Mother land
Although I am not a great poet,
I am writing poems now and then.
Nobody finds for you equivalent,
Nothing matches my hometown.
I'm not jealous of somebody's happiness,
I keep writing poems silently might.
Thinking about the homeland destinies,
Sometimes I wake up in the night fright.
Your stone does not affect my hips,
Blue meadow, coastal lake, green carpet.
Every time you

Mother Land
I am the doll made of your earth,
I am the living being
Breathing your air
I am the garden
In whose branches
Your words are parrots
This is the body,
Grown on the milk of your fields
This is the body
Which leaves its life
Like an arrow for you
But O Mother
In your fields
Grain is crying for workers
Heart is crying for tears,
Mother
When can you

Tunisia, Mother Land
When asked to portray my homeland
I honestly did hesitate
What to pen?
What to put in red and white?!
Tunisia, my Home Land
A gem of beauty in Africa continent
A mermaid bathing in the Mediterranean Sea
Could this me suffice?
To accord a tribute to my Mother Land?!
Never before had I a glimpse of thought
To envision my very stand
Let alone

Mother Land Cry
My love for you became ephemeral
My eyes now moist with tears
The flowers on gardens-are dry now
The annihilation i cannot face
I scream for peace and joy among my people
They paid keen attention-I wish
The guns-the murders- i heard their cries
Their lives stood on melting ice
My people fight my people
Who put labels on their faces
The racism, the sexism

My Mother Land
Recalled that you emerge from the womb of your mother land,
Reared up by that mother land,
Now calling that land mad,
Admiring the land of abroad,
Are you really a progeny of your mother land?
Calling your mother land good for nothing,
Without questing for its merits,
Playing havoc with the feeder of your mother land,
Robbing it as ruthlessly as

Mother-Land
Childrens of mother land!
Citizens of mother land!
I call upon you my fellow neighbours!
Hear my concern my fellow neighbours!
We heard reports about your Africans around the globe
Citizens of the world yell like monkeys when they see them
They are likened to mandrill and shown bananas
Africa you portrayed yourself as beggars and inept
Africa! Your children are scatted all

Mother Land
Yes I will die for her
Yes I will cry for her
But I will not turn my head and look the other way
I will not stand silent while others make a mockery of liberty
I will not stand silent while others
Distort the truth
And if I offend you

The Nature of My Mother Land
Tulips are dancing to the rhythem of breeze
Robins are singing ,atop, the old oak trees
Quails are waltzing , in a graceful pace
Butterflies hop ,from this to that place
Eagles are gliding down for a prey
Squirrels run for their lives, astray
Overhead , the sky is clear and blue
Underneath stretches the sea, what a view
Lovers on shore,sit in pairs
