still lake mirrors sky
dragonflies stitch quiet light
reeds hum in soft breeze
Elements
hills
surround me
as I drive
quiet conversations
forest
endless spread
of fauna and trees
breathes
lakes
morning’s
reflection [of]
sun
the sparkling water
flows with the light of the stars
shining from the top
the finch at feeder
It's a house that looks like home
they are comfortable
there's a tint of green
emanating from the field
empty but peaceful
many shades of blue
layer the mountains around
beauty multiplies
the sun has risen
gratitude has been shining
it's a choice to see

a stir, lift off on the cards
flight of fantasy
sick tree bends and turns
another leaf touches ground
just a crippling sound

cartel tries to replace pets
got stuck in my head
Moonflower jaded
dewy leaves surround night’s bloom~
phantasmic nightlamps
barking dog warning
my swimming hole nature wins
snake heads on the pond

ephemeral art –
deceived by apricity
brittle icicles

front yard veiled
Dewdrops on petals,
Nature's morning symphony,
Whispers of beauty.
Fluttering colour
Kaleidoscope rainbow
Drifts the summer breeze

A lofty tourist
Explores the dizzying clouds
A feather in flight
The ocean welcomes
Jubilant waves rush to greet
Like a dear, old friend
It is a gray day
Yet this small, secluded cove
Is colored with life
From towering cliffs
To effervescent tide pools
True beauty abounds
Stoic pelicans
Soar in orderly fashion
Patrolling the coast
The beach is littered
Pink seaweed, mussel shells, kelp
Nature’s partied hard
My toes in the sand
I rest on a driftwood log
Breathing poetry.
cleaving the black rock
the proud tree blocks wayfarers ---
wild shrubs hail the show

speeding naughty yacht
tears white skirts of green waters ---
questioning her course

silver waterfalls
like an Indian widow ---
on a shadow walk

rays of morning sun
play hide and seek with blossoms ---
breeze busy with trees
