LIGHT-SWITCH
I was ignored in the light
So I hid in the dark
I was shamed and sly
So I told myself a-lie
Full of despair, now I grown out my hair
Like Samson my strength in follicles
My feelings recreational
Neither longer truth nor dare
This chapter in my life sparks
Memories no longer in the dark
For you see I am a sinner
And now I’m coming out of the dark
You see I’m saved and forgiven and now I see the light
My life is like a Light-Switch, that I turn on and off
My love is like a Light-Switch, that I turn on and off
My eyelids are liken a Light-Switch which turns on or off
Unlike my feelings for God and Our Lord I will serve Him in peace and when I’m distraught
Unlike myself you see God’s not a light-switch, for He doesn’t turn on nor off

Premium Member Flip-Flop Reality Switching Off and On

I lie in flip-flop half enlightened state, half asleep, half awake
Betwixt shut eye and shuttered eye peeping out half open slit.
Flipping and flopping not knowing which state is real, surreal or dream.
Can I choose the better take?
Can I choose the better outcome?
Consciousness held suspended, reality blurred, bizarre and fuzzy.
I don't want to wake up till I know how to tell dream from too true.
Time suspended, sand in hour glass goes up and down.
I'm floating aloft awaiting the pin prick
That will spurt, splurt, blurt and babble me back to stark reality
Like a picked balloon careers in chaos around a room.

Off and On Switch

Time to turn off lights
But, I wanna write some more
There's always tomo.

Time to turn on lights
But, I wanna sleep some more
There's always tonight

Off and On

every time i see you
its like im seein see through
its just another state of mind
its just another thing that i left behind
its like a strong motion
more to devotion
its like dynamite im gonna start an explosion
as the dust that just blows away
just like every word that i ever had to say
its like back in the day i always stayed fresh with my fit
all these girls that im tryin to get wit
and you know as a ryder im just ready to hit
but i gotta say lets get
and we gone
just another way we off and on
tell the night all the way to the dawn
ur every look just got me drawn
u got me on the emotion
ur eyes are like an ocean
as im trapped at sea
everything about u i thought i could never be

Off and On

OFF and On
Simply put some people are always ON and they are supercharged and have no
lack of energy gastrulating vehemently as the victum less than gleefully reacts to
them oh please my work is over in one hour eye am very sleepy now as soon as
eye have eaten and made love then eye must sleep and get some rest somehow
oh eye knoe that you are someone in the world of education oh you say you are a
teacher and you expostulate the ramification of my emulation of a sheep at sleep
and resting in the field of grass between the Sheppard dogs at last just let me do
this last hour of my job and learn people do not have to bow to a higher learner
when they earn.

Off and On

Yesterday I lived in a different world.
A world filled with anger, selfishness, and a need for belonging.
Today I'm here, in a place unknown to most.
A place with warmth, comfort, where I am to belong.

My switch is either on or off.
From world to world I willing allow it to happen.
With faith in myself to know Im where I am for a reason.
A reason at times unknown to me, but in time I see.
