through the waking, dreaming and deep sleep states
memory offers continuity 
as we weave our way through life’s wispy gates
birthing feeling of perpetuity 

the light of our Self illumines the soul
which in turn enlivens the ego mind
but mavericks any we feel not whole
until we leave fears and desires behind

attuned to Self in cave of heart aflame
life

Starry-eyed stargazers beneath a starlit starscape,
Wandering wanderers wander in wonder,
Until fleeting hearts no longer fleetingly flutter

every blade of grass has a memory

I marvel at the miracle of the red clover with her circular leaves
purposeful ant marches past my musings, giving me a withering look

Grey Days

Somber light slants through the window.
The sun lazes behind blankets of clouds.
Grey skies are all I see.
A tranquil yet almost uneasy atmosphere
rests over everyone.
No one dares to shrug it off.
