Premium MemberLove Beyond Love's Design

So sad the eye
That look upon another sunrise
That seems, a light, meaningless without you
For our love last outshined the brilliant sun
And all the lesser dimming shades we shun.
Our source bound as one
Continuous gleam of warming virtue
That blue-clad the golden sky—
But mortals die
And one day even I
Will fade from view.
The sun knowing only gloom
Exists beyond its sphere
Like the loneliness of this room
That calls you near
To comfort thro'
The night's despair—
Shades closed
Curtains drawn,
No moon
No stars
No dawn

Premium MemberMissing You Hurts

I have this pain inside
One I'm unable to control
It's a longing for you
Radiating from deep in my soul

This being away from you
Fills me up with misery
I despise not being there
It takes a toll on you and me

This longing has become painful
It haunts me as if it's a ghost
I should be holding you
And that's what hurts the most

This isn't what we planned
Spending our marriage apart
And even though it's temporary
It doesn't ease the pain in my heart

For this pain to go away
Our time apart must end
Finally coming home to you
Will let our aching hearts mend

Premium MemberHolding On

You took your love away
I'm trying my best to hold on
I know that if I let you go
You will forever be gone

I cannot accept that scenario
A life without you next to me
Would be a life I couldn't live
A nightmare i never want to see

How could I even try to live
Without you being in my life
The only thing I did right in life
Was simply making you my wife

I know there has to be something
I don't want our marriage to end
I know your heart is broken now
And it will take time for it to mend

I love you with all my heart and soul
I'm tired of being the reason you cry
Please give me my last last chance
Before you say your last goodbye

Premium MemberHot Summer Day

It’s set to be the heat today
As it was yesterday - I fathom
The God still takes us for a clay
Can’t tell one hot day from another
The ghost of you comes down but I
Can’t see if you are here
Though I can feel your loving smile
As if you are so near
As you once were in happy days
We nonchalantly spent
Maybe if I could see your face
I’ll be that ghost you met
In our lifetime’s recent past
Under your apple tree
We’ll meet again, revived from dust
Hot summer day it’ll be.

Premium MemberEchoes of Foresaken Promises

Its always aches,

when it becomes too late.

When you finally realized,

those and things you forsake.

And now,

like a coward,

I yearn for eternal rest,

rather than walk this journey alone,

without true.

left to wrestle with fading thoughts,

of unkept promises.

I slip into the void of this endless black hole,

of what might have been,

goes on to be forgotten,

 where unreleased words

and wandering feelings of love,

 gets relinquished,

into the forever what if.

Lost love seeps from curling words

into a floundering bloodstream flow of tears, sketches echos through the heart.

For it  is your acidic tongue drips venom,

and only God holds the serum

to cure the Scars of the dark.

Premium MemberOde to Sherri

I am stuck in the Eighties
I am being reminded of you
Every memory of Sherri
Is being invited and excited by
Emmaleigh
She looks so much like you
My dear Sherri
So much it's scary
Her reminder of you
Leads me to the times of our younger selves
In the depths of memories I delve
Even her mannerisms
Remind me of you
Every time I see Emmaleigh
I am taken back to when we
Met [fourscore and seven] in Germany

Premium MemberMissing You

If e'er you pause upon a night
with frequent sighs and lonely eyes
meet me in the gaze of night
upon celestial skies.

Whether known or foreign lands
or in the plains or wooded stands
meet me gazing near or far
upon the dance floor of a star.

For only high at points of light
can two hearts mingle in the night
and if only for a moment share
the joy of you and me up there.

Premium MemberAlways Somewhere

Across distant cities I wander and roam
Dreaming of you and longing for home
Each night without you I hear it in a song's refrain
And as the band plays the ballad I think of you again
Wherever I go to your love I'm devoted
Baby to you it's my heart I have quoted

Through distant cities my heart travels alone
So I reach out through the telephone
Your love’s always near and dear to me
Reaching far across land and sea
Soon I'll return to your irresistible touch
Because where you begin is where I find love

Premium MemberNO ONE KNOWS

NO ONE KNOWS THE PAIN I AM IN
OR SEES THE TEARS IN MY EYES
THAT DO NOT SHED
EVER SINCE YOU LEFT
NO ONE KNOWS HOW I CRY
IN MY SLEEP SINCE MY ARMS
NO LONGER HOLD YOU
NO ONE KNOWS HOW I
LONG TO HEAR YOUR VOICE OR
HOLD YOUR HAND WHEN I WALK
NO ONE KNOWS THAT WHEN I TURN TO
TELL YOU SOMETHING HOW MY HEART
BREAKS ALL OVER AGAIN
NO ONE KNOWS THAT
MY SMILES ARE FAKE OR
MY SOUL IS AN EMPTY SHELL
NO ONE KNOWS YOU WERE MY WORLD
THAT LIGHT THAT MADE
MY SOUL SHINE OR THAT
OUR SOULS WERE ONE
NO ONE KNOWS
THE PAIN MY SOUL FEELS
SINCE YOU ARE GONE
NO ONE KNOWS……………..

Premium MemberMusic's no good without you

And they will be filled with tears...

Is the follow up Johnny plays
After dedicating me my song,

It was number 1 this day in 1976
He told me as
I showed him iou Johnny,
Page 291
And told him about
Funny dummy dip

But,
It's too sad,
The tears on the first line
Reflect my own

As tina sang loudly

In this place of happy people
Who
Undoubtedly

Would not spot my tears,
Nor know the reason...

Music
's no good without you.

Premium MemberMemento Amoris

Come to me...

Even in whispered thoughts that come to not.

On the trail of ashes scattered at every stop.

In the wake of unborn indigo dreams.

In the last drops of a dying stream.

With a soft reply and ardent eyes.

And a silhouette that unveils your eyes.

Premium MemberDear Me

A letter for me
Came out of the blue,
Written by hand
Just like I do

Dear Me, it read
How are you today?,
Is your weather sunny
Or cloudy and gray?

I dropped you a line
Since we never talk,
Let's get together
Maybe go for a walk

Write me a few lines
Whenever you can,
And by the way...
I'm your biggest fan

P. S. I love you
More than you know,
Signed Sincerely,
Your Shadow...

A million times I said your name
Was it always our hearts to blame?
You and me, our hearts so adoring
Time for us… life will not be boring

A million times I said we will
It took time for our hearts to heal
You and me, our lives meant to be
Yet, we were just so young and free

A million times I said just stay
But you were only there to say
You and me, we’re not meant to be
Though my heart couldn’t agree

A million times, I said your name
Was it you or me to blame?
I longed for your hand, your kiss
You are the soul I’ll forever miss

A million times, I said this prayer
Hoping that you would be there
You and me, we didn’t have a chance
Though our spirits may one day dance!

Premium MemberThe Singing Mechanic

Last night, I dreamt I tried to run away
Til a mechanic —singing— made me stay
Though we never spoke
And then I awoke…
I wonder, what would I say?
