they ache from bending hot day picking....
union of voices spanish tongue
in produce fields dusty sweating farmworkers....
wanting needing more bread
america begin healing
gather post election breaking bread
a thanksgiving nation
As a mostly quiet American,
I have hopes for the election.
That no matter who wins,
there will be acceptance from
the other side.
Other people and I,
don't want post-election violence,
filling our country's streets.
We don't desire relatives, friends
bitter at their Thanksgiving tables.
I pray as I pen this writing,
that peace descends upon the nation,
so we as the U.S. can go into the
festive time of year with shalom u'vrakha. ~
sharing the harvest
children of want filling bowls
feeding her strength
Trump should be defeated with truth and democracy
Not with weapons and zealous filled idiocy
Crooks, a young terrorist and short-sighted halfwit
Who sealed Fredonia’s fate and everyone who lives in it
Yalda’s fate that gods, angels, and men can’t outwit
Soon the shouts of people will make the land quake and split
Even if Crooks succeeded in his aim and made it
It would have made Trump into a martyr and spectre
Who even without that gold bold eagle sceptre
Would have his cold presence cover all of Fredonia
And make Fredonia burst into red and blue fire
And another man possessed by the phantom of zeal
Would arise from the ashes and makes Trump’s will real
North America, USA.
Freedom, because of our understanding of the lack of democracy from other countries, fighting to maintain peace and be a civil nation, for humanity's hopes that we are all here for one cause, and one reason only.
To evolve into something better than we were before.
To search out and explore new ways to our ever-changing futures.
To be the most generous nation to ever be in all of the histories of humanity, no matter how you look at it.
To have the best interest in mind when other countries need our lending hands, keep the peace, or find a diplomatic solution to resolve a democracy breakdown.
America the Beautiful, America the Free, America the Brave at Heart. For the care that we have in how we maintain a country with civilities. Yes, America, I am Proud of Her. She is Our Roots. She is Our Home, America.
God Bless this nation!
It can be seen all around us
Hard times and its sounds
Companies closing down
Gas and fuel go up and staying unsettled
Then they fall to their lowest in years
Melancholy awareness and tears
War in other lands
Religion and stained hands
Media melodrama
Families going homeless
Foreclosure how sad
To loss the only home you ever had
Strange new biohazards in your neighborhood
A new beetle brought to North America eating at our woods
Turmoil worry
Fast pace lifestyles hurry up and hurry
Cut backs in city police and fireman
Laying the grounds for higher crime
Dirty politicians
Smeared on national TV
Kids on cell phones and I-pods
Addicted to electronics’ now they’re new God’s
Animals abandoned
One can easily become despondent
Are we near twentieth century abolishment?
Far away in a galaxy once unknown to man
A vision of mass seen from other land
She does rest there, with her people of many
North America a land of plenty
A sub continent broken away from years gone past
She lies there watching with her coast land so vast
Included are the sub-regions here to name a few, from the Great Plains
and the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the great basin with a view
The Canadian Arctic with waters of crystal blue
California and Alaska a flat eastern region, wouldn’t you agree
And the varied eastern region in the Appalachian Mountains ,can't you see?
Along to the Atlantic seaboard and the Florida peninsula there are fountains
Mexico with its long plateaus and cordilleras falls, is largely in the western region,
although the eastern coastal plain does extend south along the Gulf so pleasing.
