Premium MemberListen to the Wind

Listen to the wind sweeping autumn leaves,
pirouetting amongst a citrine sunset.
Whilst light rain collects at corners of windowsills,
illumination from a crackling fire
bounces upon unpigmented mourning walls.

Silent weeping occupies microcrevices,
confined within the splintering memories.
The creaking of an antique rocking chair
melds with the restless nocturnal atmosphere,
of time no longer waiting in the shadows.

Sheer onyx fabric draped over photographs—
death came much earlier, not from hate or spite,
but to erase the endless suffering,
of years wreathing in perpetual chronic pain,
locked within fragile bones and a trapped mind.

So do not curse the gods, my dearest love,
nor get lost in voids of sorrow oblivion.
Know peace has now been brought to my tired soul;
I wait patiently until we are one again.

Premium MemberJoy vs bliss

caged in a form in this domain
fleeting is joy as also pain
since we feel not one with the source
thus are prone to struggle and strain

if we give up the use of force
discarding feral instincts coarse
befriending silence, love entwined
we read script of bliss penned in morse

head melds with heart, love aligned
one with oneness, the truth’s divined
bliss in permanence here to stay
all cravings of ego declined

making love and light our mainstay
our heart emits a bliss sun ray
being that flame we have become
making earth life seem like mere play

Premium MemberConsciousness shift

head melds with heart and thoughts recede
synced with gong Om, the void’s our home
free from desires, on earth we roam

ego dissolves, love takes the lead
heart-centric soul begins to glow
resistance ends; we gently flow

bliss pheromones begin to breed
pulsating within day and night
God bestows spherical sight

we live as of need, not of greed
our eye’s mindful and touch gentle
for the most part, nonjudgmental

one with oneness, our will we cede
Breathed by God, we see Him within
His grace erases every sin

head melds with heart and thoughts recede
ego dissolves, love takes the lead
bliss pheromones begin to breed
we live as of need, not of greed
one with oneness, our will we cede

Premium MemberThe aim

constrained by senses five and fragmented mind
the world of plurality is what we see
to the underlying reality blind

the absolute truth alone can set us free
which when poised in the void is by us divined
when head melds with heart and both with truth agree

when we behold God in each and every form
with pulsations of His heartbeat we conform

Premium MemberSong unsung

There is a piece I've longed to share,
which, up 'til now, I wouldn't dare,
where courage pushes fear aside
and shackles up my foolish pride...

To put to words, as much for me,
affection in simplicity,
and say those things I wished I could...
that chance may now be gone for good.

I near succumbed to COVID's wrath;
now, barricades deny clear path -
a bottleneck for oxygen.
So much to tell; where to begin?

A battle raged; a drawn-out war
that ended with a winning score:
I pulled ahead - a blessed reprieve;
the reaper's gone; yet, still, I grieve.

For scars remain; we coexist.
Not given up; I will persist,
but dreams? There was one 'mong the few:
to hold you close and sing for you...

A tune that melds our hearts together,
and keeps us warm through stormy weather,
a lullaby to ease all fear
and let you know how much I care.

But vocals won't cooperate;
on ev'ry nerve the raucous grates.
Those singing days are done, it seems;
some visions, sadly, dwell in dreams.

If fate insists that I must wait,
this voice will ring at Heaven's gate!
So, pardon, if I'm way off-tune;
at least, at last, Love will shine through!!

Premium MemberThe direct path

“The path appears when we walk upon it ~
That we stumble not, lamp of love is lit”
~ quote by poet

Poised in staid silence where no thoughts arise,
our heartbeat echoing the cosmic drum,
we dissolve in the magnetic bliss hum,
illumining form as rays of sunrise.

Each breath intake a delightful surprise,
Holy Spirit a flame, which we become,
erect spine, a violin, which we strum,
that light of Self may materialise.

Synced with bliss beats, nectar begins to flow,
navigating its way through feeble form,
enlivening body-mind made of dust,
that as we so then shine like a rainbow,
vaporised presence centred in love’s storm,
melds with God’s light, in playful childlike trust.

Premium MemberThe Three Primary Colors

"Never paint except with the three primary colors [red, blue, and yellow] and their derivatives." Camille Pissarro

One primary color can make me feel mellow
when warm like honey heated up or like rays of a golden sun.
It’s flax, saffron, blond, and canary yellow,
cheerful like a daffodil and bumblebee fun.
It’s bananas too and a well-buttered bun!

The second and vivid primary color
spells energy, boldness, passion and power.
Cardinals make most other birds seem simply duller.
A symbol of love, rose reigns as a fragrant red flower,
while scarlet and crimson sunsets my eyes can devour.

The loveliest for me of these three colors is the hue
that melds with yellow, thus creating green.
Some jewels, blooms and berries are naturally blue.
Splendid is a dusk with the tint of an indigo sheen.
Oh, cerulean sky above seawater shimmering aquamarine!

Premium MemberAll we need to know

“The knowing by which everything is known ~
Enables us to come into our own”
            ~ quote by poet

Thought the toxin, which ego feeds
Save ourself, who else can we blame
Lust a tempest, too hard to tame

In staid silence, ego recedes
Poised in peace, we choose to be still
Voids within in timeless time fill

Fears and desires ebb, love then leads
We feel one with the universe
Dancing without need to rehearse

Head melds with the heart, where bliss breeds
No conflicts remain to resolve
We do nothing but yet evolve

On God’s love and light, our soul feeds
His magnetism fills feeble form
We yield to love’s benign bliss storm

Thought the toxin, which ego feeds
In staid silence, ego recedes
Fears and desires ebb, love then leads
Head melds with the heart, where bliss breeds
On God’s love and light, our soul feeds

Premium MemberDrop thought ego begot

Prone to weigh and size,
we stifle surprise,
of bliss magnetism,
in body-mind prism.

Thought opaques soul’s light,
a blockage, our blight,
which when we release,
life flows on with ease.

Watch how dreams unfold,
as stories retold,
in which love’s bliss squall
melds us with the all.

If we be but still,
voids in heart will fill,
revealing God is
light and love’s bliss fizz.

Feeling not thinking,
focus unblinking,
obtaining clear sight,
we behold His light.

Premium MemberLove

Love is the alpha and the omega;
both the beginning and the end.
An intangible, ethereal spark:
love, melds two souls together
till two becomes one;
inseparable and eternal.
An indestructible bond
formed from fragile feelings:
love spins threads of hope into a rope
that can support the weight of two.

Premium MemberFrom darkness to light

In as it so seemed to be, desires and fears
had both somewhat ebbed away but this thought was
but a concept conjured by wayward ego …
   which we thus renounce.

For as long as we are identified with
body-mind, we are in a state of stupor,
knowing not the light of soul, that glows within …
   light that lights all lights.

Recognising truth of our magnificence,
head then melds with toroidal heart, whereupon
we as living light resplendent with rapture …
   at last feel complete.

What’s that fulfilment,
which extinguishes desires
and releases us from fear?

Once head melds with heart,
union of polarities,
results in bliss unending.

Premium MemberPoetry Soup Main Fixings: Words

Words that stem from the heart seldom a mind,
would update fellow captives of a world
they knew--spent or saved since, much like the word
they are ... or were. Absentia defined
the heart's favor or mayhaps realigned
for its survival. Nonetheless, the heart
becomes the key element or stalwart
of their concern for life to be designed
for that world's fruition, taste a la carte.
Spent and saved ills time, victims objective;
spotlight, be recognized, and make your claim:
--author, I live, create me ... for I'm yours.
Words from the heart spur a rare perspective
melds in inkwells, mutes parchment, voice frame
heartfelt words fused presence ... eternal years.

Honeyed amethyst is the soft shade of twilight
as it smoothly melds with sunset's prismed hues
Moonlight glints with the glow of a lustrous pearl
Stars gleam as multifaceted as crosscut diamonds
Celestial beauty reigns in the bejeweled night sky

Your hypnotic eyes
and childlike exuberance
sends a bliss spasm through my veins.

My void centric stance
melds my spirit with God’s light,
aglow in cave of your heart.
