nervous scared groom waits
in his eyes bride reflected....
he relaxes smiles
Sometimes one can get a bit nervous at times
One can start to feel negative
Sometimes the butterflies come in
But we must search within
There is no reason to fear failure
Sometimes when you are too scared to try
Just remember the reason why
The reason that you waited so long for
For you have come too far
Sometimes we are better than we realise
A baby is born
His hair is shorn…
Off to school
Learns the rules…
Gradates college
The army he dodges…
Gets married, buys a house
Raises a family with his spouse...
Grows old, less and less bold
His tent at last he folds…
Nowhere is mentioned service
That’s what makes me nervous
If I wandered through the room
With lazy-lidded eyes
And a half-cocked smile, barely there
Would you see through my disguise?
My aura’s calm and steady
I’ve filled my head with songs
I’m channelling the tranquil spirit
Of someone who belongs
Relax my shoulders, slow down my pace
And say
less than
I could
I keep my speech cool and composed
Feigning ‘everything is good’
Fabricated serenity
Is wrapped all over me
(I’m wicked-nervous to the core)
I'm giving off ‘carefree’
I have better things to do
aint no need worrying about you
the sun is shining to day
just listen to what I gotta say
Sweetie please understand
I'm doing all I can
see fixing the we
in our relationship is what
we really need to do.

sound like it was what I
was feeling
spoke ah-couple words wrong
Woman you got me reelin
when we got to the happy song
it kinda changed my feelings
I started looking forward
to singing with youi
Dance with me
honey romance with me
it's all about you
Reallyt I love the thangs
you do
those ah-ooh ah's
the range when it's realy high
taking second glances
finding the nerve
to take a chance
What if it’s only a nervous breakdown if you bottleneck and bury the emotions that are trying to come through you?
That’s what causes the breakdown.
The resistance to what is,
the stopping of the process before it has an opportunity to move toward realization and resolution. What if something beautiful is actually happening within you,
something that wants to heal and move into full authenticity?
What if this is not a nervous breakdown,
but a nervous break-through,
a profound emotional cleansing,
a dissolution of the false structures that have ruled your life,
a breaking through to a more authentic state of being?
It's the holidays in Tinseltown
Let's have no one wear a frown
Children are worried about to have a nervous breakdown
We've searched the land both up and down
And cannot find if Santa's been around

Give it another shot.
Let's get to know each other
Is she real or is she not?
Take the mask off,
Expose your true self,
But not all the way,
Wall off for mental health.

Hoping it isn't fake.
Am I a fool, just a tool,
With pie thrown in my face?
She knows what she's doing,
But I have to figure it out.
It's my mind that she's screwing,
I just can't keep her out.
She seems so perfect,
Pure beauty the clout.
So worth it,
A gentle soul within, without.
Manned missiles in a queue,?Each big as a prehistoric creature,?Lined up for a lowkey suicidal mission.
I fly so many times-?I don’t know which one will be the last.?Should I finally buy into the reassuring safety claims-?Marketing ploys boasting longevity of service??Nineteen years of going places,?Says a cheapy flight.?No class system could save Titanic;?Would I be so lucky to stump fate?
The airline food-?Promises, with no exaggeration,?It will be there for us-?Throughout the ups and downs of life and beyond.
But turbulence comes unannounced,?Like a bumpy bus ride.?A thousand other rough patches later,?Still stirs up anxiety and TV dinners within.
I think I got away this time.?The tyres light celebratory sparks?upon meeting the ground.?And we, realists who don’t experience happiness-?Ever even once,?Overanalyse ourselves into painful exhaustion.
