The self-obsessive free-will seemingly dormant,
envelopes the possessed mind with an illusory veil,
obscures the ordained destination God decides,
l need to reach, for I’m subservient of His will.
The unseen glow of the omnipresent light
floods my possessed essence, but I don’t perceive,
for I formulate the free-rule tenets enslaving the ego
in the realm of fantasized self-deception.
The stain of murky disdain blemishes the spirit,
as I traverse the slimy ground of cardinal indulgence.
Life is stifled by the corrupt clutch hidden within,
in penitence I feel the pernicious pangs of pain.
I travel unshackled out of the dark abyss of anguish,
on the inward journey through layers of consciousness,
perceive in the soul the shine of the spiritual crystal,
radiating in the inner sanctum with divine bliss.
Within the deep space of my godly awareness,
my soul sparkles with the brilliance of sacred sapphire.
In my self-searching odyssey at the edge of eternity
the luster of devout acuity turns me into a living gem.

Many mountains, seas, women, and dollars made
But for you only was each moment played
An aged wine flask, your decrepit skin cracks
As flaccid muscles bend your creaking back
Hard hammer toes hamper your stiff walking style
Toilet king, bilious bombard of bile
Fog obscures your mind, only to rise again
Wishing for many things which might have been
Stung as by tzetse flies you cannot forget
Fantasies won’t revive corpses of regret
Too late, with dreams drooling down your hoary chin
Awaken to the state you are now in -
A dream without legs, with all hope beyond reach -
A jellyfish sunbathing on a beach.

Visibility is low, wear a bright vest,
Cycle with lights on, caution is best.
Stay on the bike path across the Tappan Zee
The Hudson's below, but you can't see
You can't see the water, the fog is like a wall
It might be a blanket, it might be a pall
You peer through glasses - an ancient man smiles.
Your bike hums in tune as it laps up the miles.
Turn south to the rail trail above Grandview
When you see a face, you seek for a clue
a man emerges, with dogs on each side
He looks sarcastic, but you nod as you ride.
You reach Piermont Pier, last stop Erie train
Soldiers embarked, not all came back again
The white in the sky obscures the sun
Seagulls rest but your peace won't come
Memories like waves begin.
The air is soft, so what stings your skin?
Father couldn't speak before life disappeared.
You dream of him as you stand on the pier.
Fog as a cloak, you hide in a cloud
People are scarce, but you don't like a crowd.
Head down in the fog, try hard to shed a tear.
Stark bare trees on a foggy pier.
Last look back on Piermont Pier.

"Do I still matter?" I lament, in quiet despair,
As kindred acquaintances vanish, dissolved in thin air.
Solitude clots the cistern, blocks my spirit's flow;
Collateral damage obscures the expansive panorama's glow.
Vision dims, and trembling hands do falter.
Crutches bear the weight of ceaseless alter.
As though a harlequin, encased in collodion's mournful woe,
A vestigial soul, defying ruin's throes.
Primitive dictums supplanted by the pragmatism of the age:
"Who cares?" imbibed in youth's cage.
The sickle and hammer, now relics of savage years,
Venomous words sealed in the vaults of my fears.
Futile is the grasp to decipher Braille's cryptic code—
The ramifications vast, yet still I brave the road.
Reclaiming the immutable verity of my existence,
Hope that today's conundrums will shape tomorrow's persistence.

"My truths are the shared essence of empathy in the
fabric of universal oneness" - Quote by Poet.
The obsessive free will ostensibly latent,
overpowers the dazed mind with trance of falsehood,
obscures the righteous course God designs, l need to take.
The radiance of heavenly light floods my essence, I discern,
drive away the shadow of ego,
I emerge enlightened from the dismal domain of self conceit.
From the clasping fold of karmic destiny I’m released free,
transcend the limits of time and space, the soul surpasses
from mortal case, merges with the absolute entity.
I feel devout breath flow sincerely
with the current of embracing love, see the divine beauty
in everything God has gracefully created for us to marvel.
Empathy then drips from my heart,
defines my truths that I believe connect us.

The world trembles, society crumbles,
Yet winds blow—God’s power humbles.
Fire rages, smoke obscures our view,
His might stands firm, unwavering and true.
Tides ebb and flow, a ceaseless need,
Our human strength, both frail and freed.
Not mere revival, nor survival’s plea,
We’ll rise, grow strong, rewrite destiny.
No settling for echoes of the past,
I declare it boldly, this change will last:
Status quo? No, my answer resounds—
I seek more, where hope and love abounds.
In this sublime world, ticking toward the end,
I fight for love anew, hearts on the mend.
Knocking at life’s door, relentless and sure—
Embracing Grace, Forever Endure.

So now I must write
For not to, is unfathomable
As finally it stands within sight
My story welcomes the improbable
Engulfed by my phantom
I cling hysterically, to the unknown
Should this life had been a sitcom
The applause would had been renown
In the eclipse of it all
As greatness obscures the anxiety
I pause and esteem the heeded call
Right here, I could write for all infinity.

The waning light obscures my sight
As the lonely shadows fall
The moonless night prevents my flight
As the silence comes to call
A sudden chill that chokes my will
As I face its cold attack
A bitter pill I swallow still
As my vision fades to black

When the moon obscures the sun
close your eyes and don't look up
Let your circadian rhythm speak
to your heart, and do not fear
for the sun will reappear, soon.

The self-obsessive free-will ever seemingly dormant,
envelopes the mind with an illusory veil transient,
obscures the decreed destination God ordains,
l need to reach, for I should submissively at His will.
The camouflaged glow of the omnipresent light
floods my possessed quintessence, but I don’t discern,
for I formulate the free-rule tenets enslaving the ego
in the revered realm of fantasized self-deception.
I travel unshackled out of the dark abyss of despair,
on inward journey through the layers of awareness,
perceive in the soul the shimmer of the divine beacon,
lighting up the lane leading to the abode of bliss.
When the ill-conceived endeavor of the migrant mind
finds the dead end dark in the introspective pensive path,
the prime portal of the innate consciousness opens,
where the essence blooms permeated by divine light.
My soul shines with astral radiance in the space within
with the flaring brilliance of thousand suns,
in my self-searching odyssey at the edge of eternity
I’m illumined by heavenly galaxy in the inner sanctum.

A veil of white lace
obscures my bride's face
as she
walks with girlish grace
in her practiced pace,
look-see;
soon, she’ll take her place
standing pure and chase
by me.

Come to my gravesite
All dressed in red
A black umbrella held
over your head
that partially obscures you from view
As I am gently lowered to
my final place of rest
Take the bouquet you hold
So tightly to your chest
Tossed in as a final farewell from you
Abuzz with life the word will fly
Who is this and what does it mean
This gesture of love so blatently shown
before this to others unseen
Then solemnly turn away
And you and I who loved from afar
Cross the space of realities apart
Will once more connect in this day and time
In this expression from the heart
A beautifully executed ballet

BEHOLD the spine-tingling manifestation,
the GHOST TREE stands,
bathed in an eerie blue-grey hue,
a chilling stance.
It looms amidst the dense and opaque fog,
which muffles all sound and obscures all sight.
Its gnarled and twisted trunk,
devoid of leaves,
is ravaged by time,
etched with deep, screaming cracks.
Its macabre facade,
an arboreal mask,
frozen in a silent,
petrifying shriek.
The distant landscape shrouded in mystery,
a blur of shapes and shadows,
veiled in mist's cloak.
It beckons the curious, the brave, the bold,
to venture closer,
to uncover its tales untold.
Perhaps, it was once a mighty king,
a towering monarch,
a revered being.
But now, it stands alone,
a mere shadow of itself,
a ghost of the past,
a haunting apparition.
Or maybe, it's a portal to another realm,
a gateway to a world beyond our own.
One step closer, and the fog may clear,
revealing the secrets it's been holding dear.
But dare you approach,
beware the curse,
for the ghost tree's wrath may be worse.
It may ensnare you in its twisted ghastly clasp,
and bind you to this chilling dwelling
for all eternity.

Foliage obscures pathway tread with care
Furze and Heather create magical glow
High on the cliff breathing pure ocean air
Watching blue sea seething madly below.
Enjoying perfection under Spring sky
Sea-birds cavort doing avian dance
Moment of happiness engenders sigh
I am in the moment of happenstance.
Solitude welcome away from turmoil
At last time to think and reflect on life
Respite is a gift that nothing will spoil
Pure breeze blows gently at last there's no strife.
A perfect moment encapsulated
All negative thought evaporated.

The morning fog obscures, ironic in a sense,
as water particles are likewise in suspense;
muffling all sound, they coalesce in self-defense,
uncertain of their fate when sunshine does commence.
