repeat offender sometimes wonder back yonder;the fonder memories of
many moments of meditating to manipulate as well as dominate the offenses
committed against thee.

"To thee and only thee have I sinned against." I the repeat offender ,at times
ponders why. Why can I not get it together ? A' huh Yes, I'm the repeat offender
who mind wonders about the day of conquer. Again, I say again today I repeat the
offense with so much intense, the sin of offense is so grest .This is how the
repeat offender operates.

Was the repeat offender a the perpetual praiser? What has you repeating the
offense? Repent! Rewind and Redo.
