At a Megalomaniac Convention
At a megalomaniac convention
I fell in love with me
So I proposed and asked myself
Will you marry me?
No, I said, I’m too good for you!
Yet much to my chagrin
No, Was not an Answer
So, I asked myself again
Please marry me I asked once more
The question now redundant
But when your ego is big like mine
Results are not abundant
I went to the county courthouse
For a license to see me through
All they did was look at me
And said, there’s only one of you!
I then went home to kill myself
But I had run my luck
For every time I shot myself
My ego made me duck
And now here we all sit
The two of us that’s me
Blaming megalomania
For my split personality

Personally I don't like the way he gets up
Every morn sqawking, strutting his stuff around, don't like, yup
Ring leader in the morn with his self-centeredness
His behavior exudes narcism and great abrasivesness
His neck stretched, chest extended, muslces flexed ready
This Rhode Island Red crows from dawn 'til sun up and steady

Drizzled light on stone temple
Irridiscent fetters on the mind
Anthem and prayers feigned humble
Milking memory of the blind
Origin has more truth that cutting knife
Narcism is a self inflated dungeon
Dismantling dreams for the empire's strife
Jingle you the joy of labor hard in us
Uttered platitudes did not stunch the pain
Brimming Caribbean in African dust
Inspiring a longer march away
Leverage for a truer automy than the share
Emigrants take attenuating their dignity
Evicted from reason to eat bread there.
