Dropping Flowers, Blades Of Grass, And Us

Like flowers droop
but refuse to die
from the heat,
like tanned fields
subsumed in the struggle
to survive and keep
the flow of transpiration,
like the trodden blades of grass
pushing through sidewalk holes
to capture the cosmic energy
that fuels them onward
the victory they seek
to be free,
we, like all of nature,
must continue to travel
the jubilee road
riddled with imposing holes
and nullifying roadblocks
that causes us to stop
by the roadside
once and a while,
to check our engines,
water up,
and refuel our spirits
with divine wisdom
and guidance,
navigating us onward
and upward
on the paved footprinted way
our ancestors have left us
in the never ending passageway
to freedom, justice, and equality:
thus, let us buckle up,
and with eyes on the prize,
hit the pedal
along the remaining
bumpy way
of our liberation sojourn:-

Ground of being

An oldie

Nullifying

The separation

Implied by two

These two words

Being appearing

As solid ground

An earthy story

Of nothing much...

Premium MemberWhen

Wednesday, it was; Nineteenth, exactly if I must mention
Housewives, feeding kids and pets, were getting true tension
Eastward sky grew grey; impulsively, cattle rushed homewards
Nightingales, to sing of true love, tuned their trachea chords

Welcoming the moon and the stars on their valorous way
Habitats did bid goodbye to the scorching sunny day
Ethereal exuberance enhanced each environs
Naughty nocturnal nonpareils of April blow sirens

Wet with drizzles, weary winds wiped their whiskers on cool cloud
Howls of dogs, foxes, wolves, apes, and coyotes were heard aloud
Endless Rest promised the noxious sting of death has gone numb,
Nullifying negations, nature, notations new did hum

Spreading Happiness

Seldom pleasure I receive in my mind.
Probably due to severe bad weather?
Rather! My serotonin’s left behind.
Enough of the freezing stone cold weather!
Admit that life’s not always beautiful.
Do something bout it and make your utmost.
Instead of saying “It’s empty not full.”
Never pretend of loving your white ghost
Go and spread joy to a marvelous crowd.

Hear those soft wintry kisses in the air.
Amidst the lingering yellow petals
Playing with thy feet while the wind unsettles
Playing with thy dreams in the breezing cold
Ice breaking chats are the stories untold
Nullifying the pain is love you’ll gain.
Embracing peace is the truce you’ll maintain.
Spreading happiness robs your main duty.
Spreading happiness robs your affair.

When Will Forever End

Boundless love lets its own life stay
Everlasting day after day;
Remaining in its timeless way.
Never will it stop nor delay;
Always giving joy to the gray!

Dateless love lets its own heart beat
Infinitely in rhyme so sweet.
Zone of ageless care so complete
Offers embrace with warmth or heat;
Nullifying the cold conceit!

What more evidence do we need?
The orange-faced man is crazy, indeed,
Calling for nullifying our Constitution
Trump needs to be put in an institution!

Immortality

Where shall I weep
upon my own grave
o! foolish me
I forgot I'm dead

No more tears
nor the songs of sorrow
till the appointed time
for mortals to be tried

Away from mortal world I go
to face the trials of hades
and after three days
if conquerous be my conquest

I shall be ordained
death's own begotten
For out of death I live
nullifying the power of grave

and death be no more
for a dead man never dies
O! sweet immortality
the hope for every mortal man

Zero

Hardly does zero fidget
Wielding all the calculation rights of another digit,
In some environment wielding even the more;
In those said places showing 'How core',
By it a solver is dumped,
If by him neglectfully jumped...
The best Mathematician set ablaze,
If he doesn't make it his base.
The examiners tool for nullifying a performance
Preparing candidates and exam for another romance,
Ones animosities against it to wait,
Until one has Mathematics abandoned...
Our fervor for it our lot -our fate,
Until we are no longer by calculus condoned.
Always your Zero prejudices hold over...
Still your finer, better option
With this spherical naught settle your ruction.

God Gave To Adam Reason To Advance,

God gave to Adam reason to advance,
But the Devil, master of an unspeakable intrigue,
Gave Eve a boobs, to made the Adam weak,
By nullifying the gift of God at once!

Ignorance

Understanding court me,
be intimate with me,
Tell me sweet something,
and play with my emotion's.
Penetrate my thought's that they may conceive,
giving birth to something greater that's not naive.

Lock my ignorance away,
let it feel the helplessness of not having sight;
Let it be chained, and fed only the silence
having no love,  no warmth;
Take away the touch, the kiss of it's true love,
Force it to sign the divorce papers and let reality hit,
there's no one there to drive the cold away.

Are you willing to let me fall?
To look me straight in the eye as i crawl?
We were lover's by chance,
I gave myself fully to you
and selfishly you drew me, got me addicted to your touch,
but as quickly as it came it was gone
Because you let ignorance separate us,
Nullifying our love affair.

Understanding court me again,
Tell me sweet anything,
Let the defeaning silence shatter,
that my ignorance may flee.

Beyond The Stage Curtis Johnson

Mere oblivion,
me think it's not true.

Pleas give pause and caution,
and clearly think it through.

For the bell indeed must toll
for another scene that will never fold.

And as time slowly vanishes, nullifying finality,
eternity gives birth to us a whole new reality .

Purple and Red

A kindergarten memory
I have is very strong
And no one can corroborate
Or prove that I am wrong.

We’re gluing shapes to paper
And two colors we could use.
I look at all the choices
When deciding which to choose.

I proudly pick the purple
And to go with it, the red.
My teacher, though, suggests
I switch to red and blue instead.

Her reasoning is simply that
My colors do not match.
As I remember it, she felt
She’d saved me with her catch.

Imagine if I’d had the guts
To stick with what I liked.
Perhaps when projects came my way
I might’ve been more psyched.

By nullifying what I chose
The teacher, I think, fails,
For all she did was knock the wind
Right out from ‘neath my sails.

An artist I will never be –
Those skills I don’t possess.
Yet red and purple still look good
Together, I profess.

the flowers droop

like the trodden

pushing upward
through the hole of sidewalks

like we seek to be
as we continue
to travel the Jubilee road
riddled with imposing holes
and nullifying roadblocks
that cause us to stop
by the roadside
once and a while---
droop and recalculate
our sojourning strategies
to get us to the journey’s end:
in the land
of my father’s pride
for which in war—
he and his father died—
protecting the home of the brave
and the land of the free
which has thus far prohibited me
from true freedom, justice and liberty.

Nullifying Negativity

I have been twenty-seven for many, many years now,

some Viking reminds me that swimming naked in the

warm sea nullifies negativity: the crawl out of problems,

the side stroke of being at ease, the breast stoke born

first in us when we want to hold our head high in the

sea out of caution and dignity, our head skywards

while floating on one's back is something else if no

flying machines appear just the blues and yellows

and white of the above all the love of smart sun

tasting nature's salary of well being in the blue,

or green sea like tea, with white tops as the water is

almost as close to us as a lover, keeping us afloat

in life bouyed up by our children, families and friends.
