In a village lived a lame man named Dick
Once he was walking along with a stick
A monkey with a grin
From back, pulled the stick in
With a flick of stick, he gave it a kick
I would have monkey arms and ttail
so I would jump from branch to branch
and visit all the trees around
in the city;
Early in the morning,
I would sit in one of them
laughing, chating and
looking down on people
dashing out of their homes,
waiting in lines for taxis or buses,
getting stuck in the traffic long hours
which often occurs;
and in the evening,
rushing out of their offices
crawling across and along the streets
just after they have left
their warm and comfortable seats,
while they are going back home
with unrhythmic steps
as a result of too much stress,
and I would do that with great finesse
Pimples? Banana is the key,

A nose is called many names
Some of them quite funny
Sometimes they are spotty
And often very runny
If you are unlucky you could have a bulbous nose
I would rather have a slender one, that's choosy I suppose
Roman noses are much larger and inclined to bend
Retrousser ones are saucy and turn up at the ends
Prominent noses stand out and can be very long
Hooters are another name that sounds more like a gong
A pig has a strange nose it is called a snout
It's not like other noses it's flat and don't stick out
An elephants nose is called a trunk it looks more like a hose
It is very useful as well the elephant knows
Then there's the proboscis monkey with his extraordinary sense of smell
They can use their schnozzle to find a boy or girl
There are lots of other names like sniffer, bugle, pug
I bet you've read enough of this so i'll pull out the plug
Lust for life, Van Gogh lost his ear,
The lust for gold by the old pioneer.
The lust for love or which we all long,
The lust for power for some so strong.
Gluttony,we yield on the guys night out,
A few more beers when it's your shout.
Eat fish n chips as you homeward go,
Just another pint, won't hurt you know.
Greed is a seed, hard not to grow,
Gathering things that you do not need.
Like the monkey with it's hand in the jar,
Letting go is too hard by far.
Sloth is almost self abusing,
Too lazy to use the gifts we've got.
Give of yourself and then refusing,
We are such a selfish lot.
Anger is always inside us all,
It lies like a simmering pot.
When we think all is well,
Up it rears and all is shot.
Envy is lust in another word,
We all 'eye' what is not ours.
They have what we aspire,
Ours if we had the powers.
Pride, we show our friends,
Glorying in their praise.
They know to what ends,
We went to get their gaze.
Sins, deadly and sublime,
and they number seven.
We all fall foul at some time.
I wonder if we'll get to heaven?

You were in your big blue suit,
And I wore the frock with a pear paint.
Suddenly when I saw a monkey with his big O shaped eyes,
The drop came out when terrified I closed my eyes,
I Ran fast and climbed over your feet,
Those little arms wrapped your knees.
Coming to you I felt it home.,
My grip would have told you my gloom.
You took me up and held me tight.
Upon your shoulder I opened my sight.
I would have been in my third year.

In front of a table there is a crow
Besides it sits a monkey with its tail coiled
In the same line is a penguin, a dolphin
A fox, a fish in a jar and at end there is an elephant
This is not a circus
Neither is it a jungle
It is a complete school under a well branched tree
And under its shade sits a man, a teacher on a chair
He teaches as he was taught
Like a parrot teaches another parrot
No wrong see in it who is not genius
But he is asked to take a test to gauge how genius they are
And he gladly asks every one either to climb a tree or swim an ocean
Here the heaven falls and all the terrible things are out of the hell
Now a genius looks like fool and a stupid look like brilliant
Such is the sorry state
Not only of our so called well developed education system
But also it is in our political and social spectrum.

Eating a banana, or laughing at your friends pee.
Monkey, monkey, with your friends and family;
Monkey, monkey, you’re so happy and free.
Monkey, monkey, chewing on a leaf;
Monkey, monkey, swinging through the trees.
Monkey, monkey, your so hairy;
Monkey, monkey, you live in bliss.
Monkey, monkey, you look so funny;
Monkey, monkey, you’ve got such a happy grin.
Monkey, monkey, you’re so cheeky;
But now little monkey, you’ve been caught by me.

Monkey, monkey, you’re no longer free.
Monkey, monkey, welcome to the zoo, your sanctuary;

Monkey, monkey, behind bars sat in your tire swing.

My mom’d just had a baby
And so to give her space,
My nana and my grandpa
Took me to a special place.
We passed a toy store on the way
And quickly we were stopping.
I found a doll I really loved;
I’d nailed this thing called shopping.
My nana loved to buy me things
But mom had made it clear
No matter what, there was to be
No toy or souvenir.
I left the store dejected
But we drove on to the zoo.
It cheered me and improved my mood,
As zoos are wont to do.
I noticed something rather strange –
A monkey with no cage.
At five years old the danger
I was not equipped to gauge.
As I bent down to pet it,
Its reaction was pure fright.
Before I knew what happened,
I’d received a monkey bite!
My nana was hysterical;
I guess I was as well.
The doctor stitched me up
And I kept up my crying spell.
To calm me down, my grandpa asked
How can we stop those tears?
A lightbulb flashed – the doll! I said,
Quite clever for my years.
And so I got a brand-new doll,
Accessories to match.
My grandpa’s guilt was dangling
Like a prize for me to catch.
The lesson that I learned was this:
No matter your intent,
A promise made is etched in sand
More often than cement.
Monkey with black tie

Touching ocean, sky
Absorb what you observe as quite absurd,
have fun with wacky wit that's seldom heard.
For instance, watch a shrieking monkey
monkey with a monkey wrench,
or a horse as it hoarsely horses
around with a horseshoe on a bench;
you'll find that, neighing hoarsely,
the monkey will horse around the bench
as noisily as a shrieking shod horse
monkeying with a wrench;
or hear a dog doggedly bark
at dog-eared books about cats,
or see some turtles crane their necks
like cool giraffes wearing straw hats;
in time, the dog will learn to meow,
to stretch its neck, to wear some hats,
as turtles try to bark and read books
about giraffish dogs and cats.
Observe you've just absorbed something absurd,
some wacky words are better read than heard.
